  1. You can dial some of the extra camber out with camber tops, but how much extra camber and extra track are we talking here?
  2. R32 fits, you have to modify the horn connection a bit, not really that difficult, I have one on mine
  3. I like it, looks like almost like autech, but more sportier.
  4. Correct it is a measure of octane rating, but that is a measure of how much compression it can handle before knocking occurs. High octane fuels aren't just for racing or performance, generally they are also more refined (cleaner for your engine). As said, the engine was designed for higher octane fuels, so don't use regular (91) or premium (95) if you can help it.
  5. I couldn't get the R32 front pipe to fit my cefiro, though I had what looks like to be a homemade dump pipe.
  6. This one always gets a laugh from me Wan's Skyfiro
  7. I think I'll go with Wonders new kit, I think it's called shadow.
  8. That is correct, the front half of the R32 tailshaft won't bolt onto the rear half of the A31/C33 because the hub diameters on the uni-joints are different size. So after you have undone the 4 bolts on each tailshaft and you have them separated you will notice there is a giant nut on the inside of the hub. You need to undo that nut and swap the hubs over so that you end up with cefiro rear half, both cefiro joints and R32 front half. Alternatively, source an A31/C33 manual tailshaft, have a custom 1 piece made up, have the R32 tailshaft lengthened.
  9. *Thinks about getting a GTR copy front bar and cut/paste onto my autech copy bar.
  10. Maybe we should add this to the interchangable parts list.
  11. I found mine fouled the bonnet if I didn't cut the rubber mounts down a little, but either way, it was only a couple millimeters difference.
  12. Yep otherwise you'll end up with a sacked cefiro if you use s13 springs, so they need to be heavier rated.
  13. I think you should find pictures because i haven't seen one or heard of one, but I wouldn't mind one.
  14. should be fine in side cap
  15. R33 diff will fit, but you'll need the mounting bracket and have to swap the backing plates over.
  16. Handbrake, use cefiro handbrake cables and joiner, use R32 lever and bracket (have to grind or drill off spot welds where the bracket attaches to R32 floorpan). Or if you can find it, A31/C33 lever and bracket. You can either chop up your center console to fit, or get a manual A31/C33 console. Switch on handbrake lever connect to plug above brake pedal (where the old footbrake switch used to connect to). Reverse lights, there is a plug on the fuse box with 7 pins, one for each gear (1,2,D,N,R,P) and 12V+. Use a multimeter to find the 12V+ and a piece of wire to touch against the other pins, find the pin for the reverse lights/beeper. Connect the 2 wires from the reverse switch on the manual gearbox to these two wires.
  17. Is this a cefiro specific mount? I say this because factory auto and factory manual cefiros have different floorpan, so a manual box in a factory auto cefiro needs to use an S13 manual gbox mount and not the cefiro manual mount... for those people who have manual converted cefiros.
  18. Aight, well I sold my R32 brakes last night, and I have my R33 brakes here, just waiting for a mate to get the discs redrilled, then I'll be seeing for myself how it is
  19. Are these units Cefiro/Laurel specific? Or would you be able to use an R32 or S13 unit.
  20. I also read somewhere else that even though the R33 is still called BM44 that the piston diameter was smaller than the R32 BM44?
  21. Ah yes, I found this info the other day but I couldn't remember where. Do you have a link to the page (was something like a writeup about some guy doing the 33GTR brembo caliper conversion on his S13. As for the $530 brake master, I think it would be cheaper to just fit the corresponding brake master (in this case, the R33 GTST) and then have the brake lines modified to fit. Hell, for the savings made on the BMC, you could probably have completely brand new lines made to fit.
  22. At the moment I'm using a BM44 with the R32 calipers, I guess I'll just have to wait until I have the R33 calipers on then make a decision about whether I need to upgrade.
  23. From what I understand R33GTST requires bending of the brake lines to fit, I don't know how much bending (I can use a pair tube benders if I need to, but I don't want to have to get new custom lines made up) And I was thinking R32 GTR, but weren't they all equipped with ABS? (Master cylinders only have 2 outlets for ABS) If 32GTR came out without ABS then I think that would be the brake master to get.
  24. Hey people, I'm about to purchase myself a set of front and rear R33 calipers/discs, and from what I understand the R33 uses a BM50 as opposed to the R32 (current calipers and master cylinder) being a BM44. So my question is, does the BM50 fit the same as S13/A31/R32 master cylinders, if not is it as simple as borrowing a pair of tube benders? Or would it require custom brakes lines? Or is there an alternative (Z32 brake master?) that will fit with no modification? Or are people just using the R32 BM44 with their R33 brakes? thanks.
