  1. auto chaser hit 13.9 in the 400m run, from HPI mag. thats Bloody fast, its right up there with a supra TT and if u could get a manual, that DAMMMMMMMM but higly unlikely
  2. it gets rid of the airflow meter? the safc intercepts the signal from the afm and alters it before sending it to the ecu or something like. having an air flow meter is essential. using a fuel control system that uses Map sensor instead can do away with the airflow meter.
  3. huge cams and ported heads to match. this will eventuate in heaps more revs, and will increase power. we will never have the same amount of torque as as turbo(without forced induction of some sort), but if we can produce peak torque very high in th rev range, u get the power. maybe stroking the engine to 2.7-2.8 liters while maintaining reseasonable revs would produce some very attrative figures
  4. damn u found decent 18x8's in four stud damn you ! hehhehe
  5. it low end torque is needed, then just drop in a 1jz-gte( or 2jz) yeh its toyota, but it will get the job done, and it should alot cheaper then the Rb26. do u want the rb26 because of its name and the glory that preceeds it, or do u simply want performance?
  6. u want to richen ur car??? um, try using crappy fuel, that should do it. i get a fuel pops when theres a crapper batch of fuel.
  7. dont want to be a nag but. R32, R33, R34 GTr's all came with 5 speed manuals. 6 speed was an availiable and popular option on the R34
  8. JDM spec S15's are only a tenth or two off from mid 13 sec passes as well. i hear that advan's charge 20,000AUD for the conversion. you can do alot of things to an sr20 with that money.
  9. i think skylines are taxi's as well, in Japan
  10. dunno why the battery is in the boot what hell, im glad its in the boot when it was time to add the audio system. i have the red GT badges as well
  11. oooo the options =D i propose we tried and do some more research before committing to any particular brand in the end though, i do believe we will all benefit immensly.
  12. well, first off, with a honda engine like the b16a u need to launch good, then redline each gear, change gears well just so the engine stays in its power band, the agressive cam, vtec zone. if this happens u are in a run for your money, but if u drive equally as well, u should be ahead. if the b16a cant drive, well, its not much of a contest
  13. spanner lodged next to the radiator...
  14. 140 in second gear? shit ! i hit 140 redline in 3rd gear
  15. these extractors are bolt on right? all the flanges and things fit and line up ? and ive heard that when installing extractors, after the first week, u need to change the gasket again? hope this isnt the case though.
  16. i wasnt expecting too much from extractors, maybe some more top end and a better sounding exhuast note. if the torque increase to quite noticable, then that makes it even better!!! and considering the price as well, its a steal ! though i dont like orange=, chrome or black or me but its someting i can live with
  17. on one site, they were something like 2400 AUD yeh, i pretty much fainted
  18. fujitsubo....damn you ! impressions of the extractors? cost?
  19. i would so LOVEE to get this. what sort of time frame are we looking at though to confirm everything and get it all done?
  20. i think its looks ok, but has plenty o potential bigger and wider wheels, and some dumpage action
