  2. What that post should read is "im having trouble selling it need it gone quickly willing to post to vic if buyer organises transport". Ready, set, REPOST!!
  3. Just remember that most of the cars that come from japan have had the clocks wound back or the dash changed so you never really know how many k's they have on them. Mine had just under 200,000k's when i got it, 20,000 later and a lot of abuse from a hi flow wound up to 17psi its starting to show signs or wear, if i was you if everything looks good (rust, interior, hanging panels and general over all condition) get a thorough check done on it and go from there, these engines with a turbo on them has been proven to handle the k's if well looked after, no reason why you cant find a good high k one for cheaper.
  4. I think he was very lucky, i also dont think he would have sold for any where near 14k, especially since it had been for sale for 4.5months and he only had one person look at it.
  5. Are you willing to ship to vic?
  6. Shut up karnt no need for logic here, take it over to NS where they REALLY REALLY need some. Dont listen to him, he talks too much truth and should be banned for using common sense to come to a rational conclusion.
  7. I believe the front brakes on a non turbo are the same size as the rears on a turbo so you can see the braking difference. I was thinking of selling mine, has all usual bolt ons including hi flow and power fc, i wouldnt expect to get much over 10k for it, an atmo, you not getting near that. I have decided to put some more money into it and take it to next level, might be worth thinking of doing this your self, gtst brakes are not overly expensive and if you turbo your NA it would be a nice upgrade for very little outlay, also you will have the bonus of having better low end (off boost) power due to the higher compression, once you get use to the power it will just be a matter of buying a turbo block and dropping that in since you already have changed the bolt ons.
  8. Some street drifting to learn by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DsAcNUkpco...feature=related
  9. I agree, even if it was proven to be the worst thing ever they would not scrap it because the government would then have to admit that they wasted tax payers money on some thing that didnt work.
  10. A cheaper option is just to turbo your atmo engine, if your not look for huge power then that might be your best bet, have a search plenty of people have done it and are happy with it, i think there may even be a thread in the tutorial section.
  11. Atleast you actually used the search function. Your an idiot. Your an idiot.
  12. If it does they will either change it or find a loop hole. It wont happen over night but it will happen.
  13. Nice first post brian. Try putting a thread in the wanted section.
  14. Ever heard the phrase "shit happens"?
  15. From frankston its a bit over 3 hours, so thats 6hrs to get there and back, i believe with the even with scrutineering and everything else is pretty much an 8hr day, thats 14 hrs, if you have to organise a tow truck back to frankston that makes it even more time and a lot more $$, and if you cant get one your screwed. Where if we could get something going at calder, sandown or phillip island it would be a lot more user friendly. Still want to buy and old boxy corolla and turn that into a fun drift/track car, then it wont be so much of a hassle, but still its a 14hr day plus all the shit in the days leading up.
  16. Exactly. There is lots of various topics on here relating to everything from chuppa chuck and reverse kanga's to the royal family, plenty of entertainment there but at the end of the day when you need some hard facts or how to's about any model skyline, thats here some where as well. And dodgy commodores.
  17. Now you just need to hold them closer to town, winton as way too far, especially for some one like me who wants to drive there have fun and drive home, a tow truck back from winton is just not an option.
  18. And include discount rwc's
