That blue one is ugly as sin, looks like a soccer mums car, id never buy one, i'll take my 17 year old GTR thanks...... and 0 - 100 in the 6 second bracket? Thats slow as!!! Not. A. Fan. Man, I hope subaru takes note of what ppl r saying around the world... http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2007/04/04/subMH_m.jpg That also looks, well, better then that other ugly POS but still, rex's have gone to the dogs.

    Drag Strip Pb's

Best overall Timeslip: //Update - I ran a 12.93 on this same setup a while back, will see what the new one gets... Car: R32 GTR Turbo: Twin R34 GTR stockers Date:06/04/07 Time: 7:37 pm Output in rwkw:210 Track:Willowbank Air Temp: 18 degrees, Intake temps at the manifold were 42 degrees solid all night. Intercooler is clogged chock full of bugs since I washed the car over 2 months ago... Track Temp:30 degrees Humidity: 72% Reaction time: 0.721 60ft:2.107 330ft:5.784 660ft:8.859 1000ft:11.465 ET:13.643 MPH:103.69 Comments Other times of note that night: Highest MPH was 104.41, reaction went down steadily and on my last run was 0.484, best 60ft was 2.102 and worst was 2.187, other two times of the night was a 13.690 and a 13.678, so ever run was a 13.6 which is quite consistant. DYOT events here I come! Tyres were dodgy street tyres id fu*ked at QR the week before and boost was bone stock, so with a bit of boost and good tyres I should see some lower 13's. Runs were against a holden v8 with lots of work which destroyed me running an 11 however I still ran my pb, tim's (booosted33) R33 GTST and a factory bone-stock XR8 which i beat by 1.569 seconds.
  6. I have stock shocks, stock rotors and other stock bits, i will keep an eye on this thread for later on.
  7. Yarr! indeed, ran a 13.6, was heading that way to pick steph up first. Nice Car man, even if it did increase global warming with you gunned it off the lights there , I really like the blue wish mine was blue
  8. im keen but cant pay till next month. Also need new tyres and an oil cooler, this should be sorted by then however.
  9. Well I just got back from willowbank, no rain, was a good solid fun night, ran 3 runs all of them 13.6 every time on my shitty tyres. Get some good tyres and get my boost controller in and I should be set for a low 13 or a high 12.
  10. 32 GTR's have ABS so I can imagine 33's do as well. Hey noel, is it raining out that way? Theres a test n tune on tonight...
  11. Having seen this car and been in it it is a beautiful car, absolutly shmick. Sad to see you go dude, I was hoping youd get thoes install-days you were talking about going.
  12. GTR box's are awd.... have 2 driveshafts spinning doing a whole lot of fu*k all?
  13. haha indeed, makes sense on second thoughts. 24.5 cm between rim and ground, drag spec! haha. So by changing the 245 to 235 are they stretching the wheel? And by going to 255 does it then bulge out a bit from the rim?
  14. Hi all I have 245/45/17 and everywhere I ring cant find tyres of that size, so what else will fit? will 240/45/17 fit? From what I understand the 240 bit is in mm between the ground and the rim, right? so decreasing that number just makes the tyre slightly thinner? Will say a 255 / 35 / 17 fit? Thanks Ian
  15. Im the newbie in all of this, it was my first day on the track and I didnt exactly rate highly, but IMO a "street car" is exactly that, a car you can drive straight off the track and home without any sort of work, which is exactly what i did and what I would expect any "street car" to do - stripped out with roll cages and a single seat, no heater, stereo, etc etc etc is NOT street trim, no cop in his right mind would allow it to continue driving if he saw it, its a race-preped car pure and simple. That being said, I was never there to win any prizes and I just wanted to have a blast and have some fun, which I did, so I dont really care who was in what class. Paul ran an excellent event and I cant fault him at all, just my opinion is a street car is a street car in street trim, capable of being driving right through the gate straight up to the starting line with a minimal amount of f**king around (read: cleaning boot and shit out of car + spare wheel) then back out the gate and straight to the shopping center or something like that. Feh. Just my 2c, great day either way.
  16. any tyre shop should be able to do it, bob janes sponsors the club I think... Or at least there supposed to

  18. where can we go to get pics for these? The other threads dont have any...
  19. I have a broken nokia slide phone - cant remember the model name, the screen is dammaged but phone works perfectly, one of the newer ones with the large screen and buttons, screen slides upwards to open up to the keypad, I also have a completly working LG u8138, will trade them both for a new phone, preferably nokia, with possible cash adjustment your way. Will find model of broken nokia tomorrow and post it here. Or, you can have them both, make an offer, if its enough to signifigantly cover the purchase of a new phone ill probobly take it.
