  1. Generally speaking, the measures of strength are the squat, deadlift and benchpress. Yet your PT doesn't squat. Dude I wasn't having a go at you. But it is true, most PT's are a sham, if you have a good one, they are far and few in between. And I don't have too much pride to seek help lol, I prefer to get mine from pro-bodybuilders. I just thought I'd say that for the benefit of members who might be n00bs or new to training.
  2. I said most, not all. But the fact that you have listed his leg press instead of his squat tells me something. Further, if you do your research, not need to waste a year!
  3. At least you admit it. Seriously though, most PTs these days do a short course and are usually anorexic too. They are good if your goals are general fitness, useless if you wanna put on mass. I dunno I guess I just rate hard work, good nutrition and training, call me weird.
  4. Hmm yeah bro the car is booked in for the test on Friday. Kinda hoping it is something easy to find but doubt it lol.
  5. PT's are n00bs for n00bs. Sorry but if you can't workout to train/eat yourself, you sir are an A Grade n00b.
  6. Hey guys, So I got my GTR tuned recently and the tuner said that once we tried to go past 13psi, the car was just dumping the boost due to a hairpin leak of some sort, advised leak will need to be found etc, I was like meh, just leave it at 13psi enough power for a street GTR. Anyways, recently, it has lost a lot of power (probably 4-5 weeks since tune), it is almost like it is running stock again. Does this mean the boost leak got bigger? Or could it be something else? (Could the PowerFC have forgotten the tune?) Just want to have a rough idea before I take it apart looking for the leak... Oh also, don't know if this is relevant, but recently I have noticed that after giving it some stick, I can smell a strong/gassy smell, not sure where it is coming from. Thanks!

Dude you're a stalker! lol! Yep it is a dark purple, but Midnight purple is borderline black in the dark/cloudy weather. *Parks car in garage and lets dog out* hehehe

hmm i was in the area, but mine isn't midnight. lol that sounds like my car too, except it isn't midnight and I don't live in Sunshine. And mine doesn't live outside, it is just outside heaps. At night in a garage behind a fence with my Rottie doing his thing hehe. Can't be too careful these days.
  11. Generally speaking, when someone wishes to contest a legal issue, you attack the logic presented therein and not the person. The approach you have taken makes you look unprofessional and undermines the credibility of your statement. LOL. Mate, he has not sold any item, valuable consideration has not been exchanged for the benifit received (i.e the car.) So what conduct was false and misleading? The provisions you refer to apply when a good has been exchanged, i.e if i buy a car with a expecting it to be a s-tune engine, but it turns out to be a standard engine. Key word= Buy, where a deposit can constitute the finalisation of the deal. In terms of the add being misleading WITHOUT the provision of consideration, one can simply claim false advertising, in which case it is easy to argue mistake or error. No need to ask a Lawyer, I am a final year law student and my dad an established barrister.
  12. Oh. So grammar and spelling is a measure of intelligence now? In terms of this thread, looks like Jim has been caught out. However, in terms of the deal with Harry, who knows who is lying. And there is no legal case against Jim, not in terms of the actual deal, or advertisement anyway (i.e if he argues mistake.) So no point trying to scare him in this regard, that said, his business reputation has obviously now been tarnished.

Spotted a R34 GTR Nur Spec, in Millennium Jade, trade plates. Middle aged Asian driver, possibly his son in the passenger seat. One of the best looking/sounding GTRs I have seen.

That was me in the GTR. Nice 4 door! I was in a real hurry to buy some polish (ran out half way through) from Supercheap and get back to my mates house to finish off his car....lol so we could cruise while the sun was out.
  16. Hmm well I never drove my GTR with a stock clutch. I went from Exedy brass button single to twin ORC. Honestly, it is slightly harder and a bit jumpy on the release, but I got used to it pretty quickly and find it easy to drive.... I haven't driven a Nismo clutch but I have heard they are easier to drive (for those who struggle with twin plates usually) Either way, with the plans you have a twin plate would be the go regardless....
  17. You would need to get a heavy duty with that power, twin plate if you are going to launch it. I have an ORC twin plate in my car and I love it. I don't see what all the fuss about twin plates being hard to drive, I have not stalled it once since I got it and learnt to drive it within 10 minutes no dramas! I'm suprised at how much people whinge about them...
  18. Good on you. They are hype and you don't need them.....
  19. How do you know it was the Hyroxycut that worked? Were you trying to lose weight the same method prior to using the supplement? Watch Bigger, Stronger, Faster for something interesting on hydroxycut and their advertising methods
  20. Agreed. New v8 > worked Rb20.

    Translation Please!

Hey guys I did too! I had a GTO at one stage and I think this was a boss kit for it...... Thanks heaps.
  22. You get what you pay for. So I wouldn't exactly blame the seller, you should have had the engine checked..... For that price, you should have been pretty suspicious. $6000 would be a pretty basic rebuild, but is better than buying a 2nd handy. And pray that nothing else goes wrong.........
  23. Specific to GTRs: - Engine compression and leak down test. - Look for rust, particularly under the body. - Check all suspension components for wear and tear. - Make sure gearbox isn't noisy, make sure 4th gear is easily selectable. - If you buy a cheapish GTR, budget for a rebuild. Also don't forget, other than the cost of the GTR, they are expensive to run, insure and maintain! So it would suit a buyer with spare cash for plenty of maintenance and for when things go wrong. Lucky for you it is a buyers market now and I have seen some fine examples, with rebuilt engines and decent mods going for around the 20k mark. Have fun and good luck!
