Yup, the new one has rounded off taillights and a nicer front end that doesn't look like a maxima hehe It would have also been an Auto I've been waiting forever for the manuals to be approved

I just have to say about the mac thing. We have them at work and they are a stupid interface, sure there's a fancy scroll menu and a sleek casing but that's about it. It's like the Iphone, they got all caught up in making it sooooo trendy they forgot to put in a function to forward text messages. "Oh but I have so many applications blah blah" "can you send me a picture or forward on a message?" "....Look I can have a LIGHTSABER BATTLE!" I hate Apple and everything it stands for, back on topic I feel the same way about Honda

If I wanted to see 2 d*ckheads flying around in a failcon and a commonwhore All I'd need to do is sit on my front porch for 2 minutes!

V36 370gt
Yo-Yo replied to WazR32GTSt's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
the guys at img motors in sydney told me they should have a manual version in the country for emissions testing as early as november, if they go ahead with that does that mean the manuals will be open slather for importing/compliancing? -
only what was emailed to me which was that and the 2 auction pics. Going by the pics it clearly has the larger 19" wheels and bigger brakes, meaning it's the sp which is basically top of the line variant in the manual. Again, either he sent the wrong auction sheet to me by accident or on purpose thanks again
-
just had a look again at the sheet it seems to say 370 gt(?)sp S, now i'm confused hehe
-
Thanks Beau, You're a legend mate, It's meant to be the manual test car coming in for compliancing, might buy it. Thanks for the heads up about the dent and scratches. You mentioned type s? the pics the guy sent me (2 auction pics) had the larger wheels and brakes indicating an SP variant, either I'm having my leg pulled or he attached the wrong auction sheet

I Dont Know What One To Get
Yo-Yo replied to Thanks Japan For Nissan's topic in General Automotive Discussion
R34 being the newer model will have a better chassis, and having owned both an r33 and r34 and the same would go for non turbo models. The 34 will be a much more rewarding ownership in my opinion, nicer seating position and improved driving feel overall. Don't quote me but I think the r34 n/a will have 5 stud wheels as opposed to an r33's 4 stud, a big plus for the r34 if you plan on getting some rims my 2c, good luck mate -
It was morpheine I think...

+1 L's = passed first go red P's= ^ greens= ^ Full = ^ my reds was piss easy, 15 mins max and did the reverse park, parallel and 3 point. The $200 must've been a bit of a sting, but you'll know what to expect for next time. Good luck!

I keep saying to myself, hang in for another few episodes. Force yourself to watch it may get better... Then at the end the main host said they'd be doing ford v holden... Do I really want to watch?

It really does depend on the workshop, their skill level and how much work they've got at the time, and also whether the parts used came from a good mould and how much, if any, customisation is needed for the pieces to fit. For eg. My old R33 I did each bodykit piece in stages rather than all at the same time, more due to availability of the parts I wanted as I mixed and matched kit pieces. Frontbar took 4 days for a paint and fit, sideskirts went on a week later as they had to make them from the mould as none were in stock rear bar two weeks later as I finally decided which one I wanted. At all times I ordered the piece, they painted it and I drove to the shop to get it fitted, I had an old spoiler I removed so they could paint match the pieces without needing my car there. Painting would take about 3-4days, then I could come in get it fitted on the same day To do what you want with custom fenders, I'm guessing the front fenders will be a complete replacement item and the rear fenders would be grafted on top of the standard rear? But you'll definitely have to leave your car with them I'd have a search in your state's sub forum for reputable workshops that others in your area have used and start a thread in there if you can't find what you're searching for, Good luck! What bodykit pieces are you using, is the widebody fenders custom, like gt500 style?

Will An R33 Cat Back System Fit An R34?
Yo-Yo replied to tstg23r's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Probably not a straight bolt-up job mate, They definitely use different hangar points for the rear muffler. Whether the way the exhaust bends will suit an r33 somenody else would need to confirm Length *should* be the same, only the r33 engine pipe going to the cat is longer than the r34. Hope that helps, goodluck -

Mwr34 R32-r34 Full Conversion Build
Yo-Yo replied to mwracing's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Coming along nicely, Panel shops rarely do their best work under the pump in my experience, and if you're spending that amount of dough you'd want them to take their time and do the job properly! -
If you've pressed the tcs off button but no 'tcs off' dash light comes on, then when you go for hard driving and the slip and tcs lights flash then I'd say it's just your button rooted and your tcs system working fine, your button is not letting you turn it off. You TCS and SLIP lights are designed to light up when you're in ON on your ignition barrel before you start the car, just like the check engine lights, abs etc. so no problems with the bulb. Once TCS is off your car behaves incredibly different, I think the TCS is 'too' effective for my liking, it will suck your power at the very hint of wheel spin rather than cut in when you really need it. Although it does help in the rain when you take off, I don't launch my car like a d*ckhead but even in heavy rain when I just want to take off you're sitting there for a second or two spinning the wheels before it takes off, not a drama with TCS on
