  1. did this possibly come from ebay? i was eyeing one off over the weekend. id never seen one for a 32. only the s chassis. good buy non the less.
  2. any one. go to msct.com.au and have a look around.
  3. i know its like every thing its up to your individual feal and i can see you like throwing a big knob. (lol)
  4. Some say it took steve the roofer half a pack of ciggies to make that. hes still got 1/2 a parcel shelf. 2 doors and 2 rear quarter bits to go. it is however far better than ben or i could do as ben cuts stuff out worse than a pre-schooler and i cbf'ed
  5. people do say that. and they also say you smash boxes far more easily with them as well. but from my own experiance we run ebay short shifters in 1 tarmack rally car. rb20 box. one circuit car rb20 box and my drift car rb25 box. my box has had one in it for over 3 years and never had an issue. its each to their own as always but i competed in a mates 32 recently and i kept missing gears as they felt all over the place mainly 2nd to 3rd.
  6. that looks like a long bit of track simon. i think a short shift kit would be good for you. your shifter has a longer throw than a mack truck.
  7. hey mate out of the cams callender 4th hill climb at highclere up the NW 5th motorkhana at symmons plains thats all the tarmac stuff. if your back before dec 28th nov is the last round of the tas super series at basky.
  8. if id drunt they would have been on upside down. or duck taped to my face. which ever came first.
  9. Friday night super special resulted in this. this is a donor GTR bar ready for hectic modding. and ive finaly finished the front work wheels. last part i was waiting on was getting all the bolts Zink coated. and while i was waiting i sparyed all the nuts matte black to match the rear. the bolts had to be acid dipped twice to get the Zink to stick and to my plesant surprise the acid dipping revealved work writing on the. you can reall see in these pic thoe. from this to this now to get tyres fitted and try them on. then remover and repeat for the rears.
  10. do you happen to have a drain pipe to suit a r32 or33 stock turbo?
  11. photos are way to big ben. ive gone over my download limit just loading one page. homo So every one. Ben is searching for a oil drain pipe to suit his rb20 turbo. if you have one please let hime know. he has $100 waiting for one.
  12. i like the lines. neat and tidy i say. braided hose gets messy fast and rubbes on stuf like crazy. i like the whole project so far.
  13. hey mate the arms are looking good. what brand of coilovers are you going to? have you mainly gone down the custom arm route to get rid of your binding issues?
  14. Pfffffffffffffftttttttttttt. r33 brakes arent worth looking at. i actiualy have r34 gtt brakes for any one that may have miss read it. good upgrade.
  15. for sure. still at the new house. i think you have been there once before. most friday nights we have a drinks night if you want to pop over and talk crap
  16. well you told me to meet your sister there. i dint realise it was a TRAP
  17. Update for my own car. brought a turbo and manifold today. second hand off some dodgy bloke i know. said it was like new and stuff. anyway its in the GT30 range. no one really cares. what does matter is ill have Gate soon enough. hahaha manifold looks like this. for the haters, yes its a T4 flange with a T3 adapter. I had a ebay special a while back and the runner size and quality is much grater than the ebay job. this manifold also takes the Tial 44mm Vband gate or turbo smart 45mm Vband. Tial have just relised a water cooled version of the 44mm gate but i dont think ill be trying to over complicate the setup just yet. also after many weeks waiting for a parcel all the way from Melbourne i got these. RB20 red top cam covers. after seeing them used in a workshops demo car in HPI a while ago these became cooler than smashing the back out of a 18yo. i got these at the right price but im not sure if they are somthing ill use or on sell. my current cam covers have Mines style cam baffeles welded in them. you cant buy a direct fit part so i had a look at the design and figured it wansnt to hard to emulate using the rb25det covers. all in all its a good days buying. haha.
  18. im happy that this thread has brought out some insight and different aspects of cooling. so some say make the air go out the top. some say make it go out the bottom. i guess its just what ever works as a tried and tested setup.
  19. $145 they will look good on my mums carolla.
  20. yea im onto that but the car we were running the bonnet on on the weekend had to have the bonnet spaced to fit over gay ass cooler piping. previously on my own car ive never ran spacers.

theres on for sale in the tas section of NS.com
  22. year right. ive seen good results using the acl stuff so ill grab some of that. its cheap to.
  23. nothing really. it was more just like radiant heat soak from no ventilation at all.
  24. common mate youve had them for sale for over 24hrs now. a mate of mine once got a set of ebay for 10 bux. they were for a pushbike but hey.
  25. nope. what is good ceramic coating worth these days and where the best place to get it done? id never thought about it that way. so the air coming in through the rad escapes throught the front of the bonnet meaning no air flows throght the rest of the engine bay? and we also had the bonnet spaced up to clear the cooler piping so that didnt help. do you have any pictures of how you used the? did you use them to duct cold air into a particular spot. or for removing hot air? what things in particular did you cool with them?
