  1. the luckiest thing for Rips would be there road rules are a shitload less strict than ours.. the car that does 8.2's is great however it wouldnt be a road car here in aus seeing as it drives around with a chute 4link and wheelie bars from memory?
  2. not everyones a mechanic or has mates that do machining for cartons of piss.. to most people... this is a steal.. considering all you have to do it transfer all your parts off your rb25.. onto the 30.. drop it in than sell off the old rb25 "RB30 Stock internal long engines start at NZD$5250 with RB25 head. (suit up to 600hp and 7200 rpm)"
  3. dont think so mate
  4. if it was me i'd probaly go with something along the lines of tomie 260 or 270's 10.25's from memory tomei rate the type A springs to 8500rpm and 10.8mm lift as for the dumps.. i cant see factory r33 dumps being better than any that you've listed.. i believe nismoid has a set of trust dumps for sale that would suit the job quite well in my opinion
  5. from memory there is a setting that is for the nismos.. they dont use the z32 setting...(from memory anyway.. been a little while so i may be wrong)
  6. i honestly think there has to be a typo with that twin plate..
  7. your crazy. (when do i get to ride shotgun )
  8. the step 1 2 and 3's mean more than just bore size. heres the hks kits brief run down Step 1, pistons rods and crank Step 2, pistons with coatings rods and crank Step 3, pistons with coatings and billet rods and crank the tomei step 1 and step 2 are slightly different with the step 2 having the cooling channel pistons
  9. the steps of the stroker kits have nothing to do with bore size. you have the option of 86.5 and 87mm with most of them.. some have 87.5 and 88mm which i wouldnt think about doin if your pushing a motor anywhere near its limits while hoping for reliability
  10. i have to second this.. the bilstien packages are great however the tein aus spec super streets are bloody awesome and i highly reccomend them email dan at ERD for a price.. he offers a similar bilstien kit with the option of tein super streets drop him a line at sales@erd.com.au much much better service than SK
  11. wouldnt that be stock stroke.. not crank?
  12. anyone... its afm and plug delivered anywere around aus via express bag... these are basically brand new!!! surely someones after some.. i have no use for them anymore
  13. vaguely remember someone saying it was 62 or 64cc's
  14. sounds like a GCG thing to me.. i had a bloke try telling me about a T04z SPL and SPL2 a little while back.. and i told him there is no such thing.. did some researching and it turned out that GCG nicknamed a standard t04z with split pulse ex housing and ported comp cover the spl and the spl2 was the exact same except had a ported 0.8comp cover so i'd say it'd be something similar to that.
  15. let jhh do there thing with modifying the standard buckets.. the tomei buckets are quite a stuff around.
  16. $290 delivered each. $580 delivered the pair. sorry mate would rather keep them together
  17. ive used the just jap radiators in quite a few different cars.. and for the price they are best bang for buck in my opinion
  18. only if your flux capacitor is installed correctly.
  19. water/meth injection
  20. i wouldnt be using V band's on all intercooler joins as they simply dont flex which you need to have in ic piping.. maybe use them in a couple of places.. but definately not for every join
  21. octane booster is a waste of time. just get your car properly tuned to wat ever pump fuel it is you run.
  22. good to hear your better! its a shame you chant choose who your body parts go to unless its a relitive from memory?
  23. *puts phone on silent* and prepares the "sorry was drunk didnt hear it" excuse
