LOL My RS doesn't talk to me, but my mate's RS greets him every time he turns the key. (he hates it because he doesn't know what she is saying - and it is just too funny not to tell him it is only a greeting)

300v Chrono cost is high. RETAIL... about $100 for 4L... and as you know, we need 5L per oil change. So ~$160 for 6L of 300v, saving 1L for next time averages out to be about $130 of oil per 10,000kms. The K&N filter has a silicone surface over the cellulose which, in theory, reduces drag on the oil as it flows through the material. It is a heavy duty, well made filter with a handy 25mm nut on the end which makes removal easier (mine was a bitch even though I only do them up hand tight). The Veruspeed (Nismo) info straight from RHD; The VERUSPEED oil filter adopts a Density Inclination Structure, in which the filter weave becomes closer towards the center. The filter provides both longer life, and better filtration as the bigger particles are caught near the surface, and the tiny particles are caught in the fine mesh near the center, this 3d filtration greatly increases the effective filtration area. The physical filtration area was enlarged by optimizing the furnace shape I found the Veruspeed filter to be on par with the build quality of the K&N (which actually surprised me), although not quite as heavy. I would use the Amsoil filters all the time if they were not so damn flimsy feeling. I love the theory behind their nano-molecular filtration, and it does make sense, but I can't help but feel like it is a cheap build (even though it costs me more than the K&N and the Veruspeed). So if you do your own changes, it will cost you ~the $150 every 10,000km's... which ain't bad IMHO I would personally prefer to spend $150 every 10,000 and have some extremely high quality oil protecting my engines internals than to spend $80-100 every 5,000 for a compromise.

No problem if you change it ever 5,000kms as it is a mineral oil with synthetic additives. You get what you pay for... although I did find it to be better than a few of the Synthetics

Seriously man, 190,000,000yen is what they are asking.

Motul 300v Chrono (10w40) with Veruspeed, K&N or Amsoil filter (currently Veruspeed). Nissan's oil is a 7.5w30 that they use in standard passenger cars so you could also use the Motul 300V Power Racing (5w30). I have used a number of different oils and I can tell you from first hand experience that the engine revs easier and "feels" right with the 300V Chrono.

Man up Iain! I am at work sick!! How Un-Australian! Using a sickie when you are actually sick.

Just been looking at the Kid's Heart site and it seems that they are selling their lovely "staGT-R" as they call it. It is a 250RX, RWD, N/A (yes, that means the VQ25DD engine). Asking price as of late April? A wholly reasonable *cough*bullshit*cough* 190 Million yen (that's $2.54m AUD!!) They are looking at putting a cosmetic conversion kit together and, when asked, feel that an R35 GT-R drivetrain transplant into their staGT-R is "impossible". Dunno know about you guys, but if I was dropping $2.5m on a Stagea, it would want to have a slightly nicer R35 conversion (A Pillars!!) and highly modified, but reliable R35 running gear.

Thanks for posting that Chris! I will be buying it soon... Just kidding. I could understand someone grabbing it if it had the black leather interior and pop up screen etc, but with the exception of the head unit there is nothing in there that is worth buying. I understand what Chris (Rogers) is saying about the engine cover cracked, but the engine looks like it has taken no damage externally (who knows what has gone on internally though) and it may have been the way the bonnet bent that busted the cover. The exhaust may be the only thing worth salvaging unless you own a black RS in which case the skirts and rear bar would be good. Having spewed all that, if anyone on here does buy it, I will put up my hand for the foot rest and the plastic weather shields that go along the bottom of the doors! Doubt is will be able to re-registered though. Since it has been written off and looking at the angle of impact, I would say that the chassis has been bent.

Will These Wheels Fit My M35 Stagea?
iamhe77 replied to Houdini's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yes. You will fill out the guards nicely (width wise) and your speedo will only display 1.7% slower than your actual speed. Assuming your current wheel is the stock wheel is the 17x7 +45, 215/55's that came on RS/RX's Try these to make sure Wheel Offset Calculator Tyre Size Calculator -
Not at all... But since the boards were quiet, I thought I would post something that some people on here may be interested in stuffing around with.

Personal taste, yes... but having driven both in stock form IMO M35 > C34 -
Yes. On this forum, try Import Monster OR click on the RMS Motor Parts. Both can source them, although you may have to point them to the supplier's website. Also, RHD Japan and Nengun can do it (just send them an email detailing the part you want if you can't find it on their site). Good luck.

No, but all those other POS drivers online who decide that slowing down to take a corner means slamming into the tail end of the car in front sure do piss me off! EDIT: Just read about the damage which is rumoured to be for the Race Cars only - not the domestic cars (weak)

Looks to me like one of those info sheets that hang in the window in cars on a sale lot. From what I can decipher, your Stag can transform into a sedan and you have "ejector seat" style suspension

Fs: M35 Rs/rx Standard Wheels
iamhe77 replied to zei20l's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I do what I can, TJ (actually I lie. I do a small amount of what I can ) Me? Shit stir?? -
Yeah, you would love to. You still on those COD games? GT5? Would get it, but no vehicular damage means a piss poor "sim" LOL. It is easier when you get some "bolts". * 1 mod can only be fitted per area of the car at a time * (I wasted a lot of my bolts to start with.)

Hey all! Just been mucking around with this online game where you create and control an F1 team. Upgrade cars, buy/sack staff, R&D new equipment etc. Great fun when you get into it! (if you like this sorta thing) Click here -> FormulaWan

GREAT pics Ben... and great choice! -
Confusing Russians with Germans?... For shaaaammmmeeee (as Abe Simpson would say). Yes, I think it will get finished.... eventually (I have to believe it man!). Yes it would be cool. Hey Andy, have you got the disc with the partial translation or was that a screen shot sent to you by the developer?

LOL. Nope. I think it was SNA or something and didn't make out the three numbers after that. Nice try though.
