  1. Its a universal adaptor that fits the bottom of the BOV and the gasket perfectly. It can simply be attached to a rubber hose that comes off you intercooler piping. Any other Q's?

  3. It happened near my area. I went to High school with all 3 of the people involved. I was shocked when i heard. It only clicked that it could've been my mates car when i heard the age, area and car of the driver....found out later today that it was infact him... Such a nice girl too, i pray for her family.
  4. Yeah man, its all in AUS dollars, which is different. Looks like its the go.
  5. Sorry to bring up an old on-going thread but i just noticed Nengun has put prices up on his website regardless of if you have registered or not. Some of the prices seem unbelievable. Blitz LM cooler kit for an S15 is $855. I know theres a chance that it will get pulled by customs but even with those charges it would still be cheap. What you guys reckon? How would i go about getting a quote on something that isn't listed on his website???
  6. I bought a new Type S about 10 months ago for $300 with adaptor and everything to bolt on to a S15. It is no longer in production unfortunatly. I think GFB or Turbosmart would make something with a similar noise. The RS is more of a conventional "psssht" rather then the Type S "mouse fart".
  7. I have an APEXi Super Cat Converter comming in about 3-4 weeks, this will bolt onto a Trust PEII cat-back and CES front pipe. Got the APEXi Cat for $700, steep but when other non-jap brands are charging 400-500 i thought i might as well put a bit extra on top. Car is an S15. PM me if you want to know where to get the cat at that price.
  8. CES make a split dump/front(in one) for the XR8 turbo. They had it dynoed in a previous ZOOM magazine, got an awesome power gain with the full exhaust.
  9. Thats sounds pretty good. Best price I could find was $740 landed and taxes paid. While some other shop quoted me $1100, plain rip off. Think ill go for an APEXi cat.
  10. I have a Trust Type S still in box, hasnt been installed yet. The car currently has a stock BOV, so its not necessary thta i have to run one, but it would be nice lol. I've heard there is less lag upon gear changes using a plumb-back. But i see heaps of people with silvias and skylines who run atmo BOVs with stock ECY's and don't stall/stutter, how is that so?
  11. Sydneykid im going to be running an atmo BOV on my S15 which is AFM equipped. Now this car is 100% for the street(minimal lag, smooth delivery, punchy), would it be best to go for normal FC or Jetro. My aim is 240-250RWKW(using a t518Z 8cm or APEXI p60). If i have normal FC and an atmo BOV, will my car stall or stutter, or is there a way of tuning it so it won't happen? Thanks heaps in advance.
  12. The NISMO Coppermix is rated at 420HP at the engine and is a single plate full-faced clutch(smoother for street driving). This is the clutch i'm getting for my S15 as a twin plate would most likely kill the fragile 6 speed gearbox. Best price I found would be a Melbourne dealer named RMS Motorsport, quoted me $1450 pick up from the stoe in Melbourne. This price included the lightened flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate, fork etc. Speak to Henry at RMS if you decide to go for the NISMO clutch, a nicer guy you won't find.
  13. You got pics of this Apexi carbon fibre box?? I've only seen the aluminium ones for S15s and they are completely blocked off. Would be nice to see a Japanese brand make a complete carbon fibre box for their pod filters.
  14. You have pm man. Interested in a Type S. These don't come with car specific adaptors do they? Need a price and a ETA. Thanks man.
  15. AUTOBAHN has the range of Motul oils, if they don't have it in stock then they can order it in. Only took 2 days to get my oils in.
  16. So these brought the car on boost quicker did they(quicker spoo; time, less lag)?? Or did they just bring on power quicker while the car was on boost? Looking for cams to allow for boost to start earlier in the rev range, dont like lag much....
  17. Yeah everytime without fail. Always warm up until the revs drop a bit, giving the oil a chance to circulate. Don't spend a ludacris time though as idling the car for long periods can be bad(unspent fuel slips past the rings and goes into the sump, decreasing the oils viscousity). 2-3 minutes idle is ok. Then i drive like a granny not revving over 2500rpm, this warms up the gearbox, diff and brakes without putting strain while the oil is cold. When stopping the car i ALWAYS go off boost for the last say 5 minutes of the trip to use air to cool the oils and fluids. Then i idle it for 30 seconds or so. Can't stand people who thrash their car then leave it idling for 10 minutes and think they've made up for the damage.
  18. Would also like to know how made the tough looking dump pipe man. Looks so solid and nicely engineered.
  19. Hey there mate, I have an S15 which is about to go in for a FULL service(diff, gearbox, brakes, plugs, radiator etc). I went for Motul 8100 XS 5w-40 full synthetic for the engine, Motul Gear300 75-90 for the gearbox and Motul GEARBOX 80-90 mineral for the diff. DO NOT use Motul FF-LSD if you have the stock LSD!!!! I know this sounds very strange but the S15 manual says to use NON-LSD oil for the gearbox and diff(which GEAR300 and GEARBOX are NON-LSD). I think FF-LSD is to be used with lockers and mechanical diffs. Bear in mind you could use GEAR300 for the diff also, i opted not to because the manual states the S15 diff needs 80w90, not sure if i could get away with using full synthetic Gear300... would love to try it for the diff sometime.
  20. Will it fit an S15? can you make one up for an S15 if not?? PM me if you can or are willing. thanks man
  21. Jap spec has a rear wiper too, thats one of the main was to tell. I bought an Aus spec mainly because it was newer, had one owner, had FULL service history and because i knew the power difference would be slight but add an exhaust and a filter and you would make the same gains as the jap spec and be even(because Aus spec exhaust is more restrictive). Factory boost gauge on Jap spec doesnt look as good as a Greddy pillar and only holds one gauge, i didnt see much difference in interior between the two.
  22. **** on street tyres too!! I've seen a pulsar SSS with an SR20 in it do a high 12 on street tyres but that was turboed. Excellent for a front wheel drive with no forced induction or NOS.
  23. I use 8100 Motul 5-40 in my S15, fully synthetic. Won't touch any other brand.
  24. Suiram nice work on the engine mate. Can i ask what plenum you have on it? At first i thought it was a GTR plenum but now it could be a Greddy one. Also were the extractors custom made by Cobe? Cause they sure look better then the coby ones ive seen. Nice work again. Hows the response and power delivery?
