  1. They are shithouse, had work done late last year, minor front end damage on my R32 GTR. Left me with a f**ked battery at pickup @ 5pm. They didn't replace the damaged reobar as quoted (hammered it back and redrilled mounting holes). Overspray galore. They took 3 months to put in their paperwork so I could get a payout to replace my damaged intercooler myself, 2 months of which they lied and said it had been submitted. Oh yes ended up being a two month wait to get it in, and then two and a bit weeks for the work to be done, something that should of been a couple of days work. DO NOT RECOMMEND
  2. Did they get back to you? Would be nice to get these within the next month
  3. Any chance of seeing these before the new year? Or mid January more likely? Cheers
  4. Thanks mate.
  5. Fatz did you get my deposit I paid in 4 weeks ago? I've pm'd you 4 times on the subject to confirm but not one single reply
  6. Like the 2.8L RB isn't your garden variety stroker?
  7. lol, how many ppl fed the dog with the 'please do not feed me' sign on its back Nice pics Kym
  8. Just an idea, not really a priority tho, I notice on the mp3car.com forums the have a 'live' new posts, so you can leave it up and click new threads/post as their created. It would be quite useful, esp. if it could be reduced to individual sections ie. Forced Induction or For sale etc linky: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/vaispy.php
  9. Alot of the gallery & avatar pics have gone haywire in the server move, should be back to normal when they move again soon.
  10. Auto sparky can do it, but if you want to... get urself a clampmeter to measure amp discharge while car is off. One by one go thru your fuses and remove them and see if it changes amp discharge Make note of any that do and then check to see if they are shorting or on when they shouldn't be (ie fuel pump staying on when should be off with car etc.) Normal discharge with an alarm with everything thing of should be around 0.5amp (1amp tops). EDIT: Just read thru properly, battery voltage is fine, infact nearly full. I'd be looking at earth straps & starter motor
  11. This is where that rumour of mine came from Bubba hehe, grab the engine mounts from a LD28 powered laurelor R31 skyline station wagon, because of the deck hieght on the block the engine mounts are shorter .......... it was an old retired mechanic who told me what engine mounts to try. i would have never have known other wise and probably would have had to get a custom bonnet made.
  12. Throw up a pic or PM me one, interested in the better of the two sets. Thanks
  13. I'm in definately for another round. Maybe if i dont cause any carnage next time, and our front bar doesn't keep coming off, we should place well... as i still managed a few 1:02s this time iirc. Lots of fun regardless, made the GTR feel slow when i drove it later in the night... itching for that turbo upgrade now, and Brad, make my gtr handle like gokart pls?

  17. Key cutting is the equivalent of tracing a picture, you only get key cutting problems when its a copy of copy of a copy etc
  18. or any locksmith in a shopping center. It won't interfere with your alarm/immobilizer, but I know on my mums lancer, the immobilizer chip is part of the key... if 34s are the same and you retain factory immobilizer, i dont think the key will start the car, only open doors, boot etc.
  19. 1. Should i replace the bushes or just wait for coils ? Coils are coming in the next 3-4 mths time. Any possible damage while prolonging this ? For the age of the car, all your bushes should be fine... but bushes are a seperate entity to coilover/shocks 2. What's the gearbox and diff fluid used for (noobie question) Keeps the internal gears of respective items lubricated & cool, good thing they were topped up. 3. Are the brake pads condition of concern at those levels? Seems fine, rears usually get change once for every 4-5 front changes IIRC. Fronts will be due for a change within the next few services, dependant on driving style 4. What's the price range when it comes to 5k services like these (brought my own plugs and oil and also the first 5k service since compliance) Small services are usually in the ballpark of $200... dependant on what actually gets done/supplied. I never notice as i have always done the old "kill two birds with one stone"
  20. Sounds like loser talk from a loser... LOSER!
  21. Nissan FAST is the parts program for a Nissan cars, it also gives up details on individual cars based on the VIN, such as trim, transmission, colour, turbo/NA etc etc. Theres a thread (which i can't find atm) which you can chuck up your VIN and get the details from someone with the program... or you could 'find' the program yourself on torrent sites
  22. lol its a friday night... but yes coilpacks are the same between those models. This sort of thing has been covered before, but this thread will get you started... all the info is already here on the forum, just need to search. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mi...500-t32356.html
  23. IIRC rb20, rb26(except 34) and s1 rb25 ignitors are all the same Check plug gaps while your there...
  24. Still factory paint? It'll be listed in FAST if you run your VIN thru it.
