  1. Nice. Looking forward to updates on this. I have more than a soft spot for C34 Stags.
  2. Btw I have previously tried to spray a front bar in my backyard using acrylic and it sucked. Bad.
  3. That's brilliant, thanks @Murray_Calavera Considering it's the rear quarter, that's a lot to repaint with the rattle can. I'm worried about my results. 😬 I do have an air compressor but spraying has always been something I'm a little worried about. If I'm spraying outside is it only a respirator I need? I know you need a full suit when in the booth. Really awesome advice, thanks!
  4. Doesn't need to be perfect. Its the 2nd family car after all and, despite my emotions, gets beat up a bit. I was thinking a can of body colour and clear, sand, fill, smooth as you said and do a soft-edge spray job on it. Wouldn't be worse than it is now.
  5. Thanks all New boot definitely an option @The Bogan - about $300 for a good'un. Its that guard though. Surely I can make it look better without taking it to 'the man'.
  6. Because I'm a sucker for punishment I bought another E90 but this one came with a less than perfect body and I'm keen to fix it. This one isn't too deep and it looks like somebody has just hit it with a can of genetic silver spray paint. I'm assuming I'll sand the clear and colour and then fix with some filler? I was going to try and pull these out with my puller but that bottom crease is hard! There is access behind but it's really tight. Might be able to get a PDR style pry tool behind. Would love some advice. Thanks guys
  7. This looks fantastic! Welcome to Sean! Build thread is much needed! https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/190-projects-overhauls-and-build-ups/
  8. 100%.
  9. Sounds a little like here. 🤣
  10. Brilliant effort. Well done!
  11. I remember the MK4 build on VWW. Some cool fabrication taking place.
  12. Pics or it didn't happen.
  13. Welcome! Can't be many of those on Ontario streets.
  14. Some cool Chrissy projects there! Mine is the N54. I love the stock performance over the N52 330i and I'll be doing some similar stuff to you. THinking mainly of an intake (proper cold air rather than open pods), FMIC, basic exhaust stuff and a tune. Not sure what 'stage' that is but paired with the coilovers and M3 suspension bits I've got, it's going to be a hoot. I might do a 400m also just for shits n giggles.
  15. Also @Lithiumget the XHP tune for your ZF box. Its totally transformed my paddles on the 6 speed ZF I have. Its a very worthwhile addition.
  16. Nice! I love it! How are you finding those upgrades? I just bought an e90 335i to replace the e90 330i I've had for years. Swapping all the bits over at the moment.
  17. It looks so nice. Those seats will be awesome!
  18. Welcome Al!
  19. She looks fantastic! What do you mean the guards cracked? Did you hit them with the tyres? I've just put the BC's in my BMW and find them to be so good, even over the Bilsteins I had previously. The adjustment of damping makes them really comfy when wound down too, although I really like firm suspension and I have them at about 2/3rd damping.
  20. Nice. Keen for the feedback on both these products.
  21. @soviet_merlinwe went to that car park yesterday and would you believe it, half of it was roped off with temp offices and the other half was full of cars. No matter though, we found another out doors one that was only half full. Cost $30 but was worth it. She had a ball and really seems like a natural. Only one hear-activity inducing moment. Thanks @DuncanI might take you up on that! I could get her to practice on our driveway. She'd have a solid 12 meters or so to go up and down. Hours of fun!
  22. I'm always keen for an adventure! Just a little further than I was hoping for. 😂
  23. Perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
  24. Hi guys, My almost 16 year old is itching to start learning to drive. I told her I'd try to find an open space where she can get a taste of driving before she gets her L's. Does anybody know where I could go for this? It's obviously going to be only slow speed but just a big area where she can feel comfortable. Worth reiterating that she is currently unlicensed so needs to be private land. Thanks
  25. The shitty part is getting the same email for the Save The Koalas petition.
