Hey All, So sorry about this lack of response. As Dan says, I get hundreds of emails and PM's and try to get to them all in a batch. but time doesnt always permit (Uni, work and new baby). I seriously appreciate the donations, a LOT! Dont think for one minute that I dont, you guys are fantastic for donating! I made some changes yesterday to Apache, PHP & MySQL which should make a difference to both speed and getting rid of those pesky IPB Driver Errors.

OK, Just saw the IPS Driver Errors just now. It looks like the service which keeps the search index up to date is causing table locking on the posts table. I have been meaning to convert that table to Innodb (no table-level locking) but haven't gotten around to it. I'll try to do it over the weekend.

There would have been a few IPS driver errors towards the end of last week and over the weekend, but there shouldnt have been any this week. If there have been, can you tell me at approx what times? As for the slowness, I am going to look into our DNS, but apart from that, I dont think there is anything I can do.

Yeah it'll get up there occasionally when a cron or rsync is running (SAU is backed up daily to my local machine) but 3.4 is ok when you consider the CPU power available. Also MySQL uses a LOT of memory atm because I was very generous in the my.cnf.

I'll log a ticket with them and see what happens.
