    Stolen!

My Diamond Cut Rays valve caps were nicked off my Nismo LMX5's at Fountain Gate last year.. Weak. I mean, c'mon! They are frickin' valve caps!! Now have a $10 set of stainless steel one's from Autobarn... meh, sorta works.
  2. I don't have one Steve, sorry... but you could always get RHDJapan to list the price of a new one if you don't want to go 2nd hand on IM. RHD have better pricing on quite a few items (Nismo thermostat cost me $55 less for a new one delivered to my workplace through RHD than it did to get a second hand one via IM)... having said that, some of their stuff is ridiculously prices (Nismo bodykit for example).
  3. Nope. VQ25 - Bore 85mm Stroke 73.3mm VQ30 - Bore 93mm Stroke 73.3mm VQ35 - Bore 95.5mm Stroke 81.4mm
  4. Hahaha! No, not jealous guys... Just thought that Stephen might bite first... On a good day - 6 flat. On a not-so-good day - nearly 7. I really have to get my intake & dump sorted
  5. or you could get a replacement via Yahoo Auctions. Being in Vic, you could use Import Monster and pick it up from their warehouse (if via sea) or have it delivered to your door (via air). Should between $600-$850 if you can wait for the sea container and pick it up from Bayswater.
  6. Looks good Chad, welcome! hmm, must be the aero kit that makes it look a bit... erm... feminine.
  7. You are just too active for your own good Andy!
  8. Dunno about Shell being a "dirty" fuel, the only 98 fuel that leaves black puffs out my exhaust is Vortex98 (Caltex). Shell Vpower, BP Ultimate & Mobile Synergy 8000 do pretty much as well as each other in my car. In case you didn't catch it, check out Ash's thread The Inside Look… Ferrari & Shell - Formula 1 "A key point to consider is not all the batches are the same. As the development goes on through the year during meets, given there is no in-season testing now, one batch is not necessarily the same what will be next. Ferrari might also be chasing a specific result from the fuel which could play key parts in a championship decider as it has before with a race win for Schumacher as he gained another lap over everyone else due to fuel composition." I know that it is mainly about F1, but if the fuel batch can vary at F1 level...
  9. Spotted Scotty NM35's Stag... in his driveway. Nice car bud, Love the FMIC setup & throttle body pipe (but you knew that already) f*ck'n loud exhaust though! (You would love the exhaust Iain/Craig!)
  10. I do when shopping... 2 of them (nearly 100kgs all up). Leave the rear windows down about 90mm to allow enough air in. Don't think anyone would be willing stick their arm through the door though as an aside, my BIG dog spewed on the way to the beach one day with 4 people and my other dog in the car. Nasty. Even worse was that it was not solid/chunky so I had to clean the carpet, the storage compartment under the floor, the place where the jack is stored, the spare wheel, under and around the spare wheel and the two storage compartments either side. Not the most enjoyable experience one can have in a car. Why was there so much? 1. He is a big dog 2. he also spewed on the way home Funny now though.
  11. The standard turbo is a Garrett M24N and is a Ball Bearing unit. The problem is that it has a ceramic exhaust wheel which packs it in. Mine went around the 115-120,000km mark, but others have gone earlier than that. I had mine high flowed which allowed the original housing to be maintained... Dunno what the internals are... yet.
  12. Fair enough, but I can't imagine that 5 adults, 80L of fuel and a fully packed wagon would only increase weight by 275kg. I mean, I know the average Japanese adult is lighter than the average Australian adult, but still!
  13. Yep. Nothing special. Nissan recommend the 80,000km service to be the big bad one now... must be after more money.
  14. Hi Lindsay, Warranty's will vary depending on the dealer, but I can tell you now that Northshore Prestige's warranty is pretty damn good. Won't cover general wear and tear item like tyres, but stuff that should be working correctly (boost gauges, rear hatch locks etc) are dealt with quite well. Even if like me, you don't live in NSW. One general problem to be mindful of is the turbo... It will let go, just a matter of when. $2500 per headlight is what I have been quoted for a new item from Nissan. This for the Xenon units, the Halogen headlights are a bit cheaper although still quite expensive.
  15. Nonsense. Reversing camera FTW!
  16. Just looking through my Hyper Rev #67 and it lists two different weights for M35's. The first is gross weight, but I do not know what the second is as I cannot (yet) read Japanese (adds 275kg to gross weight). I also decided to throw in the stock tyre sizes for each model so everyone can figure out the best wheel/tyre size when upgrading to keep their speedo as accurate as possible. 250RSV - 1560/1835kg (GH-M35) wheel/tyre size - 215/55/17 93V 250RS - 1550/1825kg (GH-M35) wheel/tyre size - 205/65/16 95S 250tRS Four V - 1680/1955kg (GH-NM35) wheel/tyre size - 215/55/17 93V 250RS Four - 1650/1925kg (GH-NM35) wheel/tyre size - 215/55/17 93V 300RX - 1590/1865kg (GH-HM35) wheel/tyre size - 215/55/17 93V 250RX - 1560/1835kg (GH-M35) wheel/tyre size - 205/65/16 95S 250t RX Four - 1680/1955kg (GH-NM35) wheel/tyre size - 215/55/17 93V 250RX Four - 1660/1935kg (GH-NM35) wheel/tyre size - 205/65/16 95S AR-X Four - 1720/1995kg (GH-NM35) wheel/tyre size - 225/55/18 97H
  17. Should be. I have Z33 non-brembo pads in my M35 and they fit perfectly. Considering that the Brembo package is the same between the Z33 and V35 (also a bolt on for my M35), I would imagine that the non-brembo would be the same and fit all three models.
  18. Weigh bridges are like bathroom scales*... no two are the same. * and dyno's and speed camera's and vehicle speedo's and most Chinese made stuff and....
  19. Bah! Sell the Lexus. Lots of pics... May know someone who is interested.
  20. Nope. Told you everything you need to know.
  21. Nah, not at the moment. Normal suburbian travel (curse the red light!!)
