  1. Will be interesting to see what you get. So, you have the highflow and a turbo back exhaust. Done anything else before the Haltech goes in (besides the "angry" eyelids)?
  2. Good work Steve! Should be quite the interesting thread * grabs popcorn *
  3. full exhaust to start with. Power? Dunno. A few of us are aiming at between 200-250awkw (in time), and I have heard of a VQ25DET producing 300rwkw (in an S14). I guess the level of power is directly proportionate to your level of cash flow. One forum member has had 173awkw with only basic mods.
  4. Non of the above. Get a 3" (or more) turbo back exhaust.
  5. Indeed they are Jase. Will be interested to hear what Kip has to say (relying on my memory to remember a name from 15months ago)
  6. Good stuff Dan! I cannot stand dishonest people... Good luck.
  7. Spotted a nice silver V35 heading down Brighton Rd (from Nepean Hwy) just after 9am today.
  8. ... and what exactly did you do to the intake? Did you just run an extra CAI into the stock box and open up the stock funnel? Or did you change the intake piping? If so... PICSORBAN!! Only if you make up a sealed airbox with sufficient cold air flowing in such as incorporating the OE air funnel and adding a CAI from the front bumper... but even then, you are still restricted by the intake piping. I find it interesting that F1 use a panel filter... you would think that if a panel filter is good enough for an F1 car then the intake restriction is more to do with piping and CAI's than whether the filter is a pod or panel.
  9. So what do you want? Paddles or a manual?? nyaanyaa all you want bud. Once the front is done, all I will feel is satisfaction when I look at my car... I also take solice in the fact that when you look at your car, all you see is a stoned Pokemon.
  10. Dude. $500 excess. I pay my premium monthly, hence the $86 per month... although I am building a new house in a rural town
  11. Try driving a 1991 Mazda 121 for 2 weeks while a custom radiator is being made up for your M35. There is no bananaman large enough to express how much I appreciated my car when I got back in it.
  12. I drove mine for over 150kms no worries, although I did keep it under 2500rpm. I believe that Jetwreck drove his from Melbourne to Sydney when his turbo let go! They are certainly "drivable", but it is a damn slow drive.
  13. Just had mine updated with all of my mods and agreed at value set at $28k. $500 excess ful-comp (incoming suspension does not affect the monthly price) $86 per month Go Shannons! Go!! * price is significantly higher with ECU mods *
  14. V35 grounding points are quite different. There are a couple of threads in the V35 section regarding these, but a G35 grounding kit will fit no problemo. hmmm.... interesting... may need to request an extra lead to go to my radiator top tank mounting pins.
  15. VIC 2 You sure about that??
  16. You are a prize-less grumpy bast*rd today.
  17. I think Danny is pointing to the "tu tu tu tu". Different to "psssshhhhhtttt", but still ghey... ... Why would you want your M35 to sound like a crappy VN Crappydore?
  18. Only cool if you have a sunroof
  19. Stock BOV will be fine... unless you want that ghey "PSSSHHHHHTTTT" when you lift off.
  20. your wife is right behind you isn't she... I do agree with what you say though.
  21. Dunno what is available at Jaycar...Maybe have a look at their website and see. I will be looking at one. Will let you know how it goes. You no like, you no have to buy.
  22. LOL. If all grounding kits were made equal, you wouldn't need one would you?
  23. Most certainly will. Dunno about price, I am guessing at $200 delivered from the US... maybe. I thought it would have been very similar to the V35 grounding kit that they do, but they said that it is completely different to the VQ35DE. If they do not do group buys, I will get a set and try it out myself. Need a quicker shift.
