i had it on my N95 as well, now have it on the iphone but dont use it much.
-
Its all about timing, matching road speed and revs to the gear your changing into, makes me laugh to see a couple of people on here saying that its easy cos they double clutch there synchro box with out a problem, not so easy in a non syncho where you only have a few hundred rpm to get everything right or your screwed.
-
An from what i know of a tow truck license there are two types, the hardest one to get is one where you see TOWxxx on the trucks number plates, these are able to attend accidents and tow damaged cars, the other is just a normal rigid license but you are not allowed to tow from accidents, purely car transport. And if you want to add a tow bar and tow a trailer as well then you can do that on a MR or HR as long as the gross of the trailer is 9 ton or less, over 9 ton and you need a HC.
-
MC = multi combination = B double, gotta have a rigid license for 12 months then get a HC = heavy combination = semi then you can get an MC license, defenately more than he needs. Another vic roads nufty that does not know what his talking about, no such thing as a light rigid license, there is only an MR = medium rigid = single axle at the back and HR = heavy rigid = twin axle at the back, with the HR you can get one with the conditions of auto, synchro and non synchro gearbox, non synchro is a lot harder and i have only ever seen 1 rigid with a non synchro box.

http://www.aclperformance.com.au/prod_heatshield.htm That stuff? Will have to look into it, im about to put a 3540 and stainless manifold on my car and want to make up a heat shield that looks factory and covers everything so they cant tell that everything has been changed, im sure a cop will spot it sooner or later but i dont want to make it easy for em
-
How does it work as an antilag device? how quickly will it kill my turbo?
-
wanna swap, i have a nice simple gtst, i'll even throw in the 3540 set up that i cbf putting on atm I think between what happened and trents thoughts i think its time for a new turbo, personaly i think that the lack of oil smoke at start up is because oil is thicker when cold, after warming up it would flow more freely throw worn bearings and seals.

+1 you have a problem some where and an Eboost will not fix the problem.

Thanks for proving my point and making your self look like a tosser.

V35 Skyline English Workshop Manual
W0rp3D replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I have the R33 engine manual 460 pages just for the engine. As for fake sign ups, when there is enough interest they will ask for a certain amount of deposits before the start translating the manual. -

As a conclusion i sent the phone to apple on wednesday the 26th, according to there web site they received it and diagnosed the problem on the 1st and sent out a replacement on the 2nd which i received today (the 4th), when i spoke to them on the phone they said it would be 4-10 days (2-5days each way) and it took 7 (working) days with no charge for postage, in hind sight i probably should have taken it into an apple store but all is good now and i have broken it and restored everything. If any one bricks theres and is worried about apple being able to get it started let me know, i have a device that will kill it instantly and make sure they will never get it started again

Thats his thing, if you dont agree with what he says your a dumb f**king retard, cant argue with stupid so no point replying to him. In another thread he said that i probably drive a POS and cant afford a decent car, a couple of days later he posted up pics of his car LOL if he is making the sort of money he alludes to in this thread he isnt spending it on his car.

The point is why do you call it CTP, its TAC, thats what everyone knows it as so why are you just making it more difficult to understand than it is, your top quote is an perfect example, by that your saying that compulsory third party only covers personal injury, but you go on to say that if you want any other cover you need compulsory third party or full comp through an insurance provider, which if course is not compulsory, although it should be.
-
you cant see the manifold studs with out taking the turbo's off? Im talking about the ones in the head not the turbo ones, although it could be them as well.
-
CTP=compulsory third party, no such thing in vic, didnt bother checking your link as it is from the ACT and we, and this accident, are in VIC.
-
My gtst had a screeching noise which i thought was the turbo, havnt taken anything apart yet but i have notice a couple of exhaust manifold studs are missing, check those first.
-
put it on ebay with no reserve, someone will buy it for a go kart or something, even if you only get $50 its better than nothing. I know a friend who put one of these in his corolla, im sure someone will find a good use for it.
-
That would be my guess, when i split a hose it would still slowly build boost till about 12psi then it would start misfiring and spitting out black smoke, was about 100k's from home so i tried wrapping it in duct tape, didnt work all that well but was enough to get me home.

TAC only covers for personal injury, has nothing to do with property damage.

Fmic Piping Size Queries For Gt3076r Turbo?
W0rp3D replied to anthonymcgrath's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
How much power are you looking for and how much boost are you going to run? The dimensions you mentioned seem ok for a 3076 just replace clamps and joiners if there worn, use the standard tb on the plenum (you can get adaptors on here somewhere) and i would also change the afm for a Z32, unless your going to over 350rwkw then the Q45 is just over kill. -
I can only get to the stores on weekends, unlike last time they have no openings on weekends so i rang apple last night went through all there bullshit and played dumb, they never mentioned that the phone was only replaced a couple of days ago and after i did every thing they asked they said it is definately a hardware problem and i could go to a store for replacement or send it in, the 2 options i had for sending it in was either just send it in and they would send out a new one when they get it or another option i have heard of, you pay $39 and they will send you one and you send yours in when you get the new one, the only catch is that when you pay the $39 you also pay another $800 which they will refund when they receive your phone, i wasnt going to risk them finding the jail break and keeping the $800 so i took the first option, now its just wait and see and hope they are unable to start the phone so they just throw it in a pile with the rest and send a new one, either that or the phone is screwed that any memory has been destroyed, either way just a matter of time now, they said it takes 2-5days for them to receive it and another 2-5 days for me to receive a replacement and they will email me when the old one is received and the new one sent, so if it gets to the end of next week and i have not heard anything then i will start getting worried It wont come up in itunes, nothing works at all, completely dead. Im hoping that they dont try to repair it. This is the last paragraph of the email they sent me after going through all the shit on the phone: You will need to send your IPHONE 3GS to Apple before we can send you a replacement. If you requested service via the Apple website, please use the Apple shipping label that was provided when your service request was confirmed. Otherwise, please go to this webpage, enter ######## in the Repair ID box, and print the shipping label that is generated. Please take the shipping label and your IPHONE 3GS to Australia Post. Do not include any other items, such as headphones or a power adapter, as they will not be returned to you. The Australia Post agent will provide the appropriate packaging and send the product to Apple.
