  1. Yeah, this was first posted in the "M35 info" a little while back (nice to be able to find it in its own thread though ) I am currently trying to get the intake available for everyone, but this may take some time. The turbo is a GT-RS. Similar to Craigs(?) Done some nice stuff to it, although everything that is not a "TEPS" item is pretty much a bolt on aftermarket item. There was another one that installed a VQ35DET and was pushing 450awPS.
  2. So you didn't crack 200? WEAK!! Just kidding. 500nm is nice! hmm, must've missed the hoist when I was there (too much other shit to look at ). So I guess the next questions is "when"?
  3. Custom do up? (you wouldn't surprise me, bud) Saw a Kinchrome engine hoist for $180 the other day....
  4. Pressure and flow are two very different things. Whether it is water or air, the principles are the same. Trying to push 2L per second of water through a metre long 25mm hose will be at a higher pressure with less water "flowed" than if you tried the same thing with a 50mm hose. The higher the pressure, the more drag the water/air received from the hose/pipe, which eventually becomes a limiting factor. Scotty has a 3" straight through turbo back exhaust and an eManage Ultimate, so tunability isn't an issue. I would doubt the afm/injectors/pump would be limiting factors at 200awkw, but I am just guessing here as I haven't spoken to the tuner. Maybe the M35 has some kind of electronic restrictor in the ECU that piggybacks cannot get around... sorta like the R35 has in the TMU. Or maybe it is something much simpler. The piping on the manifold is... interesting...
  5. ASS | U | ME (mainly because I assumed they were BuddyClub as well)
  6. Lack of popularity
  7. ... or just wanna show off the size of their wallet
  8. 3" FMIC piping = less pressure with higher flow
  9. Good work mate! Dyno graph? What rpm was that at? Very interested to see the rebuild and BC's. Sunday good for you?
  10. Looks like I am more likely to turn up than you are Craig!
  11. Cannot fault their service. I have ordered various parts through them, from OE Nissan, Nismo and other aftermarket companies. If it is a small-medium sized item, it would take 5 business days to reach me from the time of order. Haven't ordered body parts as the prices seem a bit steep. I have requested a few parts to be listed which is usually done within 5-10 days, which I think is fantastic. Currently I am waiting for a Garage TEPS intake to be listed which is taking some time as the workshop has yet to reply to faxes and also because it was a custom intake made for a customer who posted pics of it online. I have found RHD to be far superior to Nengun or Greenline (have bought from all three)
  12. I actually like the ARX front bar over the Axis one for the NM's. Hey man. I did say that I liked your Nismo stickers!
  13. Yeah, but your ARX is black. Silver = average. Black = good! (just ignore the wheels.. if you can)
  14. Any chance of 3" piping Danny? mmm... more air
  15. Looks like the cross brace just unbolts though... My eyes might be playing up, but is that a solar panel on the dash above the glove box?
  16. RE's prices are pretty good. I don't know what they use now, but back when they did my high flow, they put Martini Racing 10w40 mineral oil in and it drove like it was being strangled. They were also using Castrol Edge (you have to ask for it), but I don't link how that compares in my car either. As I said, if you are not picky about what fluids are used, go for it. Ray/Brad/Michael do good work. Otherwise, you could always take your chosen fluids to RE for use in your service.
  17. Minor service (oil etc) - do it yourself. Anything major - Ferntree Gully Nissan. RE will do a good job of fluids/filters (although I don't like the fluids they use), but if you need diagnostics, ecu resets, parts, trans servicing, can't go past FTG Nissan. Just make sure that the parts are no available via Import Monster first!
  18. Unless you can find a wrecker with one. Import Monster/Nengun auctions/Bid Japan are your cheapest options.... or you could ask Nissan
  19. Sounds great, but I think that 600x300x80 will be way too big bud. Will be very interested if 600x210 (or 200)x80 with 3" piping can be done.
  20. I always thought that V stood for auto
  21. I do not believe that they do. I was looking into silicone hoses for my M35 and have to decide on purchasing either the Z33 kit or the G35 kit. They are slightly different. Also, I believe that the radiators are different. While browsing Yahoo Auctions, I have come across aftermarket radiators for both Z33 and V35, but never a radiator that fits both models.
  22. If you are going Nissan fluid, ONLY use Matic J. Should set you back ~$100 for 5L I am using the Nulon you refer to in my M35. Seems to be pretty good, but I have yet to drain it fully to find out. Will be using Redline stuff next time. Your trans should take 8.3L to fill from empty (as per the G35 manual). The extra 2L is used to make sure all the old oil is removed during a flush. Maybe the Nissan guy meant that you trans needed 2.9L to top up?
  23. +1 Nice road to drive, but for the majority of it you will be traveling at ~40kph Depends what you want. Scenery or Driving Roads?
  24. erm.. ... what do you mean "how does that work?"
  25. Sounds good* Where/when are you thinking? * answer dependent on availability of proposed date
