I try to do everything my self, recently spent $500 on parts trying to fix a problem, ended up having to take it to a mechanic, another $500 later and its fixed with a power fc tune, if you have a good mechanic sometimes its cheaper to just give to them.

mine died so i bought a second hand hi flow off here, best and worst thing i ever did, gave a good power boost and got me hooked, now i need more.

I got it to work fine apart from the half speed thing, although after i pulled the cluster out my car ran like shit, after many hours and dollars it was traced back to the ej1, i did not remove the wiring from the ej1 loom so i have no idea if the problem was with the wiring or an internal problem with the ej1, after all the money and time i spent finding this problem im not plugging it back in to check, hence why i am willing to sell it cheap, the only car i have been able to track the ej1 to was the nismo R33gtr 400r, have not been able to find any records of it ever being sold retail so as you can imagine these are extremely rare and if i knew for sure that it was in 100% working condition i would be asking $500+ for it but since its unknown the price will be considerably less. As for the remote, (its not the original its a pregrammed one) the problem is that when you press a button it is as if you have pressed that button 5 or 6 times in a row really quick, to get around trhis you have to press the button and then cover the end of it so it only sends the command once, its easy when you not driving but i would not recommend doing it whilst your driving, i tried it and almost had an accident. As for installation its only 6 wires which are very simple to wire up, took me about an hour and i triple checked everything, i will attach the installation manual for it as well, also the output to the dash is just an rca cable so you should be able to hook it up to a tv head unit. So far i have had an offer of $200 for the ej1 alone and $500 for the dash and ej1, i would like to get rid of these together so unless i get a better offer in the next couple of days they will go for $500. I have a nismo lcd dash cluster, pics of the cluster can be found HERE will put up pics of my actual dash tonight. It will need to be calibrated as for some reason it only displays half the speed you are actually doing, have been told that this is because it came out of a gtr and they have a different speedo signal. Will fit a R33 gtr or gtst. Also have an ej1 but for some reason once i removed the nismo cluster it decided to screw with my afm, no idea whats wrong with it also the remote is usable but a bit dodgy. dash $300 ono ej1 make an offer.

You seem to be getting very defensive, are you going to tell me that this sort of power from a standard 1j is normal, this sort of power from an untouched 2j is not normal. Also i assuming it was 300rwkw?

Not worried about any one else, just assumed from what has been said previously that the 100% is an automatic ban, the example i gave was to demonstrate how the non expiry rule is flawed, but it is a mute point now.

I had a problem that i tried to fix by replacing these parts, they were not the problem, all parts are factory S1 R33 gtst. cas $150 igniter $150 coil packs $100. Located in frankston, willing to post but pick up preferred.

So someone could be a member here for 10 yrs, get 5 warnings in that time and there banned?? Sounds a little harsh.

Had a search through this thread and cant find an answer, basically i have just had my power fc installed and instead of having to take the kick panel off every time i want to check something through the hand controller i would like to leave it in the glove box, is there anyway to lock the keypad so that buttons dont get pushed by other things in the glove box?

I would have thought that you can draw enough air from around the headlight.

Let me know what the power figure difference is between the 2 dyno's, had mine tuned by trent yesterday I was hoping for more power but with the injectors at 96% there isnt much room left.

Maybe you would not end up in court, i just had a mind picture of that scenario so i thought i would post it, depending on how far away your house is you would be in a lot of shit, going to the nearest cop shop would probably be the best bet, but do you really want to go to a police station in a modified import, especially since once you dont stop vic roads will call the cops. Also as to the van thing, there are vic roads vans with the push bar on the front, they also do the westgate freeway and bridge, have seen them as far as the werribee exit. There depot is at the bottom of the bridge on the left hand side inbound just before you hit the shell exit.

LOL, the big VIC ROADS stickers and purple lights wouldnt give you a clue as to who they were and what they wanted?? My understanding is that the cops and vic roads are of the same level when it comes to traffic matters, you must pull over for both, vic roads are also known as wannabe cops. Normal cops can do the same as tmu but as most of them dont know jack about cars they will probably just fine you for what you did wrong, also the normal cop cars usually have enough to worry about with out wasting more time trying to defect someone. Maybe he is TSS but everything he said is just pure common sense, if you want to get up in front of a court and say "im just a dumb f**k, i didnt know that the vic roads sign and flashing lights an sirens meant that i had to pull over, i thought it was the local drug dealer who had ran out of stock and wanted to jack me for my 2 X's i had" then you go right ahead, will be a good read in the local paper

Why the f**k do all these dyno guys put up road speed instead of rpm.

+1 Do some searching on here (for sale section is best) and get a pic and then search calais turbo, they are not a lot different but enough so you cant interchange them.

I want antilag, a mate use to have an R31 with an E6K, 3rd gear anti lag starts were awesome, laid licorice strips with ease.

Unless you are in a huge hurry to get one i would keep an eye on ebay and the for sale section and wait for a genuine greddy to pop up, will cost you a few hundred more but will work the way it should. copying the out side of one of these is easy, the inside is where all the r&d goes and thats the dodgy bit of these copies.
