  1. +1 I had Nankangs on my stock M35 wheels. In the wet, slight incline roundabout, turn the wheel to the right and the damn thing just plowed straight ahead and up the gutter. That is on an AWD 1700kg wagon. Never had an issue with my Kenda Kaisers which stick to a wet road at any legal speed.
  2. I suspect you can only have one or the other
  3. Sounds good Andrew. Cheers!
  4. Not really necessary Stephen. All you have to do is take it easy for the last block on the way to your destination. Not only will it allow the turbo to cool down, but also the transmission, diff etc, which all need to cool as well. You don't need to worry about the negatives that a TT brings.
  5. I have yet to get a dump as I am using the OE dump which contains a cat. I run the Kakimoto front pipe which deletes the standard cat(s). When I get the dump done, I will either have a Metal Cat welded into my Kakimoto pipe or I will sell the front pipe and get a dump/frontpipe/cat combo. If I didn't live in Vic, where the police are defect-happy, I would just put a 3.25" dump on and be done with it
  6. Why flame fact? I do, but I also don't wanna know the rebuild cost There is nothing right about this statement
  7. I may well be free... smart arse Black 350s would be very nice. Wonder if it could be converted to AWD
  8. Just hoping you can clear something up for me Roy. You keep saying that the GTR is $100k USD dearer than the Camaro... yet the GTR's RRP in the US is $72k for the Premium. Have I missed something? ... unless Americas economy is so bad that they have to pay customers 28k to take a Camaro off their hands
  9. That first one looks pretty inefficient although the dimensions are good Second is a Monza? Sounds the same a Scotty nm35's cooler (which just fits) Where are they from Danny?
  10. Yeah, I was thinking along those lines... if the mesh was painted black... No need to worry about intercooler timing. The front bar has come off 4 or the last 5 weekends. Got it down to about 5mins (including undertray)
  11. Update. The plugs arrived at Denso today, but I can't get there to pick them up until Monday morning. I will Express Post them out on Monday, so you guys (that paid) should have them by Wednesday at the latest.
  12. Actually, that front bar I linked to above requires the NM35 headlights and grill. The PM35 headlights won't fit without some crap looking cutting (they are about 10mm longer and come to more of a point than the rounded NM35 lights). To go with a PM35 front conversion, you need the following; PM35 headlights (I have) PM35 front bar (I have the RX front bar on it's way over already) Grill (or possible a custom grill - dunno yet). All AXIS and ARX flares/front/rear bars are interchangeable and are also the same regardless of whether it is NM or PM35.
  13. Sounds great Andrew. Will it be 3" piping and inlet/outlet or the 2.5" that is standard? If 2.5", why bother replacing what is already there?
  14. So you are bringing kids up on Ninja Scroll?
  15. plenty go through Yahoo Auctions. Best pricing for front bars is via Import Monster. Here is one currently for sale (ands in 6 hours) linky
  16. You will need to buy the Axis front bar as well. The grills are drop much further down the front bar. You will notice that they are under the line of the headlights, whereas your RS/RX/ARX grill follows the lower line of your headlights.
  17. Good excuse for an upgrade radiator Jo? Or just another reason to keep your hubby away from your Stag?
  18. LMFAO!
  19. Piping size? Stainless or aluminium? Keep us updated on the dumps man (with pics... please)
  20. Yes, but it the results are on a mildly modified M35. (turbo & turbo back exhaust) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ha...35-t281789.html
  21. I was changing oil every 5,000kms before mine let go... with some very expensive oil too! I did read on an auction sheet for a "Nismo" NM35 that the turbo was replaced under factory warranty 1 year ago... so maybe there was some kind of recall in the original turbo's? Similar spot. Driver's side. Still enough leverage room.
