Intrested in a swap? Let me know your terms and I may be intrested. Not selling at the moment but if the price was right I might be keen: I have a 32 GTR with the following mods: 150 xxx KMS Engine: R34 N1 steel wheel turbos - fairly new, under 20 000 kms - currently running 1 BAR HKS Dumps Blitz tuned-length front-pipes HKS 3.5" Catback JustJap Oil cooler + filter relocator SARD pod filters Drivetrain and Suspension: NPC 6 puk clutch Tein Coilovers Cusco Upper Control arms Unknown Castor arms (came on the car) Nismo (I think) Strut Brace front 595SS tyres Blitz 2 piece wheels Electronics: Apexi Power-FC computer Blitz ID3 Boost controller Ruzic Engineering "Track Master" tuneable/programable AWD torque split controller Breaks: DBA Slotted + Dimpled front rotors DBA Slotted rear rotors EBC Red Stuff Pads all round - less then 10 000 kms Other: Several grand worth of maintaince recently carried out, alot of things like Tie Rod ends, control arms, CV boots etc were replaced and car now handles *very* well, espically in the hands of someone who knows how to drive it properly (It has a unique style of driving due to the current program on the torque split controller, however this is easily changed) - car currently drives without missing a beat. Gearbox oils were recently replaced as well, Redline Shockproof was used in the box itself, gearbox drives without a problem and doesnt miss a beat. Negatives: Cars bodywork could be better, fairly straight however one rust patch and a few scratchs in the paint. Rust is on rear passanger wheel arch and can be repaired for $300 - $350 - rust is non structural. There is also a frayed patch on the drivers seat where my bum rubs against it when I get in and out. The cars a fighter, not a lover, basically. With a fule pump and injectors, it will see 300 kw's and turbos are very responsive. Car has impressive power and torque already from 3k all the way to 8. Should currently be good for low - mid 12's. Currently running 14.7 PSI on standard fule setup, injector duty is mid 80's and knock is never above 30. Great base if you want to track the car, car is setup for handling not outright straight line speed, however its certainly not slow.

Hi all I have found a abandoned skyline, I wont say what type, or where on the northside, but I have reported it to police and they are looking into it. If you have lost a skyline RECENTLY (found tonight - car seems fairly intact, possibly a joyride? Definatly abandoned.) please post here what type, if it match's ill PM you with more details. I dont want to say more incase I tip someone off that the police may be onto them. However I am posting this beacuse while the police seemed intrested in what I have to say, the QLD police's track record with this stuff isnt great. Thanks Ian

They stick out like a dogs balls. Not only that, but the marker lines that you drive over are very visable. Id say they are a good way to gauge speed in the camera, to make it very difficult to take to court - they seem to be in 50 cm incriments with every few meters marked, eg: _ - - - - _ so when they take the photo, they can say photo taken at X time, and since detection your vehicle had moved X distance to cover X amount of lines on the road, therefore you were traveling at X speed Which chucks the calibration arguement down the potty...

Damaged R32 Gt-r For Sale
IanB replied to and_r32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
If you decide to part it off: How much for the brembos? What sort of condition are they in. Also, if your intrested, we could prehaps do a deal for a swap with my standard R32 GTR callipers with cash your way to allow you to still get RWC. -
No, these are the standard R34 turbo. I have a set of 34 N1's on my car that I would sell if the price if right however (would have to be worth me pulling them off my car and sticking the standard R34's back on). They have never seen more then 15 PSI and have done less then 20k kms.

bump, still for sale

I got a tune by richo, I wasnt overly impressed, the tune was safe but strange things started happening after it, his service wasnt up to scratch and when I had issues with various things I rang up a couple of times, the first time he told me the PFC was shit and I should just go to another ECU (after he did the tune he told me this mind you) and the second time I got someone else and was told he would ring me back, but never did. Also, we dyno'd it on the stock ECU when I rolled in, I rolled out with a 6 kw decrease in power with the power-FC.

more info on the 1 km/h statements? Are you all sure they dont just mean its accurate to within 1 km/h? The lidar guns are accurate to 2 km/h as are the mobile vans, and in dash are 2km/h stationary and 3km/h moving, but they dont ping until higher speeds?
-
I want GPS coordinates for them all... Also does anyone have more info on these 1km/h tolerances? Its not that i wouldn't believe it, but 1 km/h is a bit gestapo, I guess I just want to see it for myself, and all google is giving me is more forum talk about it, no solid quotes... I am woundering if its just the transport minister using scare-tactics?

To be expected. Promote the new japanese superweapon on a yankee redneck car website, and this is what will happen.

[consipiracy_theroy] the scare tank is working overtime on this one, the goverment has all the today-tonight types worked up about this as they need some group or another to make a target of, and this one happens to also generate lots of revenue. [/consipiracy_theroy]

driving home from willowbank last night A electronic sign told me i was speeding and that if I was caught I would be fined $100 and 1 point (I was sitting on the limit, or maybe 5 over) I was tempted to go back and see how high I could get it to go.... but thats cause id just come from willowbank and had the need for speed in my veins

clutch is under 2000 km's old, has done about 15 - 20 launchs. Its a 6 puck button with I think 3800 lbs preassure? pics:

Hi all I recently had a new clutch installed and I have run into traction problems out at the strip. I am getting off the line okayish with no wheel spin (6+ grand launchs, and im doing a burnout first with a 2wd/4wd switch so im confident AWD is working to a degree) however on my 1st -> 2nd and 2nd -> 3rd im getting bad wheel spin. My power is about 260 awkw. Im questioning why my wheels are spinning (or at least I think they are, the car is going from 5k to 8k until I get off the throttle then back on again) and if it is possible for, under power, the rear wheels to spin faster then the front wheels? I also dont think its my clutch as its fairly new, and its able to compression lock the rear wheels as I slow down at the end of the track. Additionally, it may have something to do with attesa not being bled properly. When it was bled last time, my mechanic said there was normally a yellow "bleed" wire at the back which he could not find. As a result he used a airgun to preassurise the system and force fluid through that way - the AWD system works still so I dont think hes broken anything, however there is a large bubble in the middle of my fluid tank at the back - its the strangest thing I have seen in a while. There is a deposit of fluid at the bottom about 4 cm high, then a 3 cm bubble, then the rest of the fluid. When you turn the ignition on the pump can be heard and the bubble gets smaller. We tried out best to get rid of this bubble and we could not do it. What is required? Do you need photos? I will provide them later on tonight. I also have one of Paul Ruzic's AWD torque split controllers fitted and can feel this working in corners which leads me to believe that the AWD system is working to a degree. Thanks for your help in advance Cheers Ian

Cops are useless, its a known fact, ive spoken to several ex cops who say the police force is there only as a deterant and cant actually do much at all. Very fkn smart with the fuse on the siren / fule pump! note to self, will do this.

and god help plod if they ever are...

Chasing $350 for the injectors, $150 for the pump. Plans for Cams fell through as I dont have the cash to buy them just yet. Parts are still in car and will have to be removed prior to sale.
