  1. 4,500? Seems a bit laggy for me mate. Give me 1bar from 3700-3800 with no tapering off to redline. What were you doing near FTG Nissan? I thought you broke down on the way back from Phillip Island?? Yeah I agree, could've saved a bit of money on parts - namely that pretty little powerduct you got there (would've looked at your springs, but I got my suspension coming soon) Back on topic It sounded to me as if there is a slight blockage in the oil line to the turbo which clears pretty quickly (when the noise goes), but I am told that the turbo would seize almost instantly if this were the case. Or could it be a bit of vibration from the turbo?
  2. If your car is that sorta greenish colour in your avatar, I would say the 1st one. I like the 3rd the best, but I think that black wheels would look a little odd on your car.
  3. My apologies, I had NJStar set to Chinese Is this better?
  4. No VQ25DET harness for eManage Ultimate unfortunately. I know that there was a guy in NSW that had the Haltech 350z Platinum used as a piggyback ($$$ouch$$$) on his M35 and got around the 200awkw figure. The eManage is basically a universal piggyback, as long as you know what you are doing when installing it. I believe that Jetwreck is going for the Haltech interceptor for his piggyback. As far as I know, the only ECU that has a plug in for VQ25DET atm is the HKS F-CON V which is great if you live in Japan. Unfortunately I am not aware of many people in Aus that can tune the F-CON, let alone well.
  5. What area is your playground Freddy?
  6. It would seem that someone shares similar dreams to me Give me that tiptronic with AWD though
  7. OE replacement filter (Amsoil Ea) Nick. Definitely wouldn't be flapping around or vibrating.
  8. Just been on the phone with the guys that installed my highflow. They seem to think that it sounds more like something to do with a lack of air getting to the turbo than anything. Will try to organise a time next week, maybe, to get my car onto their dyno and (hopefully) replicate the sound.
  9. Not BB. Standard setup highflowed. I have spoken with the guys at RE about it, but have just not had the time to take it in (they are not there on weekends). Dunno man, sometimes it feels a bit weak (?) whereas other times it blasts through the revs and feel like it could haul an B-double up a mountain. Maybe the eManage will help...
  10. So are you telling me you do not have that "surge" at 3200rpm (stock max boost)?
  11. Che? There are definite rises in boost at 3200rpm and ~3800rpm if that is what you mean, but it does not spike, just holds.
  12. Doesn't make sense. If we all have the same sound, it can't be the stock turbo as I don't have one!! Wait a minute! Highflow a highflow!?!?!
  13. ...now where have I heard that before
  14. Doesn't surprise me. Ben alluded to that when I spoke to him last. Maybe they will be done properly this time
  15. When someone has the $30k+ to pay for emissions testing on top of the cost of importing, then possibly. As of now, nobody has that, nor is prepared to have that kind of money to burn.
  16. For those who can read Japanese, can you please translate the first option? I know that the second option is the pop-up screen. I assume that it is leather, but can someone please confirm this?
  17. Thanks for the M35 link TJ. HERE it is translated Oh, and I like that "it already had has some delicious"
  18. Is larger than the Nismo one. Here are a couple; Balsinari Pond ??? I have also seen a little black spoiler that would be no higher than 15mm and looks like it is an OE part of the rear door (it isn't).
  19. Factually biased.
  20. Just turn your RX into one. It is what I will be doing (within reason - no Nismo ECU etc)
  21. Fuel flap. When I picked up my Stag (had no fuel), I looked for the fuel flap release button. Couldn't find it, nor could my mate. Tried to open it my pushing the left side of it, but to no avail. Had myself, my mate and a dude looking for a way to open the fuel flap at the servo. Finally gave up, called Ben @ Northshore who proceeded to tell me (in between laughs) that all I had to do was push it on the side. I sheepishly went back to the car and pushed the RIGHT side of the fuel cap which opened effortlessly Nothing like having a heap of people looking at your unique (at the time) car while you struggle to open the fuel flap!
  22. The only negatives I have experienced is that the turbo has a tendency to give up as Craig said. Also, if you are in a very warm climate, I would suggest getting a radiator made up. 16mm core is waaaaayyyyy undersized for what we have. I actually think that heat is the biggest issue with the M35. Tight low mount turbo fit and an undersized radiator (for Australia) help to add lots of heat in the engine bay. Check out the majority of Japanese tuned M35's (Yes, there are quite a few now. There are also a few used for racing in Japan.), they all have upgraded their colling systems (radiator, coolant breather tanks etc). Selling? 2+years of owning it and I would not consider selling now (not with my S-tune on the way and the eManage waiting) More and more tuning parts are becoming available and there are already quite a few options for the usual bolt on mods Caldina's are nice (I like both models available over here), but are not up to par with the M35. No where near the space and M35 interior is much nicer than a Caldina's. Caldina = weapon? Nah, my uncle-in-law has a Caldina, which always sits distantly in my rear view mirror. Definitely.
  23. No Nismo steering wheel, just a couple a (very nice) Momo wheels. Click for the Complete "NISMO Package" (RS/RX only)
