  1. lol... I wonder who would be interested in re-selling this conversion...
  2. LOL.. Nah, I used SK's estimate of 70kw for the S2 regarding drivetrain loss which makes more sense to me than a percentage as why would the drivetrain sap more power from the engine the more powerful the engine is? I figure it takes me X amount of energy to lift a chair. If I went nuts in the gym and grew 50% stronger, would it require more energy to lift the same chair? No, it would require the same energy, but I would have much more left over due to the strength increase (which is why it would feel easier to lift it).
  3. Completely agree with you Steve, which is why I have the combination I have on my car. Could have gone with a local exhaust, but the prices I was quoted at the time were higher than getting my JDM front pipe and exhaust landed and installed. ... but that was when the dollar was about 95yen.
  4. Yet can be easily coaxed into something with some decent performance.
  5. LMFAO!!! +5 I thought my front shocks were stuffed... So I ordered a set of Nismo's... LOL
  6. LOL... but you are not a member... yet.
  7. More like 430hp... nice. Those who don't have it want it. Those that have it want more. Those that have more are still not satisfied. such the wallet hating addiction we seem to have...
  8. hmm, just looked at what I typed... in old school terms... a 300+hp awd wagon doesn't sound half bad Make you feel good Scotty?
  9. Nope... Sorry. I do know that with a VQ35DET you can get 450hp at all four wheels though... With everything stock and a turbo back 3" exhaust, I would imagine something similar to what Scotty got with his eManage... ~170-180awkw (230-245hp at 4 wheels = 320-340hp at the flywheel).
  10. 191 will be at the wheels, but it will be Horsepower, not Kilowatts. 191hp = 142awkw = ~212kw at the engine... so pretty normal. All the Jap modded M35's have the FCON piggyback which is generally seen as one of the best, if not the best piggyback unit available... finding a tuner outside of Sydney or Perth is a problem though. If you have a tuner nearby that tunes the FCON well, I say go with that depending on price. The eManage Ultimate is bloody good and a lot cheaper, or you could wait to see what happens with the stock ECU remap that a couple of forum members are working on.
  11. Yeah, looking into it...
  12. Consult 3 FOR SALE!! Don't fight over it ladies...
  13. +1, +1, +1 hmm, I'll take the AWD anyday! YES!... but where does it end? I didn't realise that when my turbo blew up, my car required so many thing to make it "run" properly Doesn't everyone love the self closing boot? What about the dual opening rear (get your minds out of the gutter Stephen/Iain/Me) - window and door!
  14. So, I guess you work for the marketing arm of one of the bigger exhaust manufacturing companies in Japan? That white Stagea on Youtube has the Takero's "Full Titan". You can find the Youtube clip with the Takero's details in the M35 Aftermarket Exhausts thread. Hopefully that will give you some idea of the JDM cat-backs available. Did we? Can't go wrong with the Legalis. Love mine (but if you find the "Zenki" M35 Nismo exhaust with the 2 square tips, I would be interested in trading). Quiet, but also gives off a beautiful burble and can certainly give a bassey scream when the car is booted. Front pipes? Do you want de-cat? If so, Kakimoto and Freeway-Dolphin both do an 80mm de-cat front pipe (really enhances the Legalis' sound). If you want the cat, I would suggest something local as there is nothing available that is JDM off the shelf stuff.
  15. Haha! Berwick were actually more than happy to take my money ($97 per hour), but stated clearly that they refused to put their Consult on my car and would treat it as if it was a Falcodore... I promptly called FTG Nissan from Berwick Nissan's phone and booked the car in. Yep. FTG hook up M35's and V35's to their Consult 3... no problem.
  16. LOL. I guess you did not head my warning about them then, eh?
  17. conZult? Scantech?
  18. I have heard that your engine light may be there because of the eManage. I don't think there will not be anything you can do about it, besides putting some tape over the light.
  19. +1 Dyno sheet pic? Unless you have the full exhaust, high flowed turbo intake upgrade and an ECU such as HKS Fcon that came with your car from Japan, I just can't see 191awkw. If your car did come with those mods... fair enough... although I would like to see more than 191 with that list
  20. Hot to know a local product as I think it is important to help the local economy... but your point about the local "help" if you have any problems is not relevant with Jap exhausts. They are amazing quality (I had a group of 5 big HP GTR owners ogling my Legalis when it was being put on), include good quality gaskets and bolt straight up... even if you mix your manufacturers of use parts of the OE exhaust. I will be going local for my dump as I want an 82mm dump as my Kakimoto front pipe is 80mm & I want to make the most of it (even if it makes sweet f*ck all difference). Michael, yes a full exhaust is generally made up of 3 sections. 1. Dump pipe - from the turbo. Short and almost 'S' shaped in the M35. 2. Front pipe - from the dump (commonly contains that main cat). A bit over a metre in length with two 45degree(ish) bends which allow it to bolt up without modification. 3. Exhaust or Cat-back - these are you Fujitsubo Legalis's, Kakimoto R's etc and mainly dictate your exhaust note and how loud it will be.
  21. Harsh. Imagine if you had a Cube!
  22. Try THIS LIST of insurance companies. One of them should be able to help. Also have you tried Vigil?
  23. He does. That is what he is trying to get done. lol... so you have to have a certain amount of, erm, non-toxic smoke inside the vehicle?
  24. Tomei make LSD's for M35 Stagea. Definitely for VQ25DD and VQ35DE, so I assume RWD models. Dunno about VQ25DET AWD...
  25. Nonsense. Bring on the dark matter engines!
