  1. you only get ~20km/h more by taking it to redline in 4th. there will still be a massive burnout without it.
  2. keeping in mind that they are not nice to the oil pump drive gear and can smash it to pieces.
  3. Make sure you get pictures/ video of the 1000hp 34 GTT thats probably going to be there.
  4. I have no idea, i would assume it is single. The Apexi model number is 415-A001 if that helps you at all?
  5. Possibly the same deal as the owner of RH9. He drives a Porsche 911/Mercedes vito daily with RH9 and a heavily modified ford something (forgot which model) as the "weekend" cars.
  6. afaik they are only usable in the state they are purchased in, at least that's the way the ACT ones work from memory.
  7. Price drop $300 delivered to your door.
  8. or large black carbon deposits. running rich + standard rev limiter = massive clouds of black smoke
  9. from memory, anna (msnismo) has a .63 rear version and is on full boost a smidge before 4000. that's using cams and a fancy manifold.
  10. this is a nissan skyline forum. perhaps you should ask on the ford forums.
  11. 044 is bigger and pumps more fuel that pretty much sums the whole thing up.
  12. Dave, there are dome top pistons for the twin cam 30. Arias make them 9.2:1 CR, they also make another slightly higher CR piston also but cant remember what it was. Edit. Found the info. p/n= AP332104 10.6cc dome top 21mm pin 1.280" compression height Only stocked in 0.20 thou oversize (86.5mm). COMPRESSION RATIO 9.2-9.4 p/n= AP332105 13cc dome top 21mm pin 1.280" compression height Only stocked in 0.20 thou oversize (86.5mm). COMPRESSION RATIO 9.5-9.8
  13. the problem with using an RB25 or a VG30 turbo is it will be on full boost ~2000rpm, ask CEF11E what his is like to drive with his high flow stock turbo also by the time you hit 5000-5500 the turbo is totally out of puff. From memory he could put his foot down in 5th and it would just lose traction the boost hit that hard.
  14. Thats the torque shane, power is on the other side
  15. greenline are quick, nengun is the slow one.
  16. sleeping onsite?
  17. except that they more than likely had the name before he did.
  18. 3. not just the head gasket you will need all the new gaskets. 7. if you do go with forged pistons there are many options available however the CP 9.0:1 CR pistons are the normal recommendation. 8. for the price of prepped stock rods seriously consider the spool imports forged rods as they are not that expensive - see user spoolup on these forums 11. use an RB26 item or jun/tomei if the budget allows. 12. use a standard RB26 item. 14. if possible use a mostly metal oil return, the rubber/silicone drys out and cracks after a while due to the heat.
  19. A few people on here run GT3076R turbos in the .82 AR rears they are making good boost around 3000rpm and top out at 300-320kw, then there is the GT3582R, in .82 AR rear this turbo is capable of ~350-370kw and is on good boost levels around 3500rpm and with the 1.06 AR rear is good for a bit over 400kw with good boost levels around the 4000rpm mark. (by good boost levels i mean 1 bar or more) i personally haven't looked into the twin setups much so cant really comment on them but the Veilside R32 drag car runs twin GT3582R's so if 1400hp is your goal that's a possibility
  20. I was looking into this and was advised that sticking a lot of really hot metal tube just below the bonnet can make a mess of your paint. (assuming you are using a manifold made from tube instead of a cast item)
  21. automated computer posting. takes a chunk of text copys and makes a thread with it.
  22. wish my engine build could have been done nice and quick like yours. *checks callender* oh yay 18 month anniversary
