  1. Dirty play Stephen... Dirty play.
  2. Rest assured, I can get one in Melbourne... but without a tuner down here it is useless! Only Sydney and Perth house F-CON tuners (DAMNIT!)
  3. That ECU has been on there since this time last year!
  4. F-Con V Pro has a VQ25DET harness available and is what most of the Jap tuning houses use in NM35's. VERY nice piggyback. Go for it! You have a tuner in Sydney (1 of only 2 in Aus, the other is in WA). Expect to pay big $$$ for it and for the tune. They are probably the best piggyback going around (bit better than the eManage Ultimate), but are a pig to tune apparently... and you need to know Japanese.
  5. Agreed. DO NOT GO BACK TO 2.5"!!!!!!!!! Get as much flow from your exhaust as possible.
  6. When do you need them? I was probably looking at placing the order in the first week in June. I will need the money up front to place the order (I have to pay all money up front to Denso when I place the order).
  7. rapid vehicle depreciation?
  8. heh. No wonder you have trouble dealing with Aussie Nissan dealers.
  9. Yes I know. But I figured those who do not know already may want to know. So it is done?
  10. I just get asked to sign in.
  11. Yes it is possible to do as the Nismo, Impul, Teps and Mines (among others) all have re-mapped ECU's for M35 (VQ25DET). Got another link for your ECU pic or want to just attach it here?
  12. hmm. That is $150 more than what Sk offered delivered to Melbourne.
  13. hmmm.... *dreams of AP Racing 8pot front and 6pot rear Z33 upgrade kit* *curses failed lotto ticket*
  14. They are some mighty pretty dump pipes there Andrew
  15. lol... You going all "Danny" on us Andy? Or do you only tell the people that definitely won't be there?
  16. They would have to make one up. Different exhaust flange to the 34. (queuing Iain with flange jokes)
  17. Fits no worries Not my car though
  18. Dunno about a "troubled" RS. Both Jet and Myself have had radiator tanks go (mine actually cracked at 3 points - top tank, bottom tank and one of the tubes = R.I.P.) and both of us (and Danwatt) have had our turbo's go - all have been highflowed. Issues I have had are; Right front wheel bearing assembly replaced at ~94,000kms Turbo let go, thus was highflowed ~120,000kms Radiator turned emo - replaced with custom unit ~145,000kms That is all.
  19. I spoke to that guy while he was selling his car. He had "sports ryder" springs that Pedders in Glenvale (or Glendale... not sure which).
  20. Yep, as zei20l says below, there is quite a bit that has to be removed to get to them (they are bloody deep in the engine too). I can tell you that the Denso Iridium plugs also improve the VQ25DET's reponsiveness (and willingness to rev) a bit with when compared to NGK Platinums (changed at 80,000kms). Indeed.
  21. Hi Thomas, Nice Stag. Good to see some Impul goodies on it too! Just make sure that you use 100ron fuel with that Impul ECU There are a few places in Australia that will import M35 bits in, but nowhere over here that stocks parts (unless they happen to be shared parts - 350z/V35/Maxima etc). What kind of parts are you interested in? I am sure that your local Nissan dealer can find any OE part on their FAST system if you supple them with your VIN. They will also have to import the parts from Japan. If you want aftermarket parts, try Yahoo Japan ( or create an account with Import Monster if you want them in semi-english). They may be able to send parts to Sweden, otherwise have a look around for any workshops that deal with Japanese cars in your area and talk to them. Who did you do business with when you purchased your car? They could probably help out with aftermarket stuff.
  22. Just wondering who would be interested in a potential group buy for Denso Iridium Power spark plugs. Cost will be $16 per plug (inc GST) + postage (Express Post anywhere) from Vic. Quick read HERE We have them installed in 2 M35's here in Vic, both of which run beautifully (OE platinum gaps are 0.8mm). Unfortunately due to the fact that the M35 plugs need to be shipped from Japan, there will be a 10-12 week wait from time of order. Have yet to look at S1 or S2 plugs, but let me know if you are interested and I will get a price for C34's also
  23. Tuning workshop in Japan. HERE for their website.
  24. hmm, interesting engine. TEPS complete VQ36DET. (331kw) Pretty sure we could see that kind of power out of the VQ25DET...
