Woot!! I just did the soldering trick on the headlight column, works like a charm! Although i would like to add that because im such a bad soldererer i found it easier to take the headlight column thingy apart (the whole top where the plug goes and where you need to solder comes out and this makes the soldering heaps easier as you can attack it from both angles. :banana:

Serious bable....... This topic is about the choice out of a stock 32 or 33, but really who cares what you can do with 15k with any other car? The better choice would be the stock 33 If your going to mod with big $$ maybe the 32 is a better choice If your going to mod with less $$ maybe the 33. Both are weapons with the right mods.

Drill them from inside the boot maybe?

Doesn't sound to me like a cause for concern, but im no qualified mechanic. I sometimes get a few pops from the exhaust when my foot is off the accelerator coming down revs after giving it some. When you reset the ECU make sure the first drive you go on is hard & fast, the ECU learn's from this & adjust ignition timing accordingly. You want the ECU to know how to handle a flogging before learning everyday granny driving.

Are you saying when you change gears at 7000rpm it backfires but no backfire at 5000rpm ? Sounds like its unburnt fuel popping???? Reset ECU by disconnecting battery & depress brake peddle, or do ECU diagnostic at the ECU, or bridge Consult. Scroll down this post...... ECU Reset

Which is better? That depends who's driving it and what its being used for. Looks are another thing.

Chuck the car in the sun to let the stickers warm up so they aren't as brittle and easier to peel them off (or use hairdryer), & soak the sticky goo left over in heaps eucalyptus oil, or wax & grease remover, wipe, rub and rub some more, then polish. YAY!

Could be your Coils, If stuffed they could cause missfire around the 4500-5000 rpm mark. If there still stock one's, over time they develop hairline cracks which divert the spark from reaching the spark plugs. Just a thought.

Spotted 'RRB20' black r32 Northbound on M1 near Helensvale exits Saturday morning.

Drivers side of the engine bay to the left if your looking at the brake master cylinder, there is a vacuum hose going to the factory boost sensor & from there wires run through a rubber grommet through the fire wall and come out somewhere above the accelerator pedal.

Second hand door trims go pretty cheap on ebay now and then.
