  1. I've said it 100 times but I'll say it again, R32 GTSt + RB30 = 00dles of fun!
  2. Thanks RHD! I ended up just getting an RB26 coil harness as I don't run a valley cover. Delivery was pretty quick, price was similar to what my local Nissan quoted me but the harness arrived in under 2 weeks as opposed to the 6+ weeks Nissan quoted!
  3. Not really any other options for the price or cheaper. 25 box is plenty strong and if you break it, you can always build it stronger (bigger shafts, aftermarket gear sets etc.)
  4. Mine likes to overboost, sometimes rolling on hard in the lower gears will make it do it but since I tweaked my ebc it doesn't really do it anymore. Usually when I wind 4th or 5th out it starts to climb up to 14psi+
  5. 25 or 30 isn't a crazy expensive engine conversion...
  6. Go the GT30, low mounted. Stock exhaust manifold will even be fine.
  7. I'll stick with my Nissan 3L instead of blaspheming with a non Nissan engine!
  8. As stated, perfectly legal here in WA. I run a Whistler Pro78, had it since just before Xmas and has saved me many times and more than paid for itself already. Haven't been done since I got it
  9. RB30DET + R32 GTSt = FTMFW At the very least put a 25 in there, the extra torque is exactly what 32gtsts need! Better yet.. buy the 25 I have advertised
  10. Yeah I got my water pump from Northside Nissan. As for other parts, I got a bunch of stuff from Japanese Performance Centre in Osborne Park yesterday and they were very helpful.
  11. So I got bored and hooked the G25 up to my PC and downloaded the demo of S2 (had only played S1 demo previously), I quickly decided I'd had enough of the shitty cars and bought a license for the game. So.. I am Bubbajugs if you see me and right now I'll be on the iiNet server
  12. Cubes, what cams were you running before the regrind?
  13. Same turbo, same actuator, same controller, same boost. The only things different were z32 afm (was maxxing the stocker) and 550cc injectors (did them at the same time as the afm) and a minor tune to run them.
  14. Well if you hadn't maxxed the turbo then you should be able to make a bit more than you were making (whatever that was). I did pretty much a direct back to back, same turbo (25s1) on a 20 and a 30.. made the same power but a lot earlier.
  15. I killed one 20 box with 183rwkw behind the RB20, beat up on it pretty hard though and I think it was rather tired to begin with. Replaced it with another 20 box and it was fine till I put the RB30 in.. then it didn't even last 2 months with the 3L torque. All other drivetrain components are fine but I put Nismo 2way in about 8 months ago because the stocker diff was single pegging it. Tailshaft is also a custom unit to handle uber torque and was built when the 25box went in.
  16. New clutch, needs adjusting. Also, my 25box upgrade was about a $2.5k excercise with the full custom tailshaft I had made and purchase of senders, oil, etc. (paid $1500 for a secondhand 25box)
  17. Any competent pfc tuner would be fine. I know Ant Scali tunes a mean pfc.
  18. You don't NEED to buy a resistor pack from a GTR, you can just wire in the appropriate resistors into the loom.
  19. Well the difference between no cat and the x-force 3" lo-flow POS, is chalk and cheese. Made my engine doughy and less responsive and the seat of the pants dyno told me it lost a good 30-50hp.
  20. What power were you making with that turbo on the RB20? Because unless the turbo was too big and the 20 was running out of puff to spin it up high, you will make the same power but a fair bit sooner.
  21. That's the one! Pretty sure I saw them in a computer store the other day for 280. It's the Logitech G25, 900deg forcefeedback, clutch pedal, 6spd gate/sequential remote shifter. Nice piece of kit. Been meaning to get myself a piece of rubber from some guy in the states that you put under the brake pedal to make it a lot more realistic.
  22. Great quality wheel setup! Really need to get it onto some form of base/frame as I have to set the forcefeedback really low otherwise my coffee table tries to walk across the lounge room Borrowing? hell no! they're only like $280ish now
  23. Definately worth it. I was sceptical when I first put mine in.. $1500 is a lot to spend for something you aren't sure is going to work but since putting the 25box in, I don't regret it and think it was a much smarter thing to do than put ANOTHER 20 box in again.
  24. Did you adjust it at all or just threw a new clutch in? Reverse doesn't have synchros so I can't see how a worn gearbox can result in you not being able to select reverse..
  25. Anywhere along Guildford Rd anytime (particularly in peak hour) is dangerously scary.
