    FFS, how did you do that, i was going in and out using different model codes to see what each model used, your way is obviously the way it should be done.

    There is a stagea that parks in the seaford hotel car park sometimes, always know what it is, knew about them many years ago, the first one i ever saw was the rb26 version.

    Im sure a lot of mechanics would love it if SAU was taken down, the amount of knowledge on this site is huge, i know my wallet would have been emptied a couple of times without the knowledge from this site.

    The pinky one is nsw rta im pretty sure, those are vic tac ads, there is a couple of worse ones like when a chick gets thrown through a windscreen and another where a car gets rapped around a tree but i couldnt find those. Dont know why they stopped using them.

    But its also got VIC written down the side, never use to have it there on standard plates, only seen it there on personalised plates.

    And if you have a look at your part number your ecu is for a carbie fed rb26 lol, im assuming its a typo. But atleast yours is an rb and not a br

    These are the only part numbers listed for an r33 gtr ecu Whilst the first numbers are the same the second lot on an r33 start with a 2 and end with a 0 or 1

    Thats a gooid point, most of the ones around my area are complete stockers. I would rather skylines be called the next volvo than the next vl, i hate vl's with a passion!!!!!!

    I guess it comes down to how much money you have as to whether its cheap or not, i paid 15k for mine, i consider spending 2k as a cheap a-b car, which is what i paid for my nc fairlane.

    Should have mentioned that i need one local that i can pick up today, have lined up a set of coil packs atleast will see how they go, if i cant fix it today i will probably just re register my fairlane and take the 33 off the road.

    yeah, then i went into the r32 section to see if there was any in there with the same part number as it spat out for me, which it seems the same part number was also used for all the rb engines apart from the rb20e.
