  1. pad knock? generaly heard at the speeds your talking and also generaly sounds like a deccently loud *knock* to fix try applying copper grease to the backing on the front pads. its caused by the pads mooving in the caliper mount. try that
  2. well what type of bar is on mine? not a type m?
  3. fuel reg to suit what motor? z32 with a plug? how long was it used etc? oh and camber arms to suit a 13? do they also fit r32? what brand?

  6. the nipples are the lil dome's ontop of the calipers. get your mate to pump the pedal up and then hold his foot down on the pedal then you open the nipple. just dont let your mate go all the way to the floor then repeat this until the brakes return + dont let the reservior run out of brake fluid. For f**k sake dont drive a skyline without brake's jesus!
  7. when it gets noisey, change it. usualy the guids fail before the chain however do both at once if this happens. good practice

  10. yo man how much more airflow do u estimate you gained, as in b4 and after how much more face of the cooler could u see? just a rough idea
  11. make sure ALL paper work matches the chasis and engine number, coulda done a dodge up after it was registed
  12. this is what the front looks like, kinda dodgy phone camera photos in lil light, i want a gtr bar! cause the full cooler goes right up past the number plate .
  13. hmmm looks good mate *blitz*, i would like to know where i could get a plastic one from then, would it mount using std reo? or need gtr reo? ive rang a few wreakers and most dont wana sell em, heavin forbid a wrecker should sell some skyline parts i mean jeez. anyways ive anyone knows of a plastic original bar then sounds like its the go, i realy want the gtr bar not just for looks but the mouth is much bigger then mine, with my cooler im loosin bout 3-4inches behind the bumper reo! not gettin airflow.

  15. goto your local panel beaters and ask em if they have any old bumper bar boxs laying around, most do plus bubble wrap it inside the box or sumtin.

  18. initial ones prob had no oil presure, then slowly as it built it got more *relative* if you will, either way i bought an rb20 in such condition, held just under 200rwkw awsum compresion, unless there was actual water in the bores and left to fill up/sit there with it in, i doubt you will have much troubles.

  20. hi guys anyone know of a place in sydney where i could get hold of a gtr style bar to fit r32 gts-t. not a dodgy looking one and preferably not one that costs like $400 +++ thanks fellaz
  21. the owner of the panel shop at my old work, did what you are doing to a hq limited edition monaro one of 400 or someshit, he made a cradle so he could spin the car 180 degrees(on its roof) so he could spray the undercarriage in the booth mirror finish top and bottom, every bolt either painted or replaced
  22. im in syd, qualified mechanic own a skyline(i think this is an advantage) ive also installed manifolds of this kind before, just a lil hint, get hold of all new head studs for the manifold + all new gaskets. also potentialy get some new braided hoses, depending on the manifold, studs+ gaskets are a must for good practice

  24. it made sense to me so ill share my first thought on why it needs to be mandrel bend's, if you did not mandrel bend the bar it would create a weak point across the main flex sections of the stabalizer bar.
