  2. +1 Interestingly "official" figures state that the PM35 with the VQ35DE uses more fuel (8.2km/L = 12.1L/100kms) than the turbo (8.9km/L = 11.1L/100kms) as well! I do find it difficult to believe though. Yes, but I think that you are forgetting the lower compression of the VQ25DET compared to the VQ25DD
  3. Maybe you should post a thread on the V35 forum showing off your canons and wearing your t-shirt... ...then sell them to Jet.
  4. V35 paddles from the CVT8 should fit... feel damn good too!
  5. You really need a highflow don't you? Bouncing it off the limiter is not a difficult thing to do, bud.
  6. Agreed... but technically he still has an RS4V
  7. HA! You talk big from another state, with your wide tyres, your flowing 3" turbo back exhaust, your fancy 550hp turbo, your road-hugging Bilstein suspension.... umm.... *cough*
  8. *cue music* Tell him what he's won Dave! *cue crowd cheering* Well for his effort to alleviate any worrying by "scottnothing", zei20l, or Iain as others know him, has won a fantastic prize consisting of his name associated with solving problems for M35 Stagea's for the lifetime of the SAU website! *crowd applause* Not only that! But if you look deep enough, you will find this correct answer in the annals of internet history for all time!! *crowd goes nuts* Ladies and Gentlemen! ZEI20L!!!! .... yes it is a slow work day.
  9. Using a Consult cable perhaps? hmm between this possibility and the dump, I don't think I could get much more interested... EDIT... No wait! My headlights just turned up!
  10. We won't be seeing the VQ30DD over here. It does not meet power/weight requirements (191kw/1650kg=116.5kw) and I don't believe that any workshop has tried to get compliance for that engine in an M35. Even if it was eligible, it was not a common engine in the NM35 and was not available in the later PM35. Most buyers of the NM35 went for the VQ25DD if they wanted economy or the VQ25det if they wanted power. The VQ30DD was the "tweener". The PM35 only had the VQ25DD or the VQ35DE available Suspension for M35 is different between AWD and RWD as Ben said. There is Nismo S-tune available for RWD M35's. I think that this would be your safest (and best value) bet. As for parts, body/interior etc are the same as and NM35's and PM35's (with the AXIS/ARX body kits being the exception - unless you put the plastic wheel arches on as well) Engine/exhaust stuff? Try looking for Y34 Gloria aftermarket parts. There will be parts that are interchangeable between the VQ30DD and VQ25DET, but don't count on any VQ25DET performance parts fitting. You may have some luck with VQ25DD stuff or maybe VQ35DE but since the fuel delivery is different (Direct injection vs Electronic injection) is may be difficult. Those wheels will fit you RWD Stagea beautifully (Nice dish!). Hope that helps

  12. May be difficult for them as they use inferior fuels to us is the US. Would be surprised of they do as there is no M35's in the US (not eligible for import there) and Australia is a pretty small market, let alone creating something for an uncommon car in a small market. Would love the option though. Be interested to hear how you go. Good luck! Yep. They really upped their name by being the first to do an effective R35 GTR access port. Bloody good too from what I read and hear!
  13. While we are on the subject of VQ35DE powered Stagea's. Just thought I would post a couple of VINs in case anyone wants OE parts, or to check transmissions etc. 350RX RWD VIN- PM35 650407 Autech 350s (nm35 Axis style body) VIN - M35 0033AZ MODEL - TLGARSAM35DDAT33AZ
  14. 10" may be too wide... depends on the offset and if you want your rims sticking out from the guards. The widest I would go would be about a 9" wide rim with a +20 offset.
  15. Interesting... Pics of your exhaust when it is fitted (or before/during fitting if possible)!
  16. I thought you said that your max boost was 0.8bar? That is 11.6psi. What did you use to measure the psi?
  17. maybe you should be bothered reading 20 pages. I don't think that price has been specified as yet...
  18. ahem... stock (11.6psi) boost. Dunno about excess heat. Ceramic can handle a ton of heat (it is the ceramic panels that absorb the heat when the Space Shuttle re-enters the Earth's atmosphere).
  19. Nice. Are you able to get a pic of the angle it of your front pipe from the side of your car? Mine has a slight downward angle to my Legalis is a little lower than I would like. If this dump makes the front pipe a little straighter, sign me up.
  20. Forgot to answer this one. 140awkw with boost limited to 10psi and my crap compliance exhaust (only 3 cats in at that point) was still fitted. Not in my instance. The ceramic wheel was still spinning as per normal, but only 2 blades were present which produced 0.6psi, the rest of the blades as well as some other ceramic bits were located in the dump pipe cat.
  21. Which Endless pads are you using? Perhaps they have a higher operational temp than you are reaching? Pads that don't "bite" would explain why your brakes are unimpressive.
  22. lol. Yeah it did stop working. Then out of the blue it started again... but then stopped. Oh well, easy come easy go. Never said anything regarding the build, just saying that I couldn't imagine Nissan putting in a gauge that read incorrectly, even if it only worked for 100,000kms.
