  1. i guess you could get one custom made.. i'd go for alloy.. how ever why bother? for the cost of the drop tank you could buy a cheap daily shitta that runs of the smell of a oily rag..
  2. hmm anyone gunna have a stab at this one? also.. i got a question for those people that do the port n pollishing with flow testing n shit.. do you guys aim for max that the ports will flow.. not caring about the difference between how much the intake flows compared to the exhaust.. or do you try to get as much out of the lesser flowing side from factory than just match the other side to that.. and leave it there?
  3. curious.. what did you find wrong with greddy type r that make you go back to the stock twins??
  4. nice colour wicked1 btw is that hpc coated dump pipe? also i'd be relocating that afm and pod..
  5. i think you guys missed something aswell before jumping to the conclusion of changing turbo's upgrade your dump pipes they will certainly be holding back some spool time and i'd also imagine a bit of topend flow aswell.. im quite suprised they hadnt been done yet anyway...
  6. haha.. i'd be wanting a forged bottom end if its goin to get a constant caining for that long.. also in the list there you havent specified a computer? i assume you've already got a powerfc? if so.. i'd throw in a q45 or z32 afm in there aswell.. the best person i'd say to ask about setting up a gtst for track work would be sydneykid.. send him a pm or.. he'll most likely find his way to this thread sometime during the day i'd assume?
  7. im more keen to see the dyno sheet and a few other specs of the engine
  8. hks filters of death...
  9. buy powerfc.. instead of a wolf.. cheaper.. and less problems
  10. go bananaman go go bananaman go go bananaman go
  11. dyno sheet at all?
  12. still running standard dumps :|
  13. if its less than 1000 delivered.. as far as im away you wont get his with taxes even than it'll only be small interesting tho that he's put up the prices in au? cause if there in yen.. they always have been if you want something that isnt on the website send an enquiry and they'll get back to you.. may not be the quickest but yer
  14. also i'd like to note.. at a dyno comp up in cairns(ignham car show actualy) recently a skyline picked up 65hp at the rear wheels with having its bonnet up compared to having it down.. and shoot out mode rules state that you must run your bonnet down n latched
  15. a dyno is simply a tuning tool.. you cannot compared dyno to dyno as no 2 dynos anywere around the place are goin to give the exact same power reading for the same car regardless and as for 280kw out of stock turbo's on stock boost i f**king doubt it... unless your 'stock' turbos are r34 n1's.. even then i'd doubt they'd be sitting on stock boost.. and also in regards to you being a mechanic.. or who you've worked for it doesnt really mean shit.. as there is always someone out there who knows more than you do.. regardless of wat its about
  16. sweet good luck i hope to have my rb26 s13 running soon.. when i get around to it lol
  17. i'd be ringing them up and asking them wat the go is with that..
  18. i think i'll probaly end up goin the 2530 low mounts.. how ever.. im not a gtr.. but i know dirt garage's results were on race fuel n all that.. but hell.. someone post up a dyno sheet of 2530's being push to there limits on pump fuel than compare them to magazine comparision.. would be very very interesting to see
  19. i was under the impression the dyno sheet comparo in the magazine were unknown spec engines.. meh who knows
  20. just remember dyno to dyno and also the health of the motor but yes a poorly tuned computer is a bad thing
  21. ok this is my recommendation.. 1. HKS GTRS, power fc, 555cc injectors kit from nengun http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/26 2. Front mount GKtech should be ample.. for the price you really cant go wrong 3. BATMBL split front and dump pipe and highflow cat.. will also need cat back providing you dont have one.. either get one custom made at ehaust shop.. or search around and order one weather it be from japan or the forums.. exhaust technology off ns.com forums does some awesome deals on cat backs and the like.. 4. Bosch 040 intank fuel pump and wire it up so it gets full 13.8 volts (search forum for the info on this) 5. Last but not least Z32 AFM 6. (optional) tomei Pon cams 7. boost controller which ever you prefer ------------------------------------------------ OR ----------------------- 1. Power FC (standard spec) 2. Boost controller of some sort which ever you prefer 3. i dont know about ase intercoolers.. how ever im sure a hyrbid or GK tech intercooler pipe will suit you fine 4. Batmbl split dump and front pipe and highflow cat (and a cat back to suit weather it be a jap brand or custom made jobbie from the exhaust shop 5. GCG highflow 6. 555 nismo injectors should be ample 7. 040 intank pump 8. and aswell z32 afm 9. Pon cams (optional once again) ok in the little list of things he recomended.. i dont understand why you've put power fc Djetro than put Z32 AFM.. the idea of dejetro is to get rid of the afm and run map sensor.. which for your car you dont need
  22. order of mods should be as follows 1. 3inch turbo back exhaust including highflow cat 2. assuming you dont want to go down the track of massive horsepower a gktech front mount kit will do you perfectly fine 3. either pod filter or a decent panel filter in the airbox maybe even mod the airbox for a bit more flow.. 4. rb20 actuator or cheap bleed valve and raise boost to 11-12psi 5. depending on condition of fuel pump replace intank with a bosch 040 how ever not nessicary while still running stock turbo in my opinion and aswell as everyone else.. i'd like to know why on earth your 'mate' said buy a gt3540 and manifold to suit before buying a computer injectors and computer and fpr at minimum let alone fordged rods and pistons for that extra safety
