VCT not working should effect the top end power figure. Why is the timing on boost so low?

As far as i know the vct is activated by grounding the wire that goes to the ecu

I have something on the go aswell was just hoping your's was finished before mine. Using an Amtel processor, reading RPM signal from ecu it will the ground the VTC wire. Also looking at at using it as a boost controller and a datalogging device to send real time data via serial

Just grabbed a compressed air can from work. We use them to clean out PC's from mine sites ill give the sensor a spray and re calibrate it

Yeah i did do the calibration, I might do it again. I did do 1 stupid thing tho i had the wideband sensor pluged into the exhaust for alittle while while i was first sorting the bugs in my new system, but it was not wired up. Would this kill the sensor? So basically the calibration was done on a dirty sensor

Tightening the bolts could possibly cause the CAS to move. Saying that you shouldn't have had to tighten them thats there job

Ok I think i have fixed the dump pipe leak but still getting a lean afr but have moved into the mid-hight 16's. Gonna start checking for vacume leaks.

Stao, How much to build me the external wastgate housing for my ATR28G4 including the wastegate? Also shouldnt the gate be at a more friendly angle to the exhaust gas?

Vacume hoses all look fine will start replacing them over time anyway. Will also hook up stock bov any one know a place nor that will weld hospital grade stainless, and not charge $50 for a tiny job?

O2 sensor was replaced just before i purchased the car around 5 months ago. Car currently has no BOV. I though the VTA BOV was causing the stall originally so i removed it

Stall was also happening when there was a venting BOV. I have a stock BOV laying round i might get a fitting welded to my intake pipe and hook her up. I dont think this will fix the problem but i have been told by hypergear to put a bov on my car

Stalling issue has been present since I purchased the car. Only stalls when I am changing gear and the revs are allowed to drop. It's doesn't happen every time and changing gear really quick is my current work around. Car also started having an irregular idle bouncing around with out any throttle. I had seen this before on my old r32 so I figured it was simply the acc valve. My AFM also would occasionally cut out since i replaced the turbo. Figured removing the AFM had knocked it around and cause dry solder joints. Soldered the AFM, removed ACC valve and emptied a heap of carbie cleaner on it. Erratic idle problem fixed and no more afm cut out but the stalling issue is still there. Before anyone asks i used to have an external venting BOV but it was removed during my turbo installed and am currently not running any BOV. Any ideas on what is going on?

Wideband cable shouldn't be the problem it dosn't appear to be getting hot. I will check out an exhaust leak being the problem. Does anybody use exhaust joiner paste when connecting turbo and dump via vband?

Sorry but this just seams strange to me whats the point of a 10psi actuator if the turbo can't manage to do anything under 15psi? Stock turbo wastegate flap has a hell of a lot of movement compared to this one.

Why not got an NA GTS4 and drop an rb26 in. AWD auto for the wife. RB26 auto launching power for your self.
