  1. you dont need to do that just for the baby, you can have the car as low as fk and ride as hard as a tank (like me) and the baby will either love it or fall asleep. but its you choice.
  2. That's fkd, hope you get it back soon & ok.
  3. When you get your car polished how long it stays that way really all depends on the exposure to the elements and how often its washed. You need to also remember that a Polish made in Europe or somewhere like that claiming 'lasts up to X months' might not work the same in the harsh Aussie environment. For minimal to no swirl marks you need to polish by hand with a certain motion and use softer and softer applicators as you go. And YES if you already have swirl marks they will reappear just like any other scratch you 'hide' by polishing it. How fast the scratches and swirls reappear depends on the environment your cars in and the way the polish is applied and wiped off. (forget using a buffer if you hate swirl marks) Delta you would be wasting your money with that product. They don't even show you photo's of before and after taken from the same position. how are you supposed to compare before and after? Here's your scratched bonnet.... And if i put the camera way back here and on a completely different angle.... LOOK! no more scratches!!!
  4. If you got a GTST with GTR 'Copy' rims (assuming there GTR offset) The offset could well be your problem? Turn the wheel hard to the right and then inspect all the plastic inner guards on both sides for obvious wear. Look real close at where the wheel is sitting and if there is any slight marks on the plastics nearby. Check if any of the plastic clips that hold the inner guards in place are missing, etc.
  5. search 'mirror' in the DIY there a tutorial on how to fix this.
  6. lol i was thinking "WHY ARE YOU YELLING!!!"
  7. Hi Danski Nice ride you got there
  8. I think you either need to replace the mirror glass with a UV one or just buy a whole new mirror, ie ganador, top secret, etc Not sure if theres anything stick on, not that you'd want that on a GTR
  9. It could also be the way your front bar is sitting, might have to fiddle with it to check. Where about you getting the painting done? I need to get my whole car done.
  10. You can reset 3 different ways, by unplug battery and depress the brake peddle a few times when unplugged to drain any remaining power. Or you can do the reset/diagnostic by bridging the consult port or by turning the screw on the ECU itself to run diagnostic test & reset. do some searching. But if you did that already you shouldn't have to again. I cant say about the effect the TPS voltages could have, thats beyond my knowledge. Hopefully someone else can answer that.
  11. They mean an air leak somewhere. Just a stab in the dark, but with the new manifold setup and new TPS could the ECU being reading things wrong and think its under more load than it actually is? Is the car driving/boosting normally under load? Have you reset your ECU since you made the changes?
  12. Hey Peter, set your catch can up where ever you can find space but you just replace 1 of the lines with the catch can, so you have the hoses this way......... Glad you had fun
  13. I think you just put the screw back to where it was (counter clockwise) then turn the ignition off. Ive forgotten cuz i have a PFC now but i think you..... Turn ignition on, then turn the screw on the ECU clockwise wait a few seconds then turn the screw back (counter clockwise) read the code that it flash's (hopefully 55) then turn ignition off. Everything should be back to normal & ECU is reset. start car to check, then go for a very spirited drive so the ECU can advance timing to suit your driving.
  14. Thanks for the replies, I sprayed some WD40 around and that seems to have made most of the noise go away. It was probably from all the wet weather lately. hehe
  15. Cool, it just sounds a bit weird to me, although i'm going to assume its from factory and has done 170***km so its probably had a hard life and time for a rebuild. Anyone know any good places on the Gold Coast, Southport to get it checked out or to rebuild it? Thanks
  16. OK my car is a Car is a 93 r33 gtst, rb25det, i went for a drive early this morning and when i came home i noticed a kind of juusssh juusssh noise almost like a belt rubbing or a kind of grindy bearing noise coming from the alternator. The noise fades away (almost to nothing, very faint) when i turn off my lights and gets louder when lights are on and louder again with high beams on (low beam stays on with high beam) . My voltages are 12.8 car off and 14.3 running on the PFC Just wondering what peoples thoughts are, Is my alternator on its way out? Everything seams to work fine still?
  17. Hey, great job with the LED's, I reckon you should make your normal lights stay on with your high beams as well if you haven't already? I thought about that when i removed my spoiler so i just mounted the LED's from the spoiler here, not sure if i really like it though...
  18. nope u just take off the plastic cover behind the wheel. I think theres 6 screws to undo & 1 screw is under the handle where you lift the steering wheel up & down. Its real easy
