As thread states, looking for a 44mm external wastegate. Can be either Turbosmart or Tial. Has to be in near new and in top working condition.

There are no specific ARP part numbers for RBs,been through this with my engine. However i can supply you with ARP bolts if you like?

Hi all, Had the car tuned on Thursday and came out with a nice result. However the first few runs the boost was climbing like crazy,up to 25psi before Adam backed off. The wastegate is too small and will need a bigger one fitted. So as a bandaid fix Adam crimped the BOV vacuum line,we got a base boost level of 17psi. So i asked Adam to do a basic tune to that boost level. With only 45mins on the dyno we achieved this result: As you can see the power delivery is very smooth and is still making power over 7000rpm. He said with more tuning we will see 300rwkw at this boost level easily. Adam tells me at 20psi and a good day on the dyno 320rwkw will be achievable. On the road it feels bloody amazing,and just keeps pulling all the way to the redline. But the car will be off the road for a little longer so i can get a few little issues sorted.

Nice 34 Richard. Im sure you have sat in an FD or two. How did you go for room? Im a tad shorter than you and even i though they are a little snug, as there is not much knee room.

Heat range 8 is way too cold for a street car. 7's would be as cold as i would go.

Ok exhaust leak is fixed. The flange on the wastegate to screamer was not bolted up correctly. Now the car is alot quieter. Especially when the gate cracks open Thanks for the comment Marlon see you out at Adams.

Yes Ash what you said is true, but i believe it is spiking and bleeding down to the set boost level of 16psi. Thats what i got from his post anyway.

I saw full boost by 3500rpm but started spooling around 22000rpmish.

The reason its bleeding off is because the gas coming out of the wastegate is a bit much for size of the hole its coming out of. If you want to run higher boost i would port out the wastegate hole and get a bigger flap put on. That way your boost will be more stable. But thats for a later time, im sure you want to enjoy it for a while before pulling the turbo out again.

Stock R33GTST actuator. The HKS ones are adjustable i think. Do you have a EBC?

Firstly Nathaniel great result! And the 100 knock you are seeing,is it everytime you gas it or just some of the time? Dynos cannot simulate the load that road can on an engine if you havent already go for a spin with your tuner and get him to plug the laptop in. Seeing a 100 reading could be the knock sensors picking up something else which is making noise in the engine bay. But if you hear pinging when it reads 100 then there is obviously a problem. When i had a PFC in my car i would get high knock sometimes, i freaked out myself the first time. But with multiple tuners saying the tune was fine i put it down to the knock sensors picking up other things.
