I was going to say something rash. A member of my family has had been assaulted and her car vandalised by an ex-con who was locked up for stealing cars. I just wanted foamers spin on this, wanted him to justify why this guy was such an angle, but I realised I was taking my anger out on the wrong person.

And im still glad they died, car theifs are scum, and if it was within the limits of the law, id kill each and every one of them. Some people cannot be redeemed and should never be let out of jail. To steal shows your true character, to gang up on a single person with weapons also shows they were cowards. This might seem extreem to you and others here, but lets face it: How many car theifs go on to win the nobel peace prize? How many wind up say, contributing to preventing world hunger? How many do anything productive with there lives? Im sure theres one or two exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, once a theif, always a theif. Funny isnt it, that if said motorist had happened to have a baseball bat at hand, and he clubbed them over the head, it would be him going to jail. As to old mate the 14 year old... Is that what you meant to say? Because it sounds like it. I dont see how one lead to the other, it was the kids choice to rob the store. And I dont see how his fathers actions should be an excuse. Another fine example of a criminal getting a slap on the wrist. Bring back the axe, I dont care, I dont steal, I dont hurt anyone, I follow the law. Yet the system seems to have its priorities all mixed up. I pay a shitload of tax's and what do I see? Useless members of society eating up all thoes dollars for so little return. What do I get? Nothing. Prehaps if the system dealt with these cases more harshly, old matey wouldnt have robbed the store in the first place?

This raised the stakes to being life and death, they got death, there own stupid fault, good fu**ing riddence. It is because of people like you that we see thugs and theifs and general scum getting chance after chance after chance from the courts with slap after slap on the wrist but never any real action taken, until one day they kill someone. You are the problem with the justice system, you are why its impotent, you are why it fails so often. Think about what sort of people it takes to, in a premeditated fashion (If it was a single person I could believe it may have been heat-of-the-moment, but to work together requires some sort of planning), select a single vunerable person and take what he has worked hard to achieve purely out of jealousy in a blantant disregard for the law and the basic set of rules which make up civilization. To do this you need to be pretty much at the pond-scum level, society is better off without these two loosers, good ridence and I hope they realised that it was there own stupidity that got them killed the moment before the truck hit them. No sympthay for them, nor for their families. If the parents were piss-poor enough to raise these two then they dont deserve it, if there partners (if they had any) were stupid enough for fall for them, same again. The only exception is any children they had, however the apple never falls far from the tree, so prehaps by some twist, this might actually enable the kids to grow up to be reasonable people. However at 18 and 20, I doubt they had offspring, but you never know with these low-life scum types. I feel sorry only for the owner of the car.

Any reason why if its crashed we couldnt just have the whole motor? Or even better, the motor and gearbox to be transplanted into an open-wheeler. Think of a 450 kg car with 360 odd kw....

sigh police are useless unless someones speeding or killing someone. Take your pick, they seem to give each equal priority. If someone isnt dead or there isnt a lisence in danger then from what I have heard and seen they generally just take the note down on scrap paper, destined for the bin.

...may as well sell the skyline and buy a barina hey? Thats what their ultimate aim here is. Maybe itd be smarter to get out early.

what size are you after? they quoted me $110 a tyre for 235/45/17 when I was there last, but I wanted 245/45/17 which I paid $180 for.

id like to get HID's for my foglights. I wounder what bulb they are...

Good prices on tyres yes, tho I wouldnt jump over the moon about them on other matters. There a drift workshop, and come with all the inherent flaws of a drift workshop. But all workshops have good and bad stories, this isnt the place or the time to get into them.

If only I could drift... But drifting isnt really the GTR's forte

my GTR has the N1 front lights in it, the ones with low and high beam using the same bulb and driving/fog lights in the middle... If I was to fit HID's to my car, would this be a problem? (running high and low through the same bulb that is - all high beam seems to do is increase the power to the bulb)

Hmm, its possible, who knows. The cop I spoke to at the police station I went to did spend alot of time looking up the cars rego. In any case however, im sure reporting it to police and posting it here didnt hurt. I know if my car was abandoned on the side of the road without my knowledge while I was say staying at my girlfriends house, id like to know about it. We probably will never know the story behind that car. As its now gone, this thread can be closed... Would one of the mods be so kind? Thanks Ian

GoGo QLD police Car has had some money spent on it, inc custom plates, someone loved this thing, so why would they leave it there, in a easy to find place, with the window down? I reckon the cops just havent followed up on it at all.
