  1. does the HKS dump pipe hav a split pipe running the wastegate seperately? if so how far down the dump does it rejoin before the CAT, because i was under the impression that CES made the best split dump pipe for internal wastegate turbos due to the wastegate screamer having decent travel distance before it rejoins
  2. most dyno runs of the BMTS.15 200sx, vls, gtrs off full boost.com run a scream pipe with on the dyno, all i can say is, even hearing it on computer, it sounds nothing like it in real life, its that loud.
  3. didnt HKS make low mount manifolds?? or am i mistaken, surely there is a market for these(although i would prefer high mount).
  4. ferni wats an approx figure u bought ur gtr rims for? hard to get? they r worth it but. i dont care wat people say, to me these r the best looking rims ive seen, no aftermarket rims can campare, ive seen s15s with these rims on in australia and NZ and they seem to hav no problem fitting them, or could they b modified guards?
  5. ummm ive seen numerous r34 GTT manuals sell for 31-34k, especially in the past weeks, on this forum and others. to say imports do not drop in value is just wishful thinking. u can get aus delivered s15s for the 30K mark these days.
  6. dammm mite hav to visit NZ this summer for a bit.... i hear houses are pretty expensive over there though?? what about aftermarket parts like exhausts, coolers, computers etc, are they cheap too?
  7. original aftermarket japanese bodykits(veilside,trial,vertrex,etc) cost ALOT more then their copied counterparts, a full veilside costs about 8K if not more....

  10. now they r starting to restrict the importation of vehicles made before 1996 due to new frontal impact laws, something to due with airbags and safety requirments....

  14. saw it at autosalon yesterday, was a series 2 r33 with the plates PUNKD(i think there is meant to b a pun in there), and inside the engine bay there was a Phat Eaton(i think) positive displacement supercharger, no turbo to b found. my guess is it was originally NA and he made the switch to blow it, pretty unique i think.

  16. id say that a pretty good quote for a 35K+ car man, dont forget as u get older ur insurance will b less, so its not like ur going to pay 3 K per year(unless u make claims), so maybe when ur 21 it will drop to 2300 then 2000 then 1700 and so on.

  18. hmm mite as well make it that we cannot import at all, ive given up on it really, i know ill neva import a car as it wouldnt b worth it anyway, wat with the compliance costs , import tax , gst, insurance, frieght etc and all this was unda the old scheme, now its even worse. best solution would b to live in japan lol
  19. the dalton rx7 that runs 8s doesnt use a coola at all, straight from the turbo to throttle body on methanol, as does australias fastest FWD 'delsol' which runs 9s, i know of many fast vls that run truck coolas but vls follow a trend that has no real benefit( running no bov thus causing lag,) its like a cult thing. ud find many drag cars r using water to air koolers these days as well although i think that would b for a fully worked drag car. me personally would go for a trust 600 by 300 by 75 koola imported straight from japan, havent heard any complaints bout them
  20. in NZ cats rnt illegal so i dont think it poses much of a difference, apexi hav cats that hav a very low restriction(10%?) but they cost about 800$ and i hear most cats deter ova time to coz even more of a restriction, makes me wonder if its worth having one

  23. ive always liked the spoilerless look on japanese car(200sx, 180, r34s) all except for the r33's bat ears, but i hav to say it would b worth investing in a a/m boot then the 'stealth' spoiler, but anything is betta then the stock S1 spoiler, really need an aftermarket rear bar to make the aftermarket spoiler suit though
  24. yeh just keep it on the low so it stays that way i mean unless u wanna pay 1500 for a apexi PFC wifout handset at autobahn
