For my part I did the main Anzac day parade in brisbane city today, was my 3rd anzac day march. This year I was gun-crew in one of the macs pulling the M198's (huge-ass gun on wheels). It was good to see so many kids getting involved with it this year (we had kids coming up giving us drinks, asking for photos, we had a troop of cub-scouts want to be shown the trucks). Ill see if I can scab some photos/short vids off steph and post them up.

God damnit... Still no oil preassure... Does anyone know how long ud have to crank an engine with a oil cooler just added before itll show preassure on the engine?

revhead has made a pretty valid point in saying the car may have been sold - also why is this being posted now and not months ago when it happened? When stuff like this happens gang mentalities should be avoided as it can lead to trouble. It should be between the cops and the parties directly involved.

hold on, which way does oil flow through a filter? From the middle out of from outside to the middle??? I think I might have the way oil flows through a filter all f**ked up...

no, I dont think it is working properly. As it is, it will be feeding oil to the middle gallery on the adaptor plate / block which simply cant be right - also cranking the engine hard for quite some time gets no oil preassure and the oil light stays on, then again its a bit low on oil now as I lost some in the process and have to top it up. Ill prime all the oil lines by pouring the oil into the filter plate until it doesnt flow anymore then fill the engine up, then crank the engine and see what happens.

No shane, if I swap the lines around on the filter or the block then oil will come out into the outside gallery - at the moment its piped up like in that diagriam and its coming up the *inside* gallery which is what has me perplexed!

See diagriam shane. If I swapped it round so that the lines were the other way round on the block then it would come out of the cooler and not the filter.

Shane what? That doesnt make sense, it cant be. The oil is coming from the OUTER gallery on the block then going to the INNER gallery on the filter, that cant be right. The reason I did this is because it was the only way I could get it to go to the filter before it went to the cooler! I would of thought that they would be mirrors of each other, the relocator and the filter plate.

The police have everything they need to deal with this bloke, its up to them as to what path they wish to take. Hes never done anything to me or most people here so we should leave it be until he does.

Hi all I have recently fitted my oil cooler to my 32 GTR however something is not right. Originally I hooked the lines up as such: Inner Gallery on Block to Inner Gallery on Filter Relocator Out Gallery on Relocator to Cooler Cooler to Outer Gallery on Block this resulted in oil coming up through the cooler into the outer gallery on the relocator (wtf?) So after much ado and confusion and checking and rechecking, I in the end hooked the lines up as such: Outer Gallery on Block to Inner gallery on Relocator Outer Gallery on Relocator to Cooler Cooler to Inner Gallery on Block This has resulted in oil coming up through the inner gallery of the filter, where its supposed to come from AFAIK. What is confusing me is that oil seems to be flowing the wrong way out of the block??? The oil is coming out of the outer gallery on the block which is just plain strange. Is this how its supposed to be? Am I a dumbass? Can anyone provide any insight? Thanks Ian
