  1. you shouldnt be taking your line thru water like that anyway...
  2. if your goin to chop it off after the cat than gut the cut.. why dont you just unbolt it before the cat.. and get a straight 3inch made up for rest of the way.. no mufflers no cats and will knock a bit of noise out compared to having it just dumped under the car
  3. can we get audio of the lady talking while reversing.. sounds like a classic
  4. no pulse or foot control.. no purging and no filler rod. except were the flanges are welded up purgin is awesome however not cost effiecent for the work i do
  5. you've already got a SS why take an even further step back?
  6. like you can talk ya grumpy old bastard
  7. thanks for the kind words dude are you refering to the short 50mm straight part thats welded inbetween the 45 degree bend and longer straight part or refering to how its 2 45;s with a bit of straight in between if your refering the 2 45's with bit of straight it was for clearance and to match up with the current cat back system that was on the car as for the stick advice.. ive replied in your other thread
  8. you can do it however you will need to focus the heat into the flange instead of the pipe its quite easy to do if you know wat your doin however it'll be alot easier with a mig or tig.. however same thing.. you will need to focus the main head onto the flange and let it roll over and fuse into the pipe so basically... instead of havin the rod like this to the join... /|\ angle it more towards the flange if you get wat i mean.. when i make it home ill make up a shitty paint drawing to explain wat i mean
  9. by looking at the greddy pipes you have pictured it does not have the additional port for the standard bov's however i'd reccomend running a greddy type R plumbed back in regardless if you prefer to not have any
  10. wat sucks the most is im so far away
  11. relitively easy.. biggest problem will be if you dont preheat and cool down the manifold properly before and after welding
  12. steaming is one of the best ways.. flush it out with fuel and wat not than wash it out with water.. use to use a hot gurney to do it at the radiators shop... same process for oil coolers
  13. thats wat i was thinking.. maybe its a WA dyno?
  14. its definately the stock one. has just had the diff cut off
  15. only just saw this.. having trouble remembering the brand name of the cores they use to order in when i was working at the radiator shop.. either way if you messure up wat size core you want you can get it custom ordered and usually isnt to exxy all of the companys that make cores will do it..
  16. dan at Elite drop him an email at sales@erd.com.au he's in brissy top bloke and knows his stuff
  17. i use to pay $22-25 a bend for 3inch however price of nickel has gone up a little bit since than so prolly 25-28 for 3inch but yer thats highly polished finish.. and smooth as babys but in side can cut the bend in half so its a 45 and it will mate up perfectly to straight pipe.. have gotten stainless bends from china before for slightly cheaper but the material quaility was f**king shithouse.. the mandrel bends were more like press bends.. however i'd say they were done with a f**ked mandrel bending machine.. was like a football rolled sideways around a corner so now its as for the flanges.. if they have the cad drawing for it already its cheaper but i cant remember the price last one i got done was a custom one for a wrx split pulse dump pipe i think it was around 40-50 3inch 2 bolt flanges were around $7 each from memory however that wasnt in stainless
  18. f**k no. if i had absolutely no choice.. i would quickly be changing the rev limit on the fc controller to 3500rpm
  19. come on.. it had a 7 in it somewhere 9.97 maybe? meh i cbf thinking to hungover i just remember one of your runs was 139mph and was a 9 but had a 7 after the 9. somewhere

    Im Back

    :(
  21. im suprised you didnt point it out.. but twoogle's runs were 10.3 at 134mph with his 2530's and its been 9.7's i believe at 139mph.. so this blokes definately got a low/flat 10 in his car already seeing as he's doin 138mph.. i wonder if he knows about the 140+mph thing with andra which is why paul holds twoogle in third in twoogle across the line for the 139mph
  22. LOL i know its a tig i was more refering to what brand and model tig you use.. as for suppliers of good quaility bends i was lucky enough to have worked in a sheetmetal place for a while and got a very very good contact for stainless pipe and mandrel bends out of curiousity what do you pay per 3inch 90 mandrel in 304? i dont bother buffing any of the exhausts i do as they eventually change colour anyway wish i had an exhaust shop like yours to get flanges from.. ive gone straight to the suppliers that the exhaust shops use and they still want an arm and leg for stainless flanges and there not cut all that cleanly
  23. must be gotten on video than.. just like the old man putting bunta to shame in downing jagerbombs!!!
  24. im sure Dan at ERD could do them for something like that email him and ask Sales@erd.com.au
