  1. Don't forget 260Z's have a 3.7:1 R200, if it's only the ratios you require. D
  2. The box like Cressida was probably an MX73 2.8L DOHC 12V which has far more poke than your L24E. I reckon my 3.0L Turbo Diesel Jackaroo would thrash your MR30. D
  3. Well my car got all that much closer yesterday. Brake master cylinder in, bled & suspension all done. Wheels went back on last night and I expect it to be going to the exhaust people either later today, or next Tuesday when I'm on another day off. All is going to plan at present.
  4. With this comment it's obvious where your tastes lie eh! Mags states "candy apple red" hummmmmmmmmmmmmm not to me it's not. The candy apple reds I have seen are bright and vibrant, which this is not. The flairs are very incomplete, looks like it's a project that's run out of money to me, because the flairs need the large side skirts & front air dam that Jenesis does & maybe the rear bar as well to finish them off and rear spoiler looks like an S54 style tacked on. At 10k it's a lot of money to have to throw more dollars at to finish the exterior & then compliance and rego etc etc etc. Before anyone even slightly contemplates this vehicle, they would want to have the engine and body numbers checked to see if it's compliable at all, or was it imported as a non compliable race/rally car. Cheers, D
  5. Where you dig this up from????? Though you might want to rethink this as I think a 3" system on your L24et will be detrimental to an 2" or 2.5". You have to have free flow in any turbo system and very nearly zero back pressure and restrictions, but 3", I don't know about?
  6. And you would be divorced lol
  7. I'm trying to get both the PNV and the DR30 there. The DR would go on a transporter, as I'll be towing the PNV. D
  8. The one on ebay was in SA which would be good for you Marc. Closer as crow flies but probably more expensive than Sydney for freight, although it's probably worth a good look.
  9. Probably got one I might let go. How about a couple of hundred nicker? D
  10. I cant bring one to Melbourne & freight is going to cost you a bomb, with every chance of it being damaged along the way. Unlesssssssssssssssssssss your prepared to make your way to Sydney or Canberra as I did the other week for the parts I bought. I guess it all depends on how much you want one eh? Cheers, D
  11. Anybody interested in this????????? I have tried to make this work for my PNV Coupe & bounced it off Stagefummer in NZ and we both think it's too much trouble to impossible to fit to anything other than what it was designed for. The strut top pieces obviously mount to the top of the struts and would then be in a plane 90 degrees to as pictured, the straight bar is then attached via the bolts off the top mounts and the cross bars mount to the 1st 2 pieces and mount to pre drilled holes in the floor (I guess for child restaints) making a very rigid rear strut tower assembly. I have this brace and am just looking for interested parties at present, but if there is sqillions, maybe I should reproduce it and share it around. Cheers, D
  12. Marc, It is my opinion that the Gibson car that Cazz has, that you have been looking at, doesn't have a rear sway bar because the roll cage is welded into the body (which you don't have) and therefore the body has zero give. Cazz doesn't know the spring rates, as I have asked that question. I can always take it out (the rear) as a test, but I think our cars, without the rigidity of the last Gibson car, will need some rear sway control. JMHO of coarse! Unfortunately, I wont have the time to put poly bushes in the rear cross member of the DR, or get them into the moustache bar, so I will be testing with rubber bushes as well. A mate of mine's son is running an 200B sedan in Club Class with 700lb/in front & 550lb/in rear springs, along with an A bar to control the tramp, plus a panhard rod setup, plus a sway bar to boot, so I don't think spring rates have a lot to do with it. A question for you. Is this all going into a road car of yours, or the race car in NZ? Cheers, D
  13. I'll have some pics of my PNV front set up shortly, complete with externally adjustable Koni strut inserts, Cusco camber tops (compliments of the DR) & lowered King springs, SWR adjustable caster bars, new lower control arms, new slotted DR brake rotors, EBC Green Stuff pads & 23mm front sway bar. I have Reds & Greens for replacement, but for a street car, I think my choice for rear pads will be Bendix General C/T in future and use the reds up front. Cheers & thanks, D
  14. If I get it to Adelaide, it's going to have stock shaped 27mm front & 24mm rear, but I'll take an R31/RB30 25mm bar with me, with bushes to suit for trial purposes. It also has 400lb/in front springs & 300lb/in rear springs over the 4 way adjustable JIC Coilovers. I hope to have a set of Toyo R888's for it as well. Might be fun with about 400HP at the wheels. Cheers, D
  15. Got my hands on a manual overnight. Thanks for the info guys, but I know what is the go now. 23mm ~ CA20E R31 Pintara 25mm ~ RB30E R31 Skyline & 27mm ~ RB30E GTS I & II Skyline I guess the cockheads at the local wrecker doesn't know there is a diference between Pintara & Skyline front sway bars. Some time back I had a rear bar bent up & asked a member of this forum to trial it, which never happened. It's the same shape as the Jenesis rear bars (minus the kink) in 20mm solid, so I think I will do my own trials wityh the 23mm front & custom shortened 20mm rear. Should work out pretty good for a road car. Anyway, thanks again for your help, Cheers, D
  16. Is it possible the R31 Pintara had an 23mm front sway bar?? And if I can get 23mm GP poly bushes, it still might be a good mix with my custom (Jenesis style) 20mm rear bar. As it's actually shorter than standard, it would be stiffer than standard at the same diameter. Cheers, D
  17. For all those using this R31 front sway bar. Have you checked the diameter with a vernier? Is it for sure 25mm or is it 23mm maybe?? As I have, what is supposed to have come from an R31 Skyline (mind you I didn't take it off myself) and the verniers say it's only 23mm & 24mm bushes are loose & 25mm are very sloppy. Can someone confirm the diameter of the front Aussie R31 sedan sway bar??? Not the GTS as that was/is 27mm. Cheers, D
  18. Good for you & you don't need to get them new from a dealer. If your using Japan as the source, any number is available through Yahoo. I have just ordered parts from KRS for my PNV and I hope I can get them before the nationals.
  19. Just how many people from this forum are attending this event? Front end completed & now just waiting for Nissan to get me the Z31 master cylinder I ordered. Cheeers, D
  20. The Jax car at Narellan didn't reach reserve, but I'll be over that way tomorrow, so I'll check & report
  21. I had someone look at the SA car & it needs a lot of work, but probably not as much as the Jax car on ebay.
  22. If anyone is serious about buying parts from this KRS site through Import Monster, Aaron just told me that if it's ordered with mine it would be cheaper for you. I guess it would be saving some part of his commission and internal Japanese postage to his warehouse plus maybe EMS freight to Oz. Up to you? Cheers, D
  23. Boof, It's in Japan & I sent them an enquiry direct and they replied "Hello, Thank you for contact. Please contact us in Japanese, English is not supported whether Basically, pay by bank transfer, UPS can ship in the carriage is not known Thank you, KRS" So if you cant comply ............... talk & type Japanese .............. contact Import Monster and they will organise a buy for you, as they are doing for me. Before you do, if it's DR parts you need, maybe I can help, I'm just being pedantic buying the new bits, as I can afford them at the moment. Cheers, D
  24. Off to bed ...... nite nite eh? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  25. Thank you. Have given Import Monster a list of parts I'm wanting for my PNV. D
