  1. Only in RWD (6 speed manual) lol. To each their own Thomas. Would like to compare your modded C34 with my very lightly modded M35 sometime!
  2. OEM includes a cat as part of the dump
  3. 4.5-6.5?? You may want to check if you a "stock" turbo hiding down there. Don't think Nissan made a turbo with that much lag from factory.
  4. Possibly. But it is still way too try-hard... even for you Iain
  5. Unless you own an import and live in Vic. OR like that ricer look of the carbon caked on one side of your rear bumper
  6. but gets you nowhere.
  7. Understandable. Let me know if there are any options for a cat to be added to the dump. If not, no stress. Gotta have at least one cat as I don't want all that carbon sh!t on my rear bumper.
  8. yep. We reset the error codes and it went away for 2 weeks then came back. FTG stated that the error was in the "miscellaneous" directory in their consult so couldn't help as they can't read Japanese.
  9. LOL. I still don't know how you got all that passed road worthy (let alone VicRoads). Do you have the stock ECU or is there a piggyback installed? Not sure why you need to hit 5.5k in 1st gear though!
  10. FD = Greatest Japanese (car) body ever designed.
  11. meh. Faaaaarrrrrrr too ricey for my taste.
  12. Cat after dump is not good for me personally. I have the de-cat Kakimoto 80mm front pipe that bolts straight up to the OE dump (and to my Legalis exhaust) so I guess I will be sticking with the OE dump.
  13. That diffuser would be a pain in the arse! Speed bumps, parking, hills, train tracks, slight bumps in the road, small children's ankles...
  14. Stephen, try to get the error code and the description of the Airbag error. They should give it to you (FTG Nissan do).
  15. What are you sorry for? (bit tired today, so maybe I missed something?) That reinforced cover sounds good. Sounds much better than the rubbing my previous item made on the ground as soon as I hit 80kph (thus the reason it was ripped off). Wouldn't mind having one there, but $90+? May have to wait.
  16. I got the same result using FAST and my VIN. Funny thing is that when I entered it in Parts Master, it came up with in INVALID PART NUMBER. BUT, when I entered 75881-AQ000, here is what it displayed. When I click "Supersession Chain" it brought up the 75881-AQ060 part number (I can't read the description though, damnit!) I would say that you have the correct item.
  17. Just depends what they charge for the little buggers *hint* $2.50 per clip is NOT satisfactory!
  18. Dolphin dump is a different design again (much straighter) If you are designing one, try to get it is straight as possible. Yes the OE dump as a small cat on it. Are you able to get a cat to fit on a 3 or 2.75" dump and fit it in that space? If so, I would be very interested as I need a cat-fitted dump pipe on mine.
  19. Does look like an Axis grill, but wouldn't it fit? I don't think that the Axis front bar has a deeper section for the grill and all M35's have the same OE bonnet.
  20. That is a damn shame (so do you still have that deep sick feeling in your gut?). Simple solution though! Buy the ARC intercooler! Bolts on using existing pipes but does not use the air deflector, is much thicker and is a Q.U.A.L.I.T.Y. unit.
  21. Nation's Capital by default. That sounds like the typical narrow minded approach of 80% of Nissan Dealers. Go elsewhere. There has to be more than one Nissan dealer in Canberra... I would assume? Why not get Hornsby Nissan to send you a heap?
  22. Nope. The Dolphin grill has a thick top part to it, and I have yet to see any with the word "Stagea" on the mesh.
  23. Dunno which Nissan you are going to, but they all have 'em. Even Frankston Nissan has those clips (and their service dept is next to useless - speaking from experience). Take one in to the parts guys, they will bring out a whole box of those clips. They are used on all recent(ish) Nissans
  24. Left is Nismo NM35 kit with a Takero's bonnet extension and a very interesting Stagea grill (I want it and the Nismo kit!) Right is Balsinari NM35 kit
