  1. AFAIK camber isn't adjustable out of the factory... only toe is.
  2. I put a set of them on my old lady's 911 a while ago, decent tyre but never had the porsche on the track.
  3. Jack up the back and put it in gear Ferris Bueller stylez..
  4. Sweet, I'm about to order a coil harness too. You don't happen to have a link to the RB20 one do you? I can only find the 26 one which isn't so bad, I believe the only difference is that the ignitor is in a slightly different spot..
  5. I got a C's short shifter to suit a 25 box when I still had a 20 box. The plastic bush on the bottom of the shifter is smaller in a 20 box. Also the snout of the top of the box that the shifter anchors too is shorter on the 20 box and needs to be spaced up a little or the block that clamps to the snout will not clamp. That being said, even spacing it to clamp will still allow the shifter to move 3-5mm upwards.. hard to do but I just had to be conscious to not reef on the shifter too hard, otherwise it would pop the plastic bush out of the arm that it seats in.
  6. For me, I don't care how much money I throw at my gtst, I prefer rwd An R34 GTR is on the cards further down the track but it will replace the 32 as the daily and the 32 will become more track dedicated.
  7. 20det and 25de (r32) will bolt up but the ports are definately slightly larger. I went from a 20det to a 30det using a 32 25de head and it was something we noted When shopping for plenums you are pretty much shopping for a 20det setup If you use a GReddy plenum you will need to relocate the battery (as we recently found out when dropping a 25det/30 with a greddy plenum into my mates gts4). I am hoping that with the gtr plenum (the angle of the entrance is less than that of the greddy type) and q45 throttle body it will still come out close to where the standard GTR piping comes so hopefully I can get away with using mostly standard gtr cooler and piping.
  8. ^^ lol Well the GTR's 4wd system isn't constant so if it's not spinning the back tyres then it's not splitting torque to the front wheels (although there is about 5%ish split to the front in 33s and 34s).
  9. Welcome to teh intanetz Nathan, harden up
  10. I think the $$ when new is probably a good indicator too.. AFAIK the 32 gtst was about 40k when new and the GTR about 110k.. had to be for a reason
  11. Sorry bit late but I was getting 12psi just under 3500rpm with the RB25 turbo. Some tuning could bring it on a bit earlier.
  12. Hesitation/stuttering would make me think fuel pump. Popping and backfiring sounds like spark breaking down. I would start checking ignition items, plugs, coils, coil harness etc. Is it s1 or s2 25? s1 will have a seperate igniter like 20/26, that could also be stuffed. Does it do it everytime without fail? or only when hot? or just randomly intermittent?
  13. greddy for rb20? no such thing, rb20 and 25 are different.
  14. How did you "end up" with a big chunk out of the wheel? what did you hit?
  15. Could also be the coil loom/plugs on the loom, my plugs were falling apart causing a really horrible intermitent misfire (started only when hot then got gradually worse to where it was there all the time).
  16. I have access to a tig welder but unfortunately don't have the know-how to weld cast alloy so will be taking it to a shop to do. Waiting to get my Q45 t/b and still sussing out what I need to graft onto the GTR plenum (AAC valve, vaccum points etc), then I'll be taking it to a local engineering shop to cut'n'shut for me. No idea on price but I imagine about half the cost of one of those dodgy ebay jobs.
  17. I'm running NDC bearings (some Jap brand), seems fine and they were a fair bit cheaper than ACL's. I would also get the crank machined for some oversize bearings just for peace of mind (I didn't do this the first time and discovered the crank had a heap of end float which munched the thrust washer, caught it before it got too bad but I was up for another set of bearings, crank machining only cost me $120).
  18. Not on the car yet but when finished will pretty much be an RB26 plenum chamber on stock runners with single Q45 throttle body at the front
  19. We don't really rely on any other states for anything so grocery shopping is alright I guess (at least I don't notice it).
  20. Talk it up Bardley, talk it up.
  21. Does that apply when you spin out and your rear end passes you? lulz
