  1. The problem is you didn't do enough research before you did that mod. Your cars obviously not set up/tuned to run ATMO BOV
  2. In a nutshell, you drain old oil out, put new oil in, run car, drain the new oil out again, put another lot of new oil in. Done
  3. Flush it with new oil instead. Mine idles around 1 all the time when warm.
  4. It will probably be a combination of ride height and your wheel sizes. Ive got tein SS and are lowered about the same as yours with 225/40/18 on the front and it only scrapes full lock turn on steep driveways etc. oh and if i hit a large dip at high speed it sometimes scrapes. I had 235/40/18's on the front and they scraped heaps more. oh and making it stiffer didn't help me.
  5. assuming you put the wheels on yourself, if you haven't already, you'll need to have all the wheels balanced and an alignment done. Check all the tyre pressures are even too. If the front tyres are over worn that would give the feeling of the car randomly being pulled left & right. (A bit like going over ruts in the snow) Not to mention the lack of braking, cornering, understeer etc.
  6. I had this exact thing, ticking like a stone stuck in the tyre and would stop when turning, turned out it was a loose wheel nut??? LOL
  7. I just got one through KUDOS motorsports (the NTK one) there around $85 or something express delivered.
  8. The o2 sensor shouldn't be done up super tight. They only need to be hand tight + a 1/4 or 1/2 turn or something. But I got mine off by using 2 spanners (lol) one angled onto the sensor as best as i could get cuz of the tight space, then use an adjustable spanner on the first spanner to lever it around and undo the sensor. easy
  9. Yeah cleaning is for a 1st year apprentice, hehe
  10. Some good points there but the only thing I disagree with is that people use the engine gearbox to slow down because its safer then braking whilst out of gear, + if your brakes fail a least your in gear and the engine torque will help slow the car a little bit. A 2nd hand gear box would be similar price to a new set of (good) brakes & rotos anyway. Im sure the wear it causes would be minimal on the engine and gearbox anyway and the injector duty is always 0% when your foots off the accelerator coming down the revs. so you wont save any more fuel either way. You would just put more strain on the brakes and wear them out faster without the use of the engine. Just my 2 cents
  11. My guess is that water is probably making its way under the sides of your wing and getting through the holes in the bootlid, then collecting there and pooling out the hole in your picture. Take the bootlid carpet lining off so you can see better. The holes are meant to be there.
  12. You need to hit the NOS button at this point!
  13. pretty sure its too wide for just a bolt straight on thing, due to the larger guards of the gtr, but it might be able to be modified to fit, but you'd be best off just getting one thats made for a gtst.
  14. Ive got the tein SS aus version set 2 clicks off hard with alloy subframe locks and its not a really hard ride, does get a bit bumpy on some of the mountain roads (soft settings is fine) but hard is fine around the city & the highway. Great feel on nice smooth stuff. Dont have the EDFC, i was going to get it but ive got no back seat in and it takes no time to change the setting manually so im not going to bother.
  15. Coilpacks. check em for cracks with a microscope. thats more than likely the problem, if you get an improvement from tapping them up, then go buy new one's.
  16. nothing slows your car down like traffic, and what better place to have the AC cranking on 18c on a fkn cold winters day.
  17. You can add a bit of insulation to the inside of the box, stops a whole lot more heat from passing straight through the metal.
  18. I have the same problem, though on my PowerFC it does the same thing so im thinking its the speedo signal from the gearbox to ecu thats playing up? It always seems to be good when im on the highway, but if im driving around town it'll play up more. I haven't been bothered to check mine out though.
  19. You can buy Air Flow Meter cleaner at Supercheap too.
  20. You'll need to use eucalyptus oil or something similar (as above) , but check what it does to the dash materiel in a hidden away spot first before you rub the shit out of the dash.(2nd pic) If your lucky it will all come off without effecting surface too much, then go over it with some dash cleaner (armorol) In the 4th pic down that latex coating here is fkd, so with that whole dash fascia you can gently rub all the latex coating all off (very sore fingers) and hope the plastic under it is good enough to be polished back to a nice shine. (did this on mine, not 100% but good enough until i decide to paint it) But more than likely it will need to be painted. If you paint it just sand the latex off first. Or just buy a dash fascia off ebay. good luck
  21. LoL @ i like your super stealth rear view shot. haha spotted a nice white 4 door 34 on Smith street yesterday arvo
  22. Spotted a silver r35 gtr driving south on Oxley Drive yesterday, was too busy looking twice/drooling to give a wave
  23. How does it feel to drive? Can you feel the loss of power or does it just feel the same as it always did?
