  1. Love the autobot badge 110%GTS-T!!! ... not so much the GTR badges Very nice car anyway
  2. Obviously r32 drivers aren't as good as r33 drivers.... they keep crashing theirs and sending them to the scrapyard that's why there aren't as many left compared to the r33! :laughing-smiley-014:
  3. That's where you went wrong. If you think you weren't speeding then you don't admit to it. Hell even if you were speeding you still shouldn't admit to it. Why didn't you contend the ticket with the officer at the time? I don't know how you could just sit there, admit to speeding when you weren't and drive off with a ticket after no contention. You should have said that you were in an 80 zone and then got the coppers to go back and look at the speed on the sign. Pretty sure it would have said 80 as when you left you drove past a sign that said 60.... they wouldn't normally have two signs along the roadworks that both say 60 (unless there is an intersection nearby). Glad that you're fighting the ticket, but you started doing it at the wrong time and now it is going to be a lot harder and more expensive to do so.
  4. Looking good! Slap some dark window tint on that sucker and it would look mint
  5. Amnet 8mbit/1mbit... perfect! I've got 80gb of normal quota and 80gb of waix quota to try and chew up each month aswell... waix barely gets used
  6. Is it there so you can dream? lol +1 for no wing.
  7. 1995 R33 GTS-T Insurance company: Just Car Insurance Cost: 527 (third party fire and theft) age: 21 driving history: 1 claim (2004), 1 licence cancellation (excess 0.05 offence while on P plates, 2006). gender: Male mods: Exhaust, pod, suspension, short shifter, tint, rims. garage y/n: Yes alarm: Yes insured amount: 16k market or agreed value: agreed insured in parents name? no excess: $1600 Just got my insurance renewal this month so those are the current details, before I was paying $512 and the excess was $2200. Also for theft I'm now covered for up to $10k of the market value, where previously I was only covered for up to $5k... I'm pretty sure this changed for everybody with just car insurance. Can't wait until I'm 22 next year so my excess drops by an amazing $50 hmm maybe I should call them up before I pay for my renewal and tell them that I've had a full licence since the beginning of this year, maybe they'll discount something... doubt it though!
  8. Get a CO2 Purge Kit on the front of your intercooler, that way you *might* scare parking lot wallabies and it will also serve a purpose (condenses the air going into the intercooler). Or if you really want to scare them plow right through them!
  9. Yeah stock/lightly modded r32 or r33 gts-t are what you'll find for around that price. The automatic versions are usually a grand or two cheaper, so that could be a thing to look out for if you don't mind automatic. Don't forget you have to pay for stamp duty, rego, insurance (usually inbetween $1-$2k for full comp depending on age and history), etc so you'll have to factor that into your budget if you haven't done so already. Check out the stickied thread on what to look out for when buying a skyline, it can be quite helpful!
  10. What is with the new trend this year of cops blocking exits at meetpoints? Are they begging not to be informed of when and where cruises are happening? I don't think they realise it works both ways. I like it when they are there making sure nobody is misbehaving, but when they block exits or grab a map to set up speed traps along the route it really bugs me.
  11. Hey I know that guy! ... oh wait that's me ... and 99% of SAUWA :laughing-smiley-014:
  12. WGMG is the stupidity of those workplace relations ads. Example, the dad says "My kid starts his new job next week and there's nothing to stop his employer from ripping him off" and then the workplace ditz says "That's wrong. Parents have to sign their kid's workplace agreement, that's the law and we'll enforce it!" *queue looking busy by talking to someone on a computer and walking around with some paper*. Totally avoids the original issue that employers can rip the kid off, and instead emphasises the fact that the parent has to sign the death warrant (aka workplace agreement) on letting his/her kid get screwed over. Great ad, well worth the likely million dollars in tax payer money it cost to make. Liberal has my vote now!
  13. Well that sucks. What a stupid law, let's punish the owner since we can't punish the driver? Anybody know if the cheque trick works so I can at least not lose any demerit points. For those who don't know what I am talking about, apparently if you pay the fine via a cheque but pay an extra $2+ more than the amount stated on the fine, they send you a cheque back for the extra $2. Then if you don't cash that cheque they can't take any demerit points off.
  14. I just got a speeding fine in the post that occured back on april 1st (god they are slow). Anyway, I know I wasn't driving the vehicle at the time because I was at the GO3 expo that day. The photographic evidence provided shows my car (only one on the road), along with the licence plate... but the picture showing the driver just has a pitch black window so I can't see who the driver was. I've asked my family if any of them drove it that day but because it happened so long ago nobody can remember. So I went to fill out the statutory declaration saying that I am not able to identify the driver but saw that it says "I am unable to identify who the driver or person in charge was at the time of this alleged offence due to...". Im not sure what they mean by the person in charge? Do they mean the person in charge of driving the vehicle at the time, the person in charge of knowing who is driving their vehicle, is it assumed I am the person in charge simply because I own the vehicle? I found this publication (http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/lic_RTA_changes.pdf) which "explains" the new law that the owner of a licenced vehicle is responsible for identifying who is in charge of their vehicle at any given time. I can't make much sense of it though because it is so vague... To me it sounds like if you are unable to identify the driver (which I can't), and can't prove you took "reasonable measures", it is tough shit and you have to pay the fine and take the points simply because you own the car. What is deemed to be reasonable measures? I had my car parked at my house, with my keys in my bedroom. I was out at the time of the offence and the quality of the photographic evidence is so poor that I cannot even identify if a human is driving a car, let alone who. Is that classed as reasonable measures? Stupid law, can anybody shed some light on the subject?
  15. There would be less hoons endangering lives if we didn't have morons governing our roads with immoral motives for doing such a poor job. Anybody can see we need stricter, more practical driving assessments (like AHG advanced driver training, not a pathetic hazard perception test done on a computer). Is it going to happen? No, because they don't want to spend the extra money on it and the more people who get a licence the more money they make. We could introduce more complexes for legal burnout pads, drag strips and circuits giving hoons a legal alternative to get their speed fix. Hmm no once again that would cost money and then there would be less people on the road to fine. I know, lets do what they do every year and increase the number of speeding cameras and increase fine penalties because that seems to have lowered the road toll for the past decade Sure many of us may have done the silly stuff, but many of us know when it is the appropriate time and place to do so without endangering anybody else's life. Weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights, triple digit speeds in a 50 zone, etc... you can't blame TT/ACA for doing hoon stories like these when there are idiots doing stuff like that. These threads always cause me to rant lol government authorities anger me with their stupidity.
  16. '95 S1.5 r33 gts-t with 126,000kms. Haven't had any troubles with it apart from a dudd battery. I'll be selling it in a year or two and getting a supra anyway so the mileage doesn't bother me. Way I see it, a higher odometer is probably closer to the truth than a lower one. They are getting pretty old now aswell so I'd be surprised if most weren't around the 100 mark.
  17. I always find it funny when places sell intercooler kits advertised as "Easy DIY installation" and then charge basically the same price as the kit to install it... obviously isn't that easy lol.
  18. Yeah seen it the only good parts of the show are the urban sports and the annoying devil... which is probably why they are the only parts up on youtube. Urban sprinting is the funniest!

I'm old Gregg! I've got a mangina! :laughing-smiley-014: ... I hope aunt thurma doesn't come visiting him lol! Black books is another favourite of mine.
  20. Like many others I'd suggest aftermarket rims, because people will think you are trying to pose as a gtr... and nobody likes posers! BTW it's a well known fact that fake gtr badges on a gts-t makes baby jesus cry (not that you're doing that... right? ).
  21. Yeah my 95 s1.5 is registered as a 96, all the compliance plates say 96 aswell... pretty sure there werent any s1 made in 96.
  22. I think these are the silver backed ones you don't want but i'll post the link regardless... http://www.psiparts.com.au/front.asp?pid=8...oductID=NI33L62 <- $540 a pair! There's also R32 and R34 LED lights (aswell as other imports) for others interested in them.
  23. Third party fire and theft ftw! Heaps cheaper than full comp... providing you don't cause the accident lol.
  24. But it sounds so cool when you speed in the tunnel... not that I ever have. The speed cameras at the entry/exit (going either way) do a good enough revenue raising job anyway, maybe they're going to up the ante since they have to pay even more for the overblown perth to mandurah railway line we were supposed to have last year.
  25. Ah the legal system... don't you just love to hate it? I bet the only reason he went to jail this time was because he had two kids in the back, if they weren't there he probably would have just got another fine.
