  1. perfomance mod#1 - make sure the thing is all hooked up good
  2. yes it could be possible but no one would do it. there would be easier ways to induce more power early on. new cams, cam gears, bigger capacity, metal intercooler piping, nos
  3. i remember the first cwest kit when the R34 was just released i loved that !, looks so hot and low got pics of your car CWest, if u dont mind?
  4. OMFG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want that F@#$%^ engine !!!!!!! damn i wish i had money !! that is from a very rare car, skyline26 R32, 4wd attessa, RB26DE, with extractors, and 6 throttle butter fly made by Autech
  5. yeh offset, dont know if they will clear the brakes as slip said
  6. most ppl would tell you its wrong and your going backwards by going from Rb --> Sr, but i say go for it weight distribution would be nicer, and there wouldnt be too many of these conversions around
  7. doesnt the GTS-x come with a turbo and the GTs no turbo?
  8. GT-R there is no substitute.
  9. is it me or is there like 2 other threads about this same topic and from the same author?
  10. i think the best forums to ask these would have to be a rotary forum.
  11. 4LYSIK - now thats thw worst ive seen, sorry to go a bit off topic
  12. i think in the right hands the RX7 is a faster car. The R33 Gtr can help make a average Joe, drive better then previously possible
  13. the adjusted fuel curve comes into effect above 80% throttle usage. below 80%, its just the normal curve set by the factory. when u guys go get your safc, write down the settings because the factory 'may' re-adjust itself after installing and tuning the modual. i had a mate with an R33 gtst, he got his fitted and dyno tuned for $100, but this price may be cheaper if he bought the unit from the same people
  14. but the safc is only meant to come into operation above 80% throttle usage.
  15. ive seen various exhaust for our cars for about 600-800 us, cat back. 4000 seems rather steep, but then again some fujitsubu extractors cost 2400AUD, so including cat back, its about right.
  16. i would imagine a turbo from a 300zx would be alot smaller then a turbo comming off an R33, or any skylines as a matter of fact. you would be going backwards. 300zx uses two smaller turbos, remmembering that a 300zx is 3.0L and twin turbo, each turbo is been run by 1.5L, while your skyline is 2.5L and single turbo. and possible the turbo flanges are different as well
  17. if your passionate about skylines and such, u tend to want to learn all you can about them i know ive learnt a great deal, with more to learn everyday cheers to all the people that share the knowledge
  18. rev it hard Past redline up untill u hit the cutout
  19. i think the R33 Gts Gear boxes are the same as R32 Gts-t gear boxes. so R33 turbo and non turbo boxes are different. unsure, but i hear the R33 gts/r32gtst boxes are limited to 170-200rwkw, but very unsure of this
  20. to my suprise it gets quite hot under our bonnets. i just added a self designed and made airbox to suit my pod filter added some cold air induction from beneath, and it seems to be working to a treat. there is definatly some more top end, the tacho rushes really hard in the last 1500-2000 rpm (which is where it counts)
  21. well, funny u say say that White R32, because when the celica of the same engine and 6speed came out, there was a lot of complaint that changing from 1st to 2nd gear caused you u drop out of the 'higher cam', and thus out of the good power range. this did no favours to the 0-100 sprint for the car. The only way to get around this was to shift right at or just before the cutout, and rip the shift knob as hard as u can.
  22. the avalon is an awesome piece of performance machine. NO Wait a sec, its a Lump of Shiet !!
  23. they should drop in the 141kw engine into the toyota Mr-2 and use a genuine 6 speed with closer ratios then the current. now that would be something, mid ship engine, light weight, frantic top end, Rwd..
  24. damn u lucky @#$%^& on the later series, blue screen edition, the safc's have two interchangable fuel settings. i guess it could be for things like good fuel bad fuel days, summer/winter temperatures, power/economy.
