Hey guys, Well my RB25/30 days have come to an end, and as such, I have multiple items that need to be sold. 1: RB25 Head. This head has minor porting (Throat Job) and was rebuilt around 1500KM ago. Include the cam covers that have been powder coated in Candy Red. Oil Gallery has been welded for fitment to an RB30. Asking Price: $750 ONO. 2. ATR43G3 Turbo Was only put on a car, and started up by previous owner. I've never run it. Comes with stock exhaust mani and stainless dump pipe. Has the 14PSi actuator on it. Asking Price: $850 ONO. 3. SARD 880CC Side Feed Injectors. These have the same amount of K's on them as the head (1500KM) and come with a freshly powder coated standard fuel rail (Candy Red) with standard FPR. Asking Price: $750 ONO 4. R33 GTS-t 5 Speed Manual Gearbox. Car has 172 000KM on the clock (But most likely more), gears never whined or anything. Drives like a typical R33 GTS-t box. If I can find the short shifter, I'll throw this in too. Asking Price: $1500 ONO 5. Generic Forward Facing Plenum. I never ran this, bought it second hand, with throttle body and idle valve. Asking $500 ONO, is a chrome polished finish. 6. Plazmaman 100mm Core FMIC. I've had this on my car since I bought it, and it's been great. I don't know the height and width of it, but it fills the whole behind of my front grill. Will throw all of the intercooler piping in I have for it too. $400 ONO. 7. Chrome Moly 4.5KG Light weight fly wheel (And standard cluch plate, aftermarket pressure plate) This clutch sat behind my RB30, ripped many a skid, did track days, and never had an issue. This clutch and flywheel is currently in a friends car as a stop gap measure, and still running fine behind his motor too. Clutch and flywheel will be available once his new one lands and he swaps it. No time before. $550 ONO 8. Yellow Jacket Coils Done approx 1500KM, work great, have external R33 Ignitor with them too. $150 ONO There will be more to come as I dig it out of the garage, and it gets ripped off the car as it's no longer required. Same logic it will reduce around 75% of drink drivers cause they now know "0.00 means no beers with dinner" As to the voluntary breath tests, what if you walk out of that police station and go "they said I'm fine" drive down the road, hit a pole and it's determined you were over the limit and the cause of te accident? That voluntary breath test was your deciding point to driving or not... It said you were fine, but you weren't, now you're dead... What's your family going to think?

yeah, it's a bit of a drive, but is well worth it for a good, fun day out. I went to Wakefield yesterday to have a look and help out if needed... In the end I just ended up talking shit with Neil and Duncan instead... LOL

They won't/can't legally do it, because if you get cleared at the first check, and something happens later on, and there is a discrepency, then they're liable. The handheld machines are not "accurate" and hence why you're not booked off them, just taken back to the station tested on the real machine and then booked. But if they hand test you, go "oh no, you're clear" then you head out, crash and your proper BAC is taken and you're over... It's no longer you're fault. I reckon just bring in a 0.00 BAC.

It would have been done most likely before the dealer got it. The RTA are meant to have it on file.

Then he won't need the cert. You need to get a copy of the engineering certificate from the RTA, get the defect cleared, and carry the cert with you in the car.

Do a cool little test, call the RTA tech, get the answer, hang up, call them back, ask them the same thing. Do this 5 times... You'll find you have 5 different answers. If there was an engineers cert listed it should have the number on the rego papers. I know mine used to on the R33, and on the Supra. If they're not listed, then the RTA won't have any clue of an engineers cert. If it does already have one listed, then ask the RTA for it, as it's still valid.

No it's not, vsi 06 spells out that you DON'T need an engineers cert for those mods. If it gets to court, they produce that document you end up walking out with court costs to pay and no further then you are now

You're reading an example. Try reading under the part where it actually explains what you can / can't do and what you need to do. The RTA can not legally force you to retain "STOCK" parts as depicted from Nissan, you have to be able to go outside and use replacement parts, you're also allowed to modify your car. If you want, go dig up the actual ADRs and Emmision regulations. You will find you really don't have much of a leg to stand on. So long as when that cat is new, it passes emmisions and the same with the exhaust, you can't go them for the exhaust, and the POD is in an enclosed box. This is what the ADRs dictate. Before you can get any damages paid to you, you will need to PROVE that the exhaust and cat (When new) don't pass emmisions. Remember, cat convertors are a consumable item, and are meant to be changed roughly every 60 000KM.

And I quote: Normal engine reconditioning within manufacturers limits is permitted; Modifications must not affect compliance with any emission or noise related ADRs; All emission control equipment must be retained and functional; It does NOT state standard. Before being able to make them pay for shit, you will have to prove it doesn't meet these standards when these items are new and in a functional condition. And I'd say they're legal as long as they're put on correctly, I ran a high flow cat, and a 3" exhaust, it met both gas and noise emmisions, and was therefore owner certifiable.
