  1. Never had issues with Caltex 98. In fact it's all I run. Personally I used to find Shell had a placebo of more grunt, but less economy (Which after reading, was found to be because Shell runs more cleaning agents then Caltex, hence less fuel to burn) Caltex gave better economy then Shell, but ever so slightly less top end punch (Placebo again) but the car sounded like it idled smoother. BP I've only ever run once as I got the worlds worst batch of fuel that caused it to kick and buck and belch flames. Personally, I swap between Caltex and Shell without a second thought, I mainly stick to Caltex as it's cheaper for me.
  2. YAY!!! Oh and Shell, my R33 just got put in my garage, so the brakes and harness etc will all be stripped out this week for the next Work'n Weekend!
  3. Sounds like a good weekend. Might just have to lock in heading away on it... (Now how do I tell the missus... :S)
  4. Hey Guys, I have a Holden Commodore VT Series 1 Executive Wagon. The car is a V6 Automatic Wagon. Colour is White. The inside of the car is in pretty good condition, except for the front seats, where the bottom plastic surrounds have come un-clipped. The body is pretty decent, car is straight, and just has paint cracked on the rear bumper bar where it appears it has been hit from behind very lightly (Car is straight, bar has not popped off) The car currently needs a new alternator, and won't start as it has been sitting for around 3 months un-started. (The car DID run before it was left to sit) Since being left to sit, the car has lapsed in rego, but it will currently pass a pink slip if you get it started and alternator replaced. Between working on my Skyline, and the bike that's being converted into a buggy, plus having a work car to get me around, I don't have the time or want any more to get this car going again (Give it one weekend and you'd have one clean Commodore) The car is based at the moment in Wollongong (Dapto) NSW. You would have until the 10th of July before the car requires a blueslip. Tyres are in good condition. From memory the car has around 250 000KM on it. (Battery is flat, so I can't check it) Asking price is at $1,200 ONO. I'm going to have it up here for around 2 weeks, and after that it goes to the wreckers as I have no room for it at my house, and it is currently sitting on the front lawn of my Mum's house taking up space. Contact: 0438 002 006. If I don't answer, leave a VMail and I WILL call you back. Either that or PM me on here and I will respond to you.
  5. You obviously don't know me then. I tell people plenty of times, in pubs, clubs, shopping centres and footpaths that they are dick heads for doing stupid shit.
  6. They're phasing out 91 Octane and Phasing E10 as standard. 95 and 98 will still be available.
  7. At least I get decent insurance! Also my photo, so what? One taken at a good fun night out in the middle of some fun. You have a problem with this? LOL Secondly, my car that I have listed is done so as a running joke, those who know me/it understand... Again, you're the fool, who has lost his licence 3 times in 5 years and can't understand why no one wants to insure you!
  8. I tell ya, if you're planning to do that, DON'T get on the piss heavily on Saturday night... Shell and I got SOOO much done on her car over the weekend doing this... ROFL
  9. 70 to 75KM/h in a 60 zone. Downhill or not, you sir are a fool! Secondly, 85KM/H in a 40Zone! The construction workers do not HAVE to be at the site for it to be a construction zone, even if it is 3AM on sunday morning!
  10. Do a comp and leak down test, the issue may not be the rings.
  11. Safer all depends on where you live. Considering in our tiny lol community we have 2 of the 12 most dangerous nightclubs in the state... We have a pretty badncrime rate in a fair few areas...
  12. Most hire car trailers are unuseable for our cars. They are designed to take the publics abuse and often weigh in at 800-900KG. They are only designed to tow 2000KG due to the fact that they don't have break away breaks. This leaves you only capable of towing 1100 - 1200KG... Something to be aware, as if shit breaks loose, you're uninsured.
  13. I think hendorgot how to turn the computer on... Lol Happy birthday Neil!
  14. Pancakes on the rocks.
  15. Getting to places in Sydney. The price of rent (i'm about to go on the hunt in 3 months) vs income. The night life is shit (nightclubbing etc)
  16. There is also Marulan Driver Training. The Nirima tafe events SAU hold. And WSID at eastern creek.
  17. If you don't have the space, time or patience to haggle/wait for parts to sell, then avoid it.
  18. If it's an RB25 I'll come steal the motor out of it for cheap...
  19. Call your insurance company, give them all the details of the accident and the other guy, claim on your insurance, make them chase payment out of his insurance. This gets your car repaired to your insurances standard, and you don't get fubared around by his insurance company. Don't bother claiming on his insurance, too time consuming, they'll fark you around. Use yours, and they'll get all the other payments from the other insurance company.
  20. Except all of these changes re speed cameras are independant of the government... Ie the rta put them in...
  21. I'm out. Will either be still drinking, or well hungover. Is my 23rd Birthday on that day...
  22. $1040 fine for HAVING a RADAR/LIDAR detector/Jammer. Another $1050 fine for refusing to hand it over. Also, NSW police REGULARLY update the jammer/detector detectors...
