  1. Who ever had the timing sheets for the morning course two, was there a vehicle number written down there as "33.5"? If so, what was the quickest time on it?
  2. So, things didn't pan out how they were planned to back in July, my white beasty is still with me, and there will be no new additions to my fleet just yet. But what does this mean for my car? Well, the huge turbo is GONE. Like, completely, manifold, dump turbo, GONE. I have a new turbo sitting here (ATR43G3), which should give a super responsive setup with a very usable rev range. I also have a new forward facing plenum. Camber arms. Coilovers All to go in. But what's happening with the motor? Well it's not 100% decided yet what products are going in, but there'll be some nice little goodies going in for a budget rebuild to handle some circuit work.
  3. I hear the Dr has the times for all courses except the GTW
  4. That was the run I convinced you to really launch it!!!
  5. I don't even know where I collected that cone from! I hope I delivered it back where it was meant to go! Thanks again Dave for the drive! That car is hell fun to chuck about! Just need to sort that camber, throw some semis on and give the keys back to me at Wakie...
  6. That bloke was a wanker, he rocked up late, proceeded to tell us he'd lost stuff, then broke the trailer, like CMON! Good work though Ben... Next time, put the race car in the ute tray and bring it too...
  7. http://cravedcoatings.com/ Nuff Said
  8. When I drive it, it felt like it was strugling to put the power down at the rear when doing the 180 turns. Felt like I had the clutch in when trying to accelerate. Thanks once again for the drive!!! I love your car!!!
  9. So, I have three people that I need to thank. Firstly, Dave, thanks for the drive, that car is a load of fun! Keep the same turbo, and get rid of some rear camber as Duncan suggested and this should help plant the back of the car. Secondly, Big Thanks to Eric for letting me take his GTR for one run. Totally different kettleof fish the GTR to a GTS-t. Third, and held last because it's the biggest thanks, to Mel, for my battery triangle... Nah, actually more so for letting me abuse the living hell out of her car and just laughing the whole time I did it! I owe you big time for letting me take that out! And I'm glad everyone was having a great time, I was getting so jealous of everyone doing skids... Until a few people lent me keys at lunch time...
  10. If you own an R33, pop the centre console out for the day. There is two bolts under it that hold NOTHING in. Pull them out, the normal extinguisher bracket sits perfectly here and gets bolted straighted in. No drilling or cutting required.
  11. That's called a scandinavian moment... If you can pull it off, it's even more impressive then a scando flick!
  12. I may consider matching this but to wear white... I reckon we can get a kitty going for both sides of this fence...
  13. Just make said form disappear unless she wears white...
  14. Lizbert, Happy barfday! Have you bought yourself the RVF yet?
  15. Engine conversions are classed as a Performance Modification, this would be illegal whether it be NA or Turbo. And since the RTA will have the engine number marked as a Turbo also, it's going to cause more problems. Keep the motor standard and do suspension mods.
  16. Why so far away Steve-O! I'll drive to yours, you drive to the pub?
  17. What do you mean out the side of the sump?
  18. We just don't want you Zane... The guys can check it, and update. Get your exhaust mani fixed up?
  19. Come on guys and girls, still a couple of spots left.
  20. It was a production car. The 427 that raced at Bathurst 24Hr, was bored, stroked, ran Corvette C5 heads and was a Monaro. The HRT427 never went into full production, but the original 12 built for crash test purposes made it to Europe.
  21. Still some spots, we'll let everyone know when it's full!
  22. Agreed! Especially those who are claiming a push rod to be outdated technology... It's actually newer then OHC (And DOHC too IIRC) In regards to them, the RB30DET conversion is not that expensive. Get a decent RB30E motor, buy an RB25DE or RB25DET head. Get the water gallery welded as per the manual, and the head shaved, this would cost you around $150 just to weld and shave, or around $500 to weld, shave and service. Grab the right timing belt for about $100, grab a VRS kit for $330. Drill and tap two tensioner positions. Everything bolts together. Go get it tuned (You will want more then an RB20/25 turbo though!)
  23. SAU:NSW is currently hold a social event on the last weekend of August. We have a couple of spots left remaining, and at $60 a piece, should prove for plenty of entertainment without the risk of needing loads of petrol, or busting an engine! 24. It's a legal engine drop in, no engineer should be required. The RB25 was available in the R32, hence as VSI06 states: Examples of minor (owner certified) modifications are: * Engine changes where the capacity increase is less than 15% above the maximum size engine available for the vehicle (providing no major structural modifications are necessary and where noise and/or exhaust emission ADRs apply, all standard equipment such as carburettors, exhaust systems, exhaust gas recirculating valves, oxygen sensors and catalytic convertors relating to noise and emission control are retained and operate correctly).
