  1. if you have a phone that runs symbian S60 and a bluetooth gps. You can get "race chrono" and it will do lap timing with a good gps it is good to 0.1-0.2 of a second. Any Wakefield day is then a timed event

  4. digging up an old thread for that? The factory system is rather restrictive if you are making a bit of power especially when you can get decent 3-3.5" systems that are street legal.

  9. Im with nismoid. i had one. i set the boost and then never bothered to touch the thing again. my new setup will be 100% controlled by the wastegate.
  10. just get a factory looking carbon bonnet that is painted the same as the rest of the car. light weight and stealthy.

  12. Will be interesting to see how it does in the emissions tests. What were the EGT's like @ ~20:1 AFR? still fairly safe? Are you going to be doing a comparison dyno run vs 98 ron?

  15. that turbo has nothing on a GT60. 2000hp worth of laaag.
  16. Its not in yet, looking at 20-22 psi, using the 50mm valve seat, the 60lb spring. From what i got reading the manual that comes with it i should only need to use port D and some preload to achieve this (i wont be running an ebc i only want the one boost setting)
  17. Mick, a GT3076 (like trident150v has) will do ~300kw @ the rears and is very similar to the HKS 3037 turbo.
  18. from memory mine will only be using port D with some preload adjustment. afaik you just leave the ones you aren't using unblocked?
  19. should do, that's why you need the resistor mod for the GTR ones to work.
  20. well if its brass, that explains why i thought it was an odd coloured copper

  22. what grinds my gears is a stuffed syncro on 5th and a wearing out synchro on 4th
  23. maybe the copper ring that goes between the V band joins? mine doesn't have any brass stuff with it.
  24. get an auto elec to check that the alternator is working properly?
