  1. they only display that if it has the seperate ej1 ecu or other hardware, otherwise its just an lcd screen in the middle of the dash.
  2. probably around 2k for turbo .8rear .5 front, manifold, dump, braided oil feed line and baonjo's with barbs for water feed and return lines.
  3. I have a bolt on 3540 kit here if you want it
  4. Borrowed a friends trailer which has a busted tail light and shitty wiring, both of which will be cheap to fix myself and worth doing as it will come in handy for general tip runs and picking up basic things, it also does not require rego (in vic) the only thing that i would like to do is a cheap paint job to cover up a couple of different colors and probably 20 yrs of stickers, any idea of anything i could use to just go straight over the top with minimal prep work, dont care if it is something that you put on with a brush just needs to look need from a distance.
  5. no, just bought a plug in replacement from kudos, i think it was kudos, for about $75, no stuffing around with rewiring.
  6. the answers to you questions are in this thread, read it.
  7. there also expanding the road towards cranbourne to 3 lanes and adding lanes to the ponud road bridge over the freeway, has taken them more than a month to get where thay are now so expect it to continue for a lot longer than a week.
  8. you need some sau stickers on your car, would have said hi if i new you were on here, also did that isc car end up giving rides, it was coming on and off the track a fair bit, was going to go for a ride but i left my wallet at home, turned out it was a good thing, would have ended up in the ke70 which was struggling to link corners.
  9. Was a good day, some little things annoyed me though, never been to winton before so i didnt realise there was no seating, was there for 5 hours and there was no where to sit, the track is too far away from where you can stand (not much you can do about that i guess) and also the extreme entry comp, the guy on the PA was saying that was judged by the crowd, if so why was there an official near me telling other ppl on the cb that the scores were based on entry speed and clipping point and then after every run they were discussing the score for each? Other than that is was a good day, will remember to take a seat with me next time i go.
  10. would love to go but gotta find some one to come with me, not gonna drive 3 hrs each way on my own
  11. dont know how much, depends on how much they charge per hour, any mechanic should be able to do it, best of finding one that has experience with skylines as it will help with other things in the future.
  12. first thing you need to do is get a compression test done, after that you can think of other things, a compression test is the easiest thing to try atm. If you have a standard ecu and only 4 psi increase it should still be fine, i was running 15 psi on a standard ecu and it wasnt running badly.
  13. i have one but not on the car. although i do have the standard turbo off the car as well, could sit the two together if you like
  14. S14 + RB26DETT sounds good.
  15. Thats pretty low for something that age, ours hasnt been driven for a few years and has around 800,000 on it, we also have an old international that is about to clock over a million and in the 7 yrs i've been there the only major works is a head gasket and gearbox.
  16. the only problem ours had was the snapping of studs but that could have been turbo heat related, as yours is not a turbo it may be fine, also this is only one, isuzu are known to make a reliable truck, any jap trucks are usually ok as long as they are maintained properly, how many k's has it done?
  17. lol@ the company name. We have one of these isuzu's (or one that looks pretty the same) at work, it had lots of problems with snapping exhaust manifold and turbo studs, even after everything was pulled off and decked, dont know if ours was a lemon or its a common problem, it now sits in a paddock. I see it already has a tow ball so you can add a tandem and carry 2 cars at once, the point about low cars is a good one but im your you could use another set of ramps to flatten the incline a little. Do you already have a connection in the industry to get work through, that would be the biggest decider, if the works there then why not.
  18. will heater hose do or is there a particular hose better suited to something so close to the turbo and manifold? the on mine that has split (im assuming its the same one) comes from the manifold to the turbo, when i changed my turbo i dont remember there being a sump bracket there, mine has split the rubber hose, its only about 3 or 4" long and goes around the rear drivers side corner of the block.
  19. so you would pay about 800k more because it has a better top speed that you will probably never reach? Also i think the gtr looks better, but if you need a phalic symbol then the veyron is for you.
  20. well there ya go, they have changed shit again, looks like its basically the same as an MR but less weight and you cant tow a trailer, also now you have to have had a car license for 2yrs before you can get an HR license. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licenc...ecategories.htm
  21. care to elaborate?
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FM-Transmitter-Car-...=item518f472a71 No hammer
  23. series 1-3 RX7, or an AE86, handling on both are awesome, the rx7 is the better handling standard.
