Been told that to do a full epa test costs a few thousand, is this true?

LOL, good luck trying to find a diagram of how to hook it up as most people are more worried about how to get rid of it. I believe its just one hose from the ic piping to the solenoid and another from the solenoid to the wastegate, from there its a matter of testing, if you hook it up and it boosts past 7psi switch them around.

They sent me an email saying that if he did not have funds in his account that i may not get my money straight away but they would do everything they could to recover it. I also have a friend who got nothing because the other person had nothing in his account.

From what i was told zeetex are also korean and are made from the same material as tyres like the hankooks, i know they work well for me. I know there is a second hand joint next to the car yard which is next to the tyre factory.

I just got new tyres for my 33, they are zeetex, 235 40 18, i have around 220 rwkw and it handles the power pretty good, last set i had handled the wet well too, they were $165 each, bit cheaper for 17's, got them from motorsport wheels and tyres on south gippy hwy in dandy.

I have seen forums around that post your ip in every post you make, maybe this forum should start doing that and therefore eliminate some some of the anonymity. I personally would not care about have my ip published as im not here to do any thing wrong.

Just wondering, only just read me defect notice tonight, if im reading correctly you have 7 days to drive the car, after those 7 days you can only drive the car for another 21 days to have it tested or repaired AFTER the defects have been fixed, after that time the rego is suspended, is that right? I have attached a front and back copy of my defect, the bits im referring are the first instructional bit on the back which refers to section 4 on the front but section 7 says that i have up untill the 4th of march before the rego is suspended.

Bubbling is also an indicator of head gasket or head problems which would also cause it to run hot.

I dont think you could class most of this as a natural disaster because some one lit the fires to begin with.

I have a big muffler in front of my diff that is the low point, going to look at removing it or getting a smaller one.

Was there any extra wiring that you could see, should be wires for the air bag.

Most S1.5 only have a drivers air bag, S2 got driver and passenger, judging by the year and all the S2 i think there is a good chance it is a S1.5, maybe even a S2. Do you have an igniter on the coil pack cover up the back, S2 dont have one.

Any chance of it being a S1.5 and is meant to have an airbag which would have a different wheel?

Could it have possibly been sent over from tassie and left there for the buyer to pick up?

Put in the coil overs today and measured the height, the main low part is one of my mufflers plus the fact that there were 3 of us in the car, me on my own and with out that muffler and it would have passed. I got the modifying guide from the vic roads web site and nothing in there says there illegal so im guessing its just one of those many false rumours that people just believe as most mods these days are illegal in some way.

Can you also ask him what the go is with measuring the height, where i pulled over the road was not level, in the middle of the car the road would have been higher and since he did me for 30mm too low if i had have been on a flat ground it would have been close to legal.

I have thought about that my self, its just a basic white sticker with black writing, maybe they have already thought of that though (especially the ones that dont have one at all) and thats why they have the book with all the sizes in it. That document is a good read though, answers my question about adjustable coil overs, does not seem to be anything in there that would suggest that they are illegal.

It is a road worthy requirement to have a tyre placard on your car and they will go off whats on the tyre placard, that said though, i got defected on friday night and he had a good look at my tyres and then was going through a book for a while so i would'nt mind betting that they have a manual full of cars and what size wheels they came with from factory and what they are allowed to have.
