  1. Andy, can you confirm that the OE turbo is BB? Maybe when you get the one from Japan?? If so, why is Danwatt's and Jet's BB highflow shorter? My highflow is very nice, the cost was $1100 + install. Boost is the same as OE (0.8bar @ 3200rpm), but it now boosts to 1bar and ~3800rpm and holds it to redline (literally). Don't know if it is BB or Bush, what internals were used etc etc... the workshop that installed it has "lost" the invoice which the turbo repairer needs to check their records. (Really starting to piss me off). Can't hear my turbo spinning when the car is shut off (but I do a cool down before shutting it off, so maybe that is why). Will see what it can do when I get the eManage installed (probably around the same time as Jet gets his Haltech in).
  2. High flow means it pushed more air. ECU has a predetermined air/fuel ratio it must adhere to, thus more air = more fuel for OE ECU. My fuel economy remained the same after the highflow and hardly changed (0.1L/km) after the dump back exhaust. I presume the Jet was going by his leaf? I am pretty sure that with the standard turbo, the green would bottom out of the leaf under WOT ..... or wait for the PM35.
  3. Looks good TJ. Especially with the mat hiding the bracket.
  4. Still buggered unfortunately. easy rule is VQ25DET is ok up until Oct 2003 VQ35DE will be fine from 2004 - end of production.
  5. Shame that. He may have been able to run up some pre-orders... ... or given credence to some owners decision to stay with what they have.
  6. Either use Infranview to change the files size (it is free) or upload it to photobucket of something similar
  7. Give it 3 months or so and it should cover all models, not just RWD RX (which is the car going through compliance), but all AWD models as well as the 350s. Will be sticking with my 250t though. Nobody told me (since I wasn't there), was the 350RX brought to the meet on the weekend?
  8. Hey guys. Postage will be via Express Post once I receive the plugs and will be bubble wrapped for safe transport. Postage cost is $8.50 anywhere in Aus. Please confirm via PM by 6pm this Friday (12/6/09) if you want a set. I will place the order once I have received everyone's payment. Total cost will be $104.50 to your door. Denso state that these plugs are good for 150,000kms or around 1.5-2 times longer than Platinums.
  9. Haha! I hope you gave him a smile and a wave as you drove past as well! Thus is the advantage of the ARX over an RS...
  10. But she doesn't have a problem with mine?? ...or did you just not want to tell for fear of hurting my feelings?
  11. Hahaha! So YOU were the "guy" who was interested in the Nismo exhaust (it was on the burgandy ARX)... I enquired about that car, but Ben said that he would probably sell the exhaust separately as he had a guy who was interested in buying it.
  12. and a room dedicated to all that paper?
  13. Ben will help you. He still answers my questions and I bought my car over 2 years ago... I am in Melbourne. If only all retailers/sellers viewed customer service the same way. Needless to say, Ben has had repeat business through me and I would dare say the same could be said for a number of guys on here. btw, did you buy that Burgundy ARX?
  14. I completely agree and felt the same... before I saw Nick's woodgrain. Looks nice (in the flesh) and is MUCH more durable than the normal black plastic (seems to have a hard clear coat). 'tis good! but I still prefer the black.
  15. Damn man! Are you using 91RON unleaded or the correct 98RON Premium? Maybe you should try a different fuel? I know when I have put Caltex Vortex98 in my tank, my exhaust coughed up puffs of carbon when ever I put my foot down, smelt of rotten egg all the time and I was getting 80km less from the tank on mostly freeway driving. I generally use either BP ultimate, Mobil Synergy 8000 or Shell Vpower. None of which give me the any of the unpleasant effects outlined above.
  16. Nope. DVD ROM only plays the navi disc. If you want a DVD movie to show up on your screen, talk to Jetwreck. He has done a very nice conversion.... or do a search for it.
  17. Look like they are the insides off a Cima. Balkan have been done similar Cima internal M35 headlights as well. Love 'em That ain't a 260RS front bar.
  18. That's a very specific wheel spoke design to fit those calipers. Still don't think they would fit with stock RS/RX wheels.
  19. Offset? If you are getting bigger brakes, don't bother with these. You will never fit them over the larger calipers. Stock RS wheels are 17x7 so these will easily fit if the offset is satisfactory. One last thing. Try to keep the wheels and tyres the same size all round. I know the Z33's and V35's of the world generally have wider rear tyres, but that is because they are RWD cars.
  20. Nice pics Ian! Looks like a great meet. Lots of purrdy wagons. Who's is the white Axis? lol at the great Powerduct on Jet's car (looks to me like you got a Trust intake pipe on that thing. FMIC kit?)
  21. NM35 Turbo is a Garrett M24N as you can see. I have requested specs & highflow options for this item and will post when (IF!) I get anything back that may help. You won't be disappointed.
  22. Yes. But you will need to have 18's (minimum) to clear the calipers. RS 17's won't clear.
  23. I have seen that wheel on an M35 that was for sale last year, so yes it will fit. It is one of two Momo wheels made for the M35, for a pic of the second type, ask "Nickcorr". His has a woodgrain finish (looks really good in the flesh, and I hate woodgrain) and is chunky as hell! If only I could find one in black.
  24. Agreed. I have the QFM A1RM pads on my car (daily driver). Pulls up much better. No dust (which I needed) and no noise (which I preferred). Seem to have a pretty good lifespan and are a GREAT price too! Definitely recommended.
